What a journey it's been, Jen, can't even begin to thank you for this, both with your channel and the Bond series. Major respects for them ending it that way, but so apropos with the way Craig's tenure was so connected with each outing, more serial-esque than any prior iteration. When M was toasting him at the end and everyone in the room also repeated the toast "to James", it popped in my head that they could possibly be acknowledging all the past 'Bonds' or actors that have played the part, such an iconic character in pop culture at that, but alas, missed opportunity, they weren't. And sorry to come across as a pest for requesting it a lot, lol, but I so wish you would also do Cavill's Man from UNCLE, unless you've already seen it. If it was a long time ago I'd say that wouldn't count and you definitely should watch it again with 'us' lol.
I always figured that this was how it was gonna end. A gritty realistic Bond was never going to get a happily ever after. And it was one hell of a ride.
I love all the touches of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in this movie. You hear the music from OHMSS a few times in it. It's even better because OHMSS is one of my top Bond movies.
Jen, thank you for watching and enjoying the Bond films. I grew up watching them since my parents let me see YOLT in 1967. I even vacationed in Switzerland and went to Piz Gloria (I'm a professional photographer and have a cool picture from the helipad if you'd like me to send it to you). So many references to OHMSS, especially in the music. Just remember: JAMES BOND WILL RETURN
My son and I sat in stunned silence through the entire credits. I just want to thank you for doing all of the Bond movies. I've watch each reaction. It's been so much fun. JAMES BOND WILL RETURN!
Its been wonderful seeing u react to all Bond movies! Daniel Craig was a magnificent Bond and this was an emotional send-off but as much as I like the setting of the Daniel Craig era I honestly hope they go back to the past with future Bond movies. I wouldn't mind a campy Cold War era Bond. Anything to get out of the gritty era.
Jen watching you conjures up the memory of the day night I watched this movie. Except I actually had it spoiled for me because of a friend in another country. The fact that you came into this as a casual Bond fan and the movie left this much of an impact on you is a testament to how well crafted and sad the ending of No Time To Die really is.
Whenever there’s a lull between Bond films it’s tough to find things to get reinvigorated, and your watchalongs have helped fill that void. So, thank you for giving us something to continually look forward to over the last year!
There are massive parallels between the ending of "No Time To Die" and Flemming's short story "You Only Live Twice." In the book, James Bond is thought to have perished in an explosion while investigating the villain's lair, which happens to be a castle on a remote island off the coast of Japan complete with a garden of deadly plants. He is actually retrieved and has memory loss, so he lives amongst the locals for months. He eventually leaves to in order to find his true identity. In the next novel, "The Man With The Golden Gun", it is revealed he had been found by SMIRSH, which is SPECTRE in the films, and brainwashed into becoming one of their assassins. There were so many references to both the prior Bond films, and novels, that undoubtedly the literature inspired the twist ending of "No Time To Die."
Nitpick: It's a novel rather than a short story. But you are totally right! Also, the 'Die Blofeld, die' line was lifted straight from the novel too. Although I had a hard time believing it in this film. Bond had always known him as Franz Oberhauser (even if he does know he changed his name), I just don't see how he would be so willing to call him Blofeld.
I loved this. I must admit I shed a tear with you at the end. I really didn't take this as an end to a franchise, just the Craig version of the character. We saw him get his 00 in the first film, and his whole journey through to his demise. I really liked that they did something they'd never done before, and really made me feel something for the character that wasn't possible previously. This was a great great reaction, and very well judged. You made me think about the inevitability of this outcome in a way i hadn't before. And of course, some great music appreciation! Thanks Jen for a great journey through this series.
An epic, exhilarating and emotionally charged end to the run of my personal favourite James Bond of all time. I'm eternally grateful for Daniel Craig's take on the iconic character and will sorely miss him 😢. Also a hearty thank you, Jen for reacting to the entire film series. I always look forward to your videos. Best wishes. 🥰x
Thanks for the commitment Jen! All the Bonds on your channel. It's an absolute that I will probably be re-watching all of them. Love your reaction today. Big time fan, always here...Eric 😊
Loved watching your reaction to the Bond franchise! Thanks for doing all of them. This one definitely hurt a lot but it'll be rebooted with another actor and another timeline. Similar to how Craig's Bond is in a different time-line than Brosnan, Connery etc. Fun fact, Bond's island house where he retired is the same house that Ian Fleming had written all of the original Bond novels.
