I had a scug concept that was pretty like the friend... It could walk in four legs, what would make him ho slightly faster and pressing jump while running in four legs would make you instantly leap. It's name would be "The Wild" (i could change later) and it would respect every form of life, but hated the rot. It would br able to call tamed creatures with it's meowing. It would be black with purple eyes and furry. It would be able to bite like artificer and learn somethings from an iterator that shared the same love for life he had, giving himself to the nature sureounding him, collapsing as a result of it. The Wild would be able to growl to scary smaller creatures.

Honestly, the fact there's curved surfaces in the game now feels really massive to me! It's like when slopes were added in Mario Maker 2 lol Also, I'm starting to wonder if this is the point in the story where more matter is being dissolved by the Void Sea than the matter that deposits on top (if that theory even is one that still applies anyways), and I wonder if the ground has literally been starting to crack, with the Void Sea vents being what causes the drastic environmental changes and such. Hell, maybe that's where the Void Spawn are coming from. Maybe they're a different color because they're out of their usual environment or so.

According to the Rain World Wiki, lantern mice can actually absorb void spawn I don't know if that makes them enlightened all of a sudden once they do, but I can imagine some funky shit goes on in their tiny little idiot brains once it does.

Possibly the pipes are green to mark regions of the DLC, this happens with Downpour, the Downpour regions have yellow pipes

tl;dr: Iterator speech in game could just be the same as ancient speech but super sped up because they're super computers. I really hope the narrator for the trailer is in fact a living ancient and not an iterator. Tt's possible that it wasn't slowed down at all but instead the iterators' voices are sped up versions of ancient speech, after all iterator's are exponentially faster than most life forms in many ways, so it's possible iterator's are just talking the same way as ancients extremely rapidly.

I think the reason as to why the Watchers world may be so mishmashed is because it isn't tied to a single cycle, but instead either traveling between them or perhaps even existing in multiple cycles at the same time. To me the Watchers feels like the antithesis to Saint, instead of being focused on ascension and moving on they want to see everything the world has to offer. They remind me of Rhinestones beneath Shattered Glass (the echo in Undergrowth).

Im thinking about 3 things in the trailer, the watcher is always crawling on the sand and snow/salt. Maybe some sandstorm or that drill crab will come up out of it if you dont crouch. Also, in the badlands trailer, there’s a weird moving orb under a cactus, it rotates around pretty quickly and I’m thinking that’s the drill crab. The last thing is pretty little. Those little black things on the sand are , as far as I’m aware, are rock fleas. They’re just background bugs but they tend to get stuck on weird terrain they aren’t accustomed to, like sand.

The weird monologue seems to have a plausible explanation in my opinion: 1.Each being's presence/existence creates a "ripple" in the world/time. Their presence expands outwards seemingly infinitely, affecting more and more of the world. 2. I think "eye" indicates "perspective." From one perspective the cycles are a loop, for another a spiral (similar to the loop), and for another a line (either going along the spiral OR the straight line that is the motion of any point of the expanding ring of a loop). 3. 1 and 2 combined create an unfathomably complex (and potentially very chaotic) world. I believe Watcher (since it's literally its name) has a heavy theme or perspective. Regardless of whether the Watcher is an echo, a normal slugcat in a broken world, an experiment, etc. I think that part of the point of the game is that the slugcat's perspective will have great effect on reality.

Nice analysis, I was waiting for this! As a lot of people have already said, it seems like The Watcher can time travel. It explains why all of the regions have such different environments and climates to each other.

What if the watcher campaign takes place in an entirely different section of the world in rain world than the one we’ve been playing in on the vanilla and downpour versions of the game

In the purple void spawn room the room pipes are also green which could result in some sort of connection between them/same regions
