I just love the editing features in PES. The last PES I bought (2018) didn't have a great editor, but I think it was PES 2009 that had an *extensive* editing feature, and I spent hours upon hours going through all the unlicensed English teams and meticulously recreating them. I made all the stadiums look as close as possible to the real thing, right down to seating colours, stand designs, grass designs and advertising boards etc, I recreated everyones kits to match the current seasons kits, I even went to the trouble of drawing the badges, shirt sponsors and kit manufaturers logos for every team. Some looked a bit ropey (Chelseas badge looked shite, for example), but some teams were done so well that you wouldn't be able to tell that they were unlicensed (I made Arsenal look so convincing, my Arsenal supporting mate thought they were one of the real teams). I even created my local team, and designed the shirt sponsor to look like the logo for my mates restaurant in town (he loved it lol) The great thing about it was, every season I could give a few teams a new kit to keep it feeling fresh, and playing in be a pro mode was amazing, as I got to see all the stadiums and kits I'd designed up close, from pitch level. I miss that level of customization!
It’s a shame because PES gameplay is light years ahead of FIFA and has a lot more potential than FIFA. The only reason I play FIFA is because of CL, EL and other licenses.
also, you can add players middway the save into the game, example, you make yourself into the game, but you have a game save and you don't want to start a new save, you can add any player into the game middway the save

Sad thing is in the old fifa's you could choose a sponsorship deal before each season. Choose ticket prices. Upgrade each department like medical and coaches. You could also sim and intervene during matches. Never brought Pes before. But now I may have to as career mode on fifa is just an after thought

All I want for a football career mode is fm19 with the ability to control players during the game. FIFA just needs to combine the game engine of FIFA 19 and the off the pitch gameplay of fm19 and it would be the ideal career mode.

Bayern and Juve are not in FIFA 20, I'm totally pissed of Ultimate Team and the horrible grind in every single mode of Ultimate Team. You are right. But one point for FIFA Career mode is that you can randomize leagues. So, I put a few teams of each South America League to the Football League Two and that the battle begin. In Pes you can only change teams to leagues of the same continent :/
To be honest I'm a bit sick of EA and their game because it has pretty much been the same game, reskinned for the last 4/5 years. But, even though I'm mad at them I believe FIFA is superior because of its gameplay and licensing.(btw I know you can have licensed teams and kits in PS4 and PC in PES).. but still I think I'm not capable of trying PES out because the gameplay is just not smooth lmao.. like, it's so robotic... Very good video! but i can add a few very important things too..!! 1) in Fifa carrer mode you cant search for a good player to buy with the statistics you want because there is no such option. Also if you want to put him as a candidate for your future transfers, he says he needs more scouting and we do not know much about this player, and the stupidity is that there is no option to scout him more. That is really stupid in Fifa. 2) in Pro you can add every year in the hall of fame a favourite player and so you can also have every year a look of his statistics how many times has he played and how many goals has he scored. 3) What i didnt saw in Fifa is that in comparison to Pro , retired players come not back as youth players!! 4) in Fifa you cant play with your Master league Team a friendly game outside of the master league. Or you cant have a training match with your master league team outside master league!!
The way Arsenal defense runs back to their penalty area completely abandoning any midfield balance and giving the Liverpool attackers miles of space is ridiculous. If PES gameplay from the CPU was up to snuff, the game would be amazing.
Pes would be so much more fun if the coach mode actually gave realistic results. I watched 4 games between Man City and Hobro, where I hopefully expected Man City to dominate the game completely. But none of the games City won with more than 1 goal. And the possession and shoots on target where almost the same.

I am new to pes, I came over from fifa series, my first pes is 2020 and I love it!!! Not only does pes look better but it plays like real football, fifa is like a money hungry arcade game that never improves and you can literally score 10 point per game in fifa, it's not rewarding at all unless you spend 100s of real money on stupid packs, in pes you really have to earn your goals just like In real life. I also like fifa because of team licenses but pes has that resolved with great options files you can get from pes univers.
I have been playing Master League since 2013...when you could customize pretty much everything...because of the licensing issues...like creating a player to put into you squad with the stats of a Ronaldo or Messi.
you know, in the PES ceommunity year to year we moan and complain about various aspects on Master League. But this video is an eye opener in terms of how lucky we really should be.
Pes will always be the better football simulator. FIFA will always be more fun to play against other people. If you're all about career modes, then Master League is where you should be. Just get patches for the licensing issues they are readily available online
You missed one insane feature of pes. The retired players or who will retire in a year or two like deco inesta xavi torress lampard ronaldo messi etc grow in the youth academy. In this way u get enough time to play with those players when u start from any original lineup or weak team.
Since I see so many people criticizing FIFA I got to say something in their favor:- Since there are less features in FIFA it is less hectic. Imagine if you have a such attention to detail then you will be overwhelmed with understanding what every feature stands for which is quite a hard job. I am open to suggestions proving me wrong.
Both games are bad: Fifa career mode ain't nothing special and the game is not being developed by EA since 2015 Pes gameplay isn't good at all compared to previous games, defending in Pes 2019 is very hard especially against the AI and the game rewards you for playing bad football lol. Both were good is 2013 but since they both became really bad at all levels. That's my opinion feel free to think/say whatever you want)

