I am pretty sure that the purple overseer actually belongs to Chasing Wind. The overseer color seems to be based off of the color of their text. Chasing Wind uses purple text, so they are probably the owner of the purple overseer. There are two other Iterators that use purple text. Those are Wandering Omen and NGI. They appear in Spearmaster's broadcasts, but seem to be far away from outer expanse, so I doubt they own the purple overseer. As for who owns the gray overseer, it could be Secluded Instinct or EOC, both of which are also random background characters in Spearmaster's broadcasts that use gray text. But it is unlikely that either of those two are located anywhere near outer expanse, so it could still be owned by Unparalleled Innocence, who as far as im aware, has no confirmed text color. Edit: Added some extra details
If you look at the colour of the text closely, you’ll see that chasing wind’s text colour is more of a pale bluey lilac, while the overseer is a much more vibrant and less blue shade of purple. There is actually a perfect colour match in the chat logs though, named “NGI”. This name is likely a pseudonym, as this name is used in anonymous groups. This leaves 2 possibilities: either NGI is an iterator we’ve never heard of, or NGI is an iterator we’ve heard of, we’ve just never seen them in a chatroom non-anonymous. The second option (which I think is more likely) leaves only one option: unparalleled innocence.
Hmm..afaik still none of this is confirmed, but I'd go woth chasing wind and unparalleled innocence since they are a bit more important to the known lore afaik.
If you craft a fire egg with gourmand and show it to Moon, she says she doubts you were able to make it yourself, and implies that gourmand’s campaign is just him exaggerating his story to sound cooler than he actually is. It’s pretty likely that gourmand is just making up his ability to spit up anything and craft nukes so he can tell his slugpups a bedtime story about when he was younger and found Moon and 5P’s grounds.
I think Sofanthiel simply belonged to one of the dead scavs from artificers little intro, it makes sense that if the scavs from Metropolis would venture outside they would send someone with a citizen drone so they can get back in easily.
No one talks about how arti's kids are the same color as gourmand's in his end game art which leads me to believe Gourmand most likely adopoted them after they got lost like regular slugpups
I don't think the Gourmand overseer eyes are meant to be any colour. The Gourmand crafting and item generation doesn't make any sense and isn't explained... because it didn't exactly happen. This is because its whole journey is an epic story rather than a factual account and the crafting was added as an embellishment. It doesn't matter to the story what colour the overseer eye is for Gourmand, its just a rare trinket it uses to escape a tricky situation to make the story more interesting. Idk it's just a theory but I think its a really cool one and it would make sense with the overseer eyes.
gourmands 'crafting' is definitely just pulling an item out of its stomach put with more steps. gourmand's journey is definitely exaggerated but it does have a expanded stomach as seen in the slugpup ending. I'll mention this in the next video!

Woah the gourmand overseer one is really cool, i wonder if we'll ever get anything more from gourd... gourdy campaign the prequel would go hard af. Regarding the overseers in Outer Expanse, I think it's more likely that the purple ones belong to Chasing/Grey Wind and the grey ones to Unparalleled Innocence. Basing that not only from the fact that the overseers tend to align to a colour adjacent to their iterator's assigned conversation colour, (Chasing Wind has a sort of lavenderish one) but also we do know Unparalleled Innocence is verly likely Pebbles' and Moon's closest neighbour (based on the shaded citadel pearl), or at least one of the closer ones. THAT in combination with, reportedly, the purple overseers being a bit rarer than the grey ones, which WOULD make sense if we assume that Grey Wind is further away from FP/LTTM facility than Unparalleled Innocence.

I have been VERY VERY EXTREMELY lucky while playing downpour Across all slug cats I have seen in story mode A blue tinted noodlefly mother 2 albino noodlefly mothers (looks like the pink baby variation with a white stripe down the middle) A black and purple noodlefly mother And an Albino king vulture
Isn’t SRS’s can seen in the background of Outer Expanses pearl room? since spearmaster comes out of outer expanse and a can is seen relatively close, it would make a lot of sense if that is seven red suns.
the massive can in the background in OE is Pebble's superstructure i think, the perspective from OE is basically you exiting Pebble's facility grounds through his retaining wall, so you're kinda just looking back at his structure since you wouldn't be travelling that far
Slugpups story: i ran out of cycles as hunter and when i was having my first seizure my slugpup literally dropped the vulture mask (that he loved) and helped me up
4:37 Sofanthiel, or the citizen ID drone, could have belonged to an ancient in the past before the big ascension. As garbage wastes was crumbling, it fell into a pile of spears bombs and trash deactivated because the owner is dead. However, this could have belonged to another iterator such as moon, and not five pebbles.
