Roland JW50 G600, G800 E96 W30..and many more LCD backlight problem.

This is an fix attempt for a dimmed Roland JW50 LCD, same one like Roland G600 G800 E96 W30 and many more..but finding a temporary solve with an LED lamp..just an idea!

Hello.. my roland G-800 backlight is blur but the blue light still appear there and cannt see properly. The other issue most of the switch panel button are not working. Any solutions please ....

Check the contrast knob for better LCD readings, you may try to fix your switches by the way I fixd mine..here is the video how to open and clean switches without desoldering .Of course if you have the skills and parts , new ones are recommended.

My Roland JW-50 has a problem with LCD , it’s dark screen everything it’s going allright but i have black display ,, Do you think we have same problem ?

It seems like a broken LCD..is it the dark area like a regulated form? can you make any change by turning the contrast knob ?

@@david-JW-50 Try to clean the LCD contacts, take out the metallic frame and clean everything , than put the frame back in place, you can adjust the pressure from the metallic locks...see my the video about G600 LCD fix, you''ll get an ideea