One of your best, Jen! As a long time Bond fan, I had the same "I can't believe it" reaction to the end. Your emotion was very genuine and one of the reasons I love your videos. Your toast at the end was very heartfelt and a really touching moment.
James Bond always liked to go out with a bang...but not like this!💥 Congratulations Jen, You've finally finished all 25 of these Movies! As Excited as I've been for this one, I've also been dreading it...because of that Ending! 😭💔 Also, Billie Eilish's Theme Song is "FIRE" (as the kids say nowadays)!❤🔥
Being a huge Bond fan since I was 9 years old, it's been so satisfying watching you discover and enjoy these films for the first time. Was so curious to see what you thought of 'No Time to Die' as I, and a lot of fans were shocked by the ending on first viewing, but have grown to really appreciate how powerful it is on every subsequent viewing. If you want another Bond fix, there is a brilliant, feature length, documentary called 'Everything or Nothing' about the history of the series which is incredibly interesting and entertaining. Love your videos, they are always such a joy to watch.
Great series Jen. You've been the best Bond reactor. Think I'm going to go through them all again. I enjoyed all the Bonds but the whole story arc to Daniel Craig has definitely been my favourite. He's such a great actor and played him as a real human Bond rather than an untouchable super hero . Made it all 3x more emotional. Think you'll appreciate it all when you've found your head space . Ps I'm cool with Cavill 🙂
Well done Jenny Penny. Mission completed. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty in watching all cannon and non canon Bond films and Bond spoof films. 😢🥇🌟
I didn't see this ending coming either. Very bold & unexpected. This film is the best contemporary bond film I've seen due to the multiple gut punches of emotional tragedy, love & sacrifice. Watching all the bond films with you has been a terrific experience! Thanks Jen! 👏 👏 👍
Well, I liked the few minutes where Ana De Armas showed up 😅 She looks fantastic kicking butt and is super cute in her interactions with Bond. Paloma needs a spin off movie with Wei Lin and any other surviving Bond girls. Very excited for Ana's John-Wickiverse movie Ballerina after her badassery here.
Her lines about her training were instantly one of the most iconic in the franchise. How they made it into the movie is hilarious. She was suggested for the role by Craig, who had worked with her on the movie "Knives Out." She began diligently training for the role, but was rather new to action sequences and not quite confident. She mentioned this every day to producer Greg Wilson, Cubby Broccoli's son-in-law, until one day she asked him, "I'm just not sure. Do you think three weeks training is enough?" He looked up from a draft of the script and said, "You know what? That line is going in the movie."
When you understand the DC era is a re-boot, rather than a continuation with lots of dubious continuity issues like the SC, GL, RM, TD and PB era, then it's not really a death. It's just how they handled the reboot. They gave up on trying to do continuity in favour of reboots. Reboots give a huge license to do what you like. I'd like a reboot that sets the movies in the original era.
I just watched this movie for the first time earlier today, and I loved it! It's definitely in my top 5 bond movies of all time, and possibly my top 3... Anyway, thanks for doing all these reactions and inspiring me to finish the Daniel Craig films, Jen!
Yup. Same feeling at the end of the movie when I went to see it in theaters. Me and my friend we just froze, not able to comment, completely speechless. But, as you said, as much as I hate the fact that he dies, this movie is just sooooo good! Thank you for the journey. Can't wait to see what this franchise will give us next!
AYYEEE CONGRATULATIONS ON FINISHING ALL THE BOND FILMS! I Hoped You Enjoyed the film, fun fact, Billie Eilish is THE YOUNGEST Singer to ever sing a bond theme as she was 17 when she sang it, ALSO Thanks for watching Never Say Never Again! I've sat in the theater watching this just like you here...gasping with disbelief..."they can't do that, they can't do that...oh my god THEY DID!!!" The whole place was dead silent and then the end "His name was Bond, James Bond" and Louis Armstrongs' song from the George Lazenby film gave me the rest...needed some time to process that afterwards, but even after 5-6 times viewing I am still shedding tears at the end...