i think scugpups liked and disliked foods are not random, they are tied to their behaviours, witch is random. I remember aggressives hating the blue fruit but anxious ones liking it
5:56 it actually is a pretty weak effect, UNLESS you crouch. if you crouch with (it might be two but I think one is enough) a gooieduck in your hands and go through worm grass, you won't get grabbed
Another thingy I saw is that there’s a chance that a explosive spear will be a different colour, for expample I found a scavenger with a yellow one on its back while playing artificer
Jungle night is just terrifying. More deadiler creatures spawn along with gnarly spiders adding just enough adrenaline with the contrast of night and music just hurts my soul
I like the art that depicts Chasing wind and Unparalleled Innocence. Since we never see them in game I like that players try to imagine what the unseen iterators look like.
I got insanely lucky today and saw in two separate expeditions an ablino king vulture and albino classic vulture! (disposed of the second one tho, coz i needed a mask)
My personal headcannon for suns is that, technically, he was in a different neighboring local group, but once the ancients all left he just kept sneaking into the local group with the goobers we know, until eventually moon just added him to all the chats lol
The overseers colors are as follows: Blue: Five Pebbles Yellow: Looks To The Moon (or Big Sister Moon) Orange: Seven Red Suns Gray/White: Chasing Wind Green: No Significant Harassment Purple: Unparalleled Innocence
My theory on sofantheil becoming deactivated is that it had imprinted on a scavenger beforehand but that scavenger died, and i think that it may do the flash thing like it does when fartificer dies or like the one the king scav's drone does when you kill it, and then it deactivates into the state you find it in at the start of the fartificer campaign
Ok so on the local group: according to the wiki, a total of 13 iterator facilities can be seen from the various high up locations. The wiki also has a list of iterators that are known, through pearls or broadcasts etc. There is a total of 14 known iterators (Not including LttM and FP) and one if those 14 is Sliver Of Straw, who i will not count. So i basically just assumed that all 13 iterators listed on the wiki were in the same local group.
now that i've thought about it for a while, i think that the citizen id drone (or sofanthiel) may have bonded with artificer because of her hate. (karma 1)since the chieftan scavenger had one too, im assuming it couldve been because of strong materialistic urges, aka karma 3. i think the id drone bonds with urges (karma), because some of the ancients had these urges.
I feel like the purple overseer belongs to chasing wind because the broadcast dialogue color matches the iterator color, pebbles is blue, moon is yellow, wind is purple
Nope! Instead when rain time/nightfall comes all the mean spawns start to pop up. The same also happens high up in the wall where the rain doesn't reach you, and supposedly in the metropolis (haven't unlocked that one yet)
Slugpups also have a randomized personality similar to scavengers, foods show this. for example if a slugpup dislikes popycorn there brave, if a slugpup likes gooieducks there agressive
My secret/detail: I was casually trotting through subterranean as survivor (in the slightly flooded area) and an ALBINO leviathan appeared. It had hints of pink and red on its fins and mechanical jaw, and an entirely white body. What’s even stranger however is that it was completely neutral. Not even wagging it’s funky hydraulic press mouth at me. I’m not sure if this is widely known, but now it’s time for my *t h e o r y* Since leviathans rarely differ in color in pattern, many just assumed it was a bio mechanical creature which was unable to reproduce. The albino leviathan doesn’t really fit this theory, however. So I have to main guesses on why it happened: 1. Printer simply ran outta ink 2. Leviathans can reproduce (assuming they produce milcc for their babies, packed with iron to make the mechanical jaw) and rarely, an albino occurs. This is reall long lol
I think a dev said that the albino leviathan looked like a void worm, and it wasn't a coincidence that it did. It could be that albinos were 'original flavour' leviathans that were purposed to be some sort of tribute to void worms, and darker leviathans were the result of contamination in the surface waters.
Leviathans are garbage collectors in water pools around FP and LTTM. That's why they have hydraulic press instead of default mouth. Albino Leviathan might be lost in transit, considering that Subterranean is full of trains, some of which might be cargo purposed. It grew up in a complete lack of natural light and thus has no pigmentation at all (sic!). Btw, Leviathans, Miros birbs, and Vultures will go extinct pretty soon as they are one of the most mechanical-based purposed creatures. Vultures use masks that were produced in Industrial Complex, Miros birds are literal cyborgs with Boston Dynamics legs.
