A situation I've ran into several times -- leaving a car at a dealer or shop that commonly repairs a special model import car -- I've noticed parts switched by dishonest mechanics with either a friend or their car and basically swapping in their heavily used or bogus OE-COPY parts. I've even seen parts stores opening boxes and swapping parts with lower quality vendors. This is as real a problem as a bogus part with an illegal trademark on it.
I thought there was "Genuine" branded by the vehicle manufacturer such as VW, "OEM" which is branded by the part manufacturer eg Brembo who make the part for VW. This video seems to interchange "Genuine" with "OEM". All parts are "aftermarket".
Are your Prexa PCV chinese also? I have one of the $30 chinese PCV, and your Prexa and they look identical even where the Prexa logo is shaved seems to match the other one. Not knocking on all Chinese stuff though I use ebay a lot. I know China is a huge market for VW and they have a lot of factories.
Apple for Apple the dealership is a rip off. Iam sure be does not agree with the dealership rip off practice. So this is why the fake market is hurting the OEM market

As a videographer for many years, you should have the subjects head above center of the frame,
not just centered in frame
How are you able to source oem VW parts at your store if you’re not a dealer?