The FIFA "bug" is not a bug. It's so you can have different tactics for whether or not you're in full attack mode or full defensive mode or anything in-between. It's not FIFA's fault that everyone is too lazy to set up all 5 modes; especially when everyone bitches that they want ultimate control.
It’s all about the demand. People have bought FIFA games blindly for so long now to the point that EA doesn’t bother adding any more significant features, for they don’t have to attract any costumer. PES, on the other hand, hasn’t been as successful as FIFA, which means that they actually have to try to add amazing features to attract new costumers. So if we want to improve FIFA games, we have to boycott them.
I think I'll be buying pes 19 then. It seems that Konami have heard everything that FIFA buyers are whinging about and gone "look its all over here come have a look".

What about transfer market which is broken, I am a huge fan of PES but transfer market is broken as well as players dont communicate with you like for example in FIFA via mails

All very good but it has an awful re-gen system where it just puts a retired player in your youth academy so you could have a 17 year old julio cesar for example it makes it unplayable for me

I am new to pes, I came over from fifa series, my first pes is 2020 and I love it!!! Not only does pes look better but it plays like real football, fifa is like a money hungry arcade game that never improves and you can literally score 10 point per game in fifa, it's not rewarding at all unless you spend 100s of real money on stupid packs, in pes you really have to earn your goals just like In real life. I also like fifa because of team licenses but pes has that resolved with great options files you can get from pes univers.

I have been playing Master League since 2013...when you could customize pretty much everything...because of the licensing issues...like creating a player to put into you squad with the stats of a Ronaldo or Messi.
Good video but it's ashame in PES that players peak at 24 and some retire at 28.

They reach the peak at 28 (a bit unrealistic), but they don't retire at 28

Pes will always be the better football simulator. FIFA will always be more fun to play against other people. If you're all about career modes, then Master League is where you should be. Just get patches for the licensing issues they are readily available online

You missed one insane feature of pes. The retired players or who will retire in a year or two like deco inesta xavi torress lampard ronaldo messi etc grow in the youth academy. In this way u get enough time to play with those players when u start from any original lineup or weak team.

Since I see so many people criticizing FIFA I got to say something in their favor:-
Since there are less features in FIFA it is less hectic. Imagine if you have a such attention to detail then you will be overwhelmed with understanding what every feature stands for which is quite a hard job.
I am open to suggestions proving me wrong.
Both games are bad:
Fifa career mode ain't nothing special and the game is not being developed by EA since 2015
Pes gameplay isn't good at all compared to previous games, defending in Pes 2019 is very hard especially against the AI and the game rewards you for playing bad football lol.
Both were good is 2013 but since they both became really bad at all levels.
That's my opinion feel free to think/say whatever you want)

The problem of master league and become a legend is that they didn't evolve since Pes 2012, they even deleted things from old pes games.

Stat Report and Team Role are crazy. Those are the details we want from Fifa Career mode. License bothers me a little, but I should try PES again.

i just hate the way the other teams scored against you its just like you got no control over your defense while the versus is passing inside your box until they score,also signing players whom retired from football at young age, as i did with d.larsson from sweeden,vercourte,carthy donaldson and so on...

The FIFA "bug" is not a bug. It's so you can have different tactics for whether or not you're in full attack mode or full defensive mode or anything in-between. It's not FIFA's fault that everyone is too lazy to set up all 5 modes; especially when everyone bitches that they want ultimate control.
And still, Pes master league isn't that good, we complained a lot and Konami will rework the master league soon.
To be honest, i dont believe FIFA have ever had a customized player model cutscene, hinting on the fact why they dont have customizable managers?

It’s all about the demand. People have bought FIFA games blindly for so long now to the point that EA doesn’t bother adding any more significant features, for they don’t have to attract any costumer. PES, on the other hand, hasn’t been as successful as FIFA, which means that they actually have to try to add amazing features to attract new costumers. So if we want to improve FIFA games, we have to boycott them.
I think I'll be buying pes 19 then. It seems that Konami have heard everything that FIFA buyers are whinging about and gone "look its all over here come have a look".