I personally think that the purple overseer belongs to chasing wind because their text aligns with the color of their overseer, similarly to the other iterators
@@Acefdiamonds the fog demon, also known as the barnacle, is a super super rare creature that hides on the ceiling similar to dropwigs. When it detects you it will shoot out 3 tendrils that will try to grab you and bring you up towards the mouth. It's not that dangerous, just kinda freaky
Fun fact:slug pup disliked food and liked food is actually effected by personality!there’s also stuff you can do to tell the slup what to do,such as play, stop play, and stay here
hmm, the broadcast text colors line up with the overseer colors. Moon's text is yellow, and so are her overseers, SRS's text is red and so his overseers. so did we ever had an iterator with purple or gray text in the broadcasts?
I think the scavs know about the id drone because the big bad king scav had his own id drone and the king scav visits the tolls sometimes to um show off his mask and drone
There are two things you got wrong (or partially) 1. Slugpup food actually do have an impact on the game (sort of)! They predict the slugpup’s personality (for example liking bubble fruit predicts sympathy). 2. Gooieducks actually repel wormgrass VERY effectively. If you crouch and wait until the worm grass becomes inactive, they will be repelled COMEPLETELY. I’ve never tested it on red wormgrass but don’t try your luck lol.
It's been a total of two years since it happened, but I came to this video wanting to know if my memory is real or a Mandela effect, when I saw a friend open and play the game for the first time, in The Outskirts section, right where you come out of the underground after the tutorial, that area that is full of posts and has two paths to the left and one to the right, I remember that for some reason, the poles in that area activated as if they were machinery and scared the nearby lizards, Has this really never happened to anyone else?
Don’t know if this has any actual secret behind it that I didn’t notice or something, but I saw a jumping lizard (cyan) in chimney canopy as survivor, which shouldn’t appear.
what i kinda know in expedition mode and blind bonus the environment changes and i think ecosystem has different spawns too bad its not in the base game where it would offer some randomness and new way to experience a cycle
Cycles where a shelter failure occurs have alternate spawns. For example, you can find cyan lizards and monster kelp in industrial in survivor/monk during a shelter failure cycle.
I don't agree with Gourmand taking items from their stomaches when they're crafting an item, because some of the items that they can craft are literally impossible to obtain from stomach/gathering alone. Like the Fire egg which originates from Fire bugs, and Fire bugs lives in Rubicon which only the Saint can enter. And Gourmand can literally made an alive being just from their hands. Someone makes a theories on this which makes more sense, which is that Gourmand's abilities is not crafting items, but fusing them into something new.
@@Balagaga No, I mean he literally can create an alive creature by combining items in the gameplay. The easiest example is if you combined Glowing mushroom with either a cherrybomb or a Slime mold, you can create a Centipede or a Noodlefly respectively. I don't believe creatures would still be alive in their stomach for that long. It still makes no sense for me if gourmands just pulls alive creatures out of their stomach, but if there's a source that the devs did confirm it that way, then I guess that's the Canon.
@@Steven-nq7fx the reason gourmand has all the crazy items in its stomach is because its an exaggerated retelling of the actual campaign! in the ending we see cave(or tree) paintings depicting the gourmands journey triumphantly - so we can assume the playable gourmand is exaggerated and separate from what is cannon gourmand

@@ballSucker344 it is referred to as pebbles in the files
SRS isnt even local group (as far as we know) so he's probably not that close.
@@astrovation3281 iirc joar referred to all of the basegame iterators as "the local group"
Slugpups story: i ran out of cycles as hunter and when i was having my first seizure my slugpup literally dropped the vulture mask (that he loved) and helped me up
Awww
1:07 This is the most obvious fact for anyone who is familiar with the game's OST.
in arena, orange and green inspectors can spawn, which i (and whoever writes the wiki) suspect to belong to SRS and NSH respectively
I think grey wind or chasing wind overseer is purple from light purple broadcast text used by them
4:37 Sofanthiel, or the citizen ID drone, could have belonged to an ancient in the past before the big ascension.
7:33 it seems to be a popular headcanon that UI is pink or purple
Jungle night is just terrifying. More deadiler creatures spawn along with gnarly spiders adding just enough adrenaline with the contrast of night and music just hurts my soul
So the Five-Pebsis meme is actually lore acurate? Wow!
My personal headcannon for suns is that, technically, he was in a different neighboring local group, but once the ancients all left he just kept sneaking into the local group with the goobers we know, until eventually moon just added him to all the chats lol
phenomenal editing wow
I am pretty sure the colour of the iterators transmission name during the spearmaster story is the same as the colour of their oveseers
Maybe the grey overseers are just overseers without any iterator linked to him
The overseers colors are as follows:
Blue: Five Pebbles
Yellow: Looks To The Moon (or Big Sister Moon)
Orange: Seven Red Suns
Gray/White: Chasing Wind
Green: No Significant Harassment
Purple: Unparalleled Innocence
I also saw a video of an albino batfly
emerald tweaks
one of the things that mod adds is albino variants of other creatures, including batflies
@@minnarew Ohhh, so they might have just had that on in the video without realizing
@@catpoke9557 yep
At 4:27 , doesn't the leader of the scavengers have a similar one? Perhaps they saw that, and knew what I looked like.