OHMSS is my favorite Bond movie, and if you listen they soundtrack frequently uses sound clues from it... it's a brilliant touch for a movie very much like that one to call back to it, even though it's not popular.
Bond is (like diamonds) for ever. And so are you, Jennypenny! Thanx for sharing all the champagne and bowties. We've had all the time in the world. Time to cry.
Lol you realize that the people who watched Roger Moore playing James Bond SEVEN times in tbe movies said exactly the same thing as you did.."Moore waa perfect and his run was THE Bond, start to finish I loved the connected story we got, incuding the ending!
I see you had the appropriate freak out at "We have all the time in the world" .. me jump off the couch "NO YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!" The theme is spot on perfect for the movie. One of the best. "I'll just be a minute" DAMMIT!!! "You have all the time in the world." DAMMIT AGAIN!!! To James.
Jennypenny, it's been an absolute pleasure rewatching this entire franchise with you. I like how you watched the series in order of release, and seeing your reactions and hearing your thoughts and above all else watching your awesome enthusiasm has made this journey extremely enjoyable. By all means, when you're up to it, I'd love to see a retrospective video about your experience of watching the series, what you knew about James Bond before you saw the films through popular culture and how you'd like to see the franchise proceed. I drank a bottle of champagne while watching your reaction to celebrate your hard work. Thank you very much.
What an accomplishment, Jen! Thanks for watching ALL the films, including the non-canon films, like your favorite the original Casino Royale. LOL I sure am interested to know what you're overall assessment is of the whole series.

I’m so happy you picked up on the On His Majesty’s Secret Service reference at the beginning. I remember being in the theater and hearing that line and the song and thinking “oh shit”.

Thanks Jen for your reactions, emotions! Happy to have you at Bond fandom! That was quite a ride and this one especially. Yes, waiting for your Bond films review video.
When i saw the clip from the movie where he says "We Have All the Time in the World" and i heard the Louis Armstrong song was in the soundtrack before the film came out, i started having flasbacks to when i was a kid and my memories of tracy bond and then as an adult with vesper lind, plus all the other unlucky girls in his life, and all i could say was "oh no not madeline now". But i did not see the twist ending coming.
Went to see at the cinema when it came out for my birthday and couldn't believe at the end that a Bond movie had me in tears...I know the ending has split opinion but I thought it was a beautiful way to finish the Craig Bond story
People were literally sobbing at the theater when I saw this. Can’t say I wasn’t one of them. Daniel Craig is the best Bond ever. Hopefully the franchise will continue.
Daniel Craig is "the best Bond ever" ..No he was the most recent James Bond sure. But Sean Connery Roger Moore Timothy Dalton, And absolutely Pierce Brosnan ..hell even George Lazenby is better.
Let us raise a glass to both Daniel Craig for doing such a great job AND to Jen for watching the entire Bond series (including the 1967 Casino Royale). We are now all Bond out until the next installment. Until then, there are the many off-shoots that perhaps Jen can watch. Maybe the Flint movies (Our Man Flint and In Like Flint) starring James Coburn. I am sure others can have more suggestions as well.
Right there with you, Jen. I loved this movie, but I was shook by that ending. While I grew up on the tail end of the Moore era and loved Brosnan, I appreciated them all, but the Craig era is really where my heart lies now. His films are like a retelling of the entire franchise that preceded him, with familiar but slightly different elements. I feel like the ending was earned and satisfying, but tragic. I would love to hear your perspective on the series as a whole. I also really loved the song and score from this film. One of the best.
First off...Congrats on doing the entire run of Bond films!!! They have been so much fun watching them through your eyes, Jen! You are awesome! - Ana De Armas was not doing all her stunts in heels. Movie magic being what it is, she was in more athletic-type shoes that were CGI'd out and replaced with the heels. I just learned that a few days ago! I loved her in this so much!!! I wanted more of her in it! - Rami Malek is as creepy as Safin, the villain. Such a change of pace from Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody. He and Daniel Craig got along like a house on fire on set. | - You might have missed it, but when they were at Q's flat, he said that he was waiting for someone and that he was expecting "him" soon. I am pretty sure that this is because Ben Whishaw, who plays Q, is openly gay and asked if his character could be gay as well. This was an excellent little touch to his character. - This is still a very hard-to-watch Bond film because of the ending. It makes sense for Craig's Bond, but...not for Fleming's Bond, who always comes back. Anyway...thanks so much for these reactions.
It seems like only a month ago that I started this journey through the James Bond universe with Jen. So sad to see it end, but I know there are many great journeys with Jen to come!
WHAT. A. JOURNEY. Amazing what you've done here doing all of these - just tremendous work Jen! Loved the whole of this wild epic ride that you've been on
When Brosnan started, he was the seasoned agent and Dench was the new boss. Then with Craig, Dench was the seasoned boos and he was just promoted to "00" status, so the Craig era was sort of a reboot itself.

But maybe he shouldn't.
Congratulations! You are the only TH-camr who saw all the Bond movies, the rest only saw a few.
United Artist: We are planning a spinoff about Paloma!
Wai Lin & Jinx: Oh like we never heard of that before!!!
They will do another Bond. This is a 5 movie Bond from beginning to end.
Agreed!
22:07, one of the best parts to No Time To Die. The second scene between M and Bond, listen to the music.
Another WONDERFUL review! I even felt your tears! Man o man. I bet that the daughter will be a new 00 in years to come. We'll see!
Your fangirl reactions to every Bond film have been great fun. Well done.
Thanks for taking us on this ride with you, Jen. Was truly a blast. 💥
Thank you Jen for taking us all on this amazing journey with you! Until the next chapter…MoneyJenny forever✌🏻😃
Thanks for being along on the ride with me!
The full gadget set of the iconic Astin Martin being deployed in the pre-credit sequence is pretty dope too, and a great callback to Bonds of yore.
The Poison Garden is a reference to the novel of Dr No, but left out of the movie - we’ve looped back!
Thanks for being along for the ride Eric!
I forgot how badass Ana de Armas was in this one, especially in that gown and heels!
Thanks for being along for the ride Tom! :)
@@jenmurrayxo Ride-Or-Die, I'm always here for You, Jen!👍
Thanks for being along for the ride with me! :)
Well done Jenny Penny. Mission completed. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty in watching all cannon and non canon Bond films and Bond spoof films. 😢🥇🌟
The best bond reactions on TH-cam!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’ll always call him Bondy because of you 🇬🇧
I didn't see this ending coming either.
She did a lot of action also in "Ghosted" with Chris Evans
I was so glad to see this in 2021 in the theater. The movie was only delayed 18 months due to COVID🙁🙁🙁
You made it Jennypenny! Congrats. You did a wonderful job on these.
When he told Madeline, "We have all the time in the world." that is also what he told his wife in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Yes, I mentioned that when they said it in the car at the beginning of the movie too!
Sorry, I got distracted during the first part of the video, so I may have missed that. Won't happen again.
You have all the time. 🙄
Thank you for going through the Bond movies. I enjoyed watching them with you very much. 👍😊
Loved all your bond reactions. So real.
My Late father loved that film, and it meant a lot to me you were able to see it (I'm the one who suggested it) ALSO IF Rumors are to be taken seriously THEY ARE CONSIDERING Setting the next bond film in the 1960s! (ALSO I DO A MEAN No Time To Die Karaoke Cover ;) ), AND For the record, the Watch joke is MY FAVORITE Daniel Craig Bond Joke XD ANYWAYS KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK! CHEERS! :D
Craig was perfect and his run was THE Bond, start to finish. I loved the connected story we got, including the ending!
Lol you realize that the people who watched Roger Moore playing James Bond SEVEN times in tbe movies said exactly the same thing as you did.."Moore waa perfect and his run was THE Bond, start to finish I loved the connected story we got, incuding the ending!
@@robertsmith3883 I was never a Moore fan, but I thought no one would ever come close to Connery...
@@WeirdTangent That's the point no Roger Moore never even tried to be like Connery
I've really loved watching your Bond journey. It became the highlight of the week for me. Thanks Jenny Penny.