I feel like the purple overseer belongs to chasing wind because the broadcast dialogue color matches the iterator color, pebbles is blue, moon is yellow, wind is purple
Wait....there's no lethal rain at the edge of outer expanse?!
Nope! Instead when rain time/nightfall comes all the mean spawns start to pop up. The same also happens high up in the wall where the rain doesn't reach you, and supposedly in the metropolis (haven't unlocked that one yet)
I choose to believe the true Gourmand ending is reaching the top of the tree / vista point, and watching the sun set over FP. What a view.
Slugpups also have a randomized personality similar to scavengers, foods show this. for example if a slugpup dislikes popycorn there brave, if a slugpup likes gooieducks there agressive
I knew I wasn't crazy when I heard that gutter track on CC! I didn't found it anywhere
5:08 has someone decoded the rain world language? or is it based off an existing one
I think that the grey belongs to sliver of state but noticing how long it took for saint to get to pebbles and moon I realized it’s probably not
I didn't know most of the stuff. Great video 👍
I’m not sure if this is widely known, but now it’s time for my *t h e o r y*
Since leviathans rarely differ in color in pattern, many just assumed it was a bio mechanical creature which was unable to reproduce. The albino leviathan doesn’t really fit this theory, however. So I have to main guesses on why it happened:
1. Printer simply ran outta ink
@@droopsmoop actually, what the dev said wasnt about albino leviathans, just leviathans in general.
I personally think that the purple overseer belongs to chasing wind because their text aligns with the color of their overseer, similarly to the other iterators
Don't forget to put the fog demon in the next video on secrets
What?
@@Acefdiamonds the fog demon, also known as the barnacle, is a super super rare creature that hides on the ceiling similar to dropwigs. When it detects you it will shoot out 3 tendrils that will try to grab you and bring you up towards the mouth. It's not that dangerous, just kinda freaky
@@ChaosOnyx oh the stowaway
@@Acefdiamonds ye that thing
@@Acefdiamonds love your pfp btw
Fun fact:slug pup disliked food and liked food is actually effected by personality!there’s also stuff you can do to tell the slup what to do,such as play, stop play, and stay here
I love how based gourmand is he doesn't try to kill himself like the other dweebs he just wanna explore and eat stuff for his tribes advancement
We must save the endangered albino leviathan
In the pebbles soda advert he looks so fed up💀
My guess as to why moons and pebbles overseers dont match their colours is becuase they are so close to each other.
Yooo I was the one thousandth subscriber! Congrats!
I’m pretty sure srs is part of the local group, as he converses with local iterators such as nsh in game
hmm, the broadcast text colors line up with the overseer colors. Moon's text is yellow, and so are her overseers, SRS's text is red and so his overseers.
so did we ever had an iterator with purple or gray text in the broadcasts?
in my hunter run my slugpup randomly threw up a green neuron fly so i had 2 green neuron fly
I think the scavs know about the id drone because the big bad king scav had his own id drone and the king scav visits the tolls sometimes to um show off his mask and drone
Congraga on 1K!
The only time when i encountered albino creature is when i explored the submerged superstructure and spotted albino vulture
The first time I ever gotten a Albino King vulture was with spear master
There are two things you got wrong (or partially)
In the wiki Seven Red Suns is part of the local group.
3:33 Lol, really? I have already seen 2 of those. And i'm pretty sure this wasn't in the Bitter Aerie.
The grey is probably silver and the purple overseer is probably chasing wind’s
Don’t know if this has any actual secret behind it that I didn’t notice or something, but I saw a jumping lizard (cyan) in chimney canopy as survivor, which shouldn’t appear.
the music of this game is sooooooooo good i love it
what i kinda know in expedition mode and blind bonus the environment changes and i think ecosystem has different spawns too bad its not in the base game where it would offer some randomness and new way to experience a cycle
I think gourmand creating life out of unrelated objects is less believable option! pulling items out of its stomach is confirmed by the devs
@@Balagaga I suppose that is a fair possibility to consider.
Has anyone uploaded the gutter version of Chimney Canopy's threat?
Aight amazing infos
ima head to the store and buy five cans of pebsi
There is an add for the watcher that is shown to

edit: didn't knew about the albino vulture variation
Does 1:57 not remind anyone of the Mr. Beast phonk?
Actually, there are two types of albino vultures! Normal albino, and rainbow albino. The rainbow albinos are the ones with the color shifting wings!
love you balagaga 😘