I see you had the appropriate freak out at "We have all the time in the world" .. me jump off the couch "NO YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!"
The theme is spot on perfect for the movie. One of the best.
"I'll just be a minute" DAMMIT!!!
"You have all the time in the world." DAMMIT AGAIN!!!
To James.
Bond films are the coolest thing on Earth.
11:28 Fun fact: this scene was shot on the Goldeneye Estate - where Ian Fleming wrote the James Bond books.
The ending really got me
Jennypenny, it's been an absolute pleasure rewatching this entire franchise with you.
LOL
I sure am interested to know what you're overall assessment is of the whole series.
Well... the ORIGINAL Casino Royale would be the 1950s TV adaptation in which Bond is an American... not many talk about that, perhaps understandably, but it's free to watch here on YT: th-cam.com/video/ztsXWp0nj2c/w-d-xo.html
Jen, im a Bond fan from childhood. I saw every reaction you made. The best ones of all youtube. Thank you so much!!! Kind regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thanks for being along for the ride with me!
Been holding off on these reactions, time binge watch the entire playlist.
Quite a shock, right? I wasn't expecting that, either! But I love the film - so classily shot, and a great cast. Fascinated where they go from here…
Thank you for all your Bond reactions, Jen, they've been brilliant 🙂
Thanks for being along for the ride!
Don't 😂the champagne 😅. Thanks for your hard work editing, and uploading all your reactions. Hello from Pa USA ❤❤
Sweet reaction.. ❤. I cried like a baby in the opening week of this movie in cinema.. also as i know you are not professional cryier as some reaction ppl are.. your reaction to the end felt real and fresh 🥰
Thanks!
Yes to a video on your Bond overview! Thank you so much. This was a Bond-fan paradise.
"Nice place" you said. That was Goldeneye which was Ian Fleming's home in Jamacia.
Great journey watching all these again with you. It was a blast! Yes, please do a wrap up video with your overall thoughts, a few rankings and your favorite moments.
You're such a sweetheart, Jen. I've loved traveling the Bond journey with you and absolutely feel you were ever bit as invested in James as the love of his life was.
Thanks so much. Please don't feel bad about crying at the end. It made your reactions all the more credible. Well done, m'dear!
I’m so happy you picked up on the On His Majesty’s Secret Service reference at the beginning. I remember being in the theater and hearing that line and the song and thinking “oh shit”.
Yeah I really thought they were gonna kill Madeleine
Thank you for the ride, Jen! Loved to watch your James Bond reactions! Hope the next new one will come out soon! Can't wait to see your reaction of it!
I didn't want this day to come :(
Same lol
Great reaction jen. I've loved all your Bond reactions but the shock at the ending of this one was the best. Thanks for a great time.😊
Jen, thank you for joining in with your own mug as they toasted James.
🥂
Absolutely loved your bond reviews ❤
Let us raise a glass to both Daniel Craig for doing such a great job AND to Jen for watching the entire Bond series (including the 1967 Casino Royale). We are now all Bond out until the next installment. Until then, there are the many off-shoots that perhaps Jen can watch. Maybe the Flint movies (Our Man Flint and In Like Flint) starring James Coburn. I am sure others can have more suggestions as well.
🥂
Oh dang, didn't expect to get something in my eye watching the end. AGAIN. 😢
It seems like only a month ago that I started this journey through the James Bond universe with Jen. So sad to see it end, but I know there are many great journeys with Jen to come!
Thanks for being along for the ride with me!
Thanks Jen you've been a great Bond viewer...yeah that ending...i left the cinema shellshocked and went to the pub!.
Cheers to James 🥂
Makes me tear up every time. Yes, men do have emotions.
WHAT. A. JOURNEY.
Amazing what you've done here doing all of these - just tremendous work Jen!
Loved the whole of this wild epic ride that you've been on
Hi Jen hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Thanks John you too :)
When Brosnan started, he was the seasoned agent and Dench was the new boss. Then with Craig, Dench was the seasoned boos and he was just promoted to "00" status, so the Craig era was sort of a reboot itself.
