Great video man. Its really helpful to see someone that's really good play in your elo and give a great explanation at that same time. Been watching your video for awhile and it really helps me stay calm in games and treat it as a learning opportunity instead of getting frustrated. Thanks!
i just recently got into league and i really appreciate your videos! im improving day by day watching you break down your thought process in these games
Your videos and commentary have taught me so much! Would love to see you include champ select in these videos to hear your thoughts about that critical part of the game!
Watching your streams has help me become more tiltproof. I experience the same frustration in many of my games that you did yesterday, where your losing sidelanes let the enemy roam and gank you. You were punished for your teammates' mistakes. You got pretty tilted in the moment the way I did after those types of game. But then, you pulled it back and what you said stuck with me: "I know how the game works. I shouldn't complain. If I played that better I would have won." And that is just how I have had to think. I need to keep my mind on how I should be playing above all else. I went on an 8 game lose stream due to my teammates letting me down more than usual on top of the games I played badly. The truth is, I should have been to carry many those of games with my 1-man lead. I find myself asking after games I lost. "If Shok was in my chair, could he have won?", and the answer is nearly always yes. I don't have your challenger level skills but knowing it is possible is enough. I have something to work towards in my own skills to overcome those games. I will be blunt and honest and say that you aren't perfect with your tilting on stream and at first there were times where I played alongside you while you were tilting and it tilted me as well. But then I keep seeing you carry yourself out of the tilting mental each time and it inspires me every time. It teaches me that I need to focus on my own skills and my own mistakes above anything else. I understand this isn't the most flattering subject, but I wanted to let you know that even the lower moments on your stream have been helpful for me. One of the reasons I keep coming back to your streams is that you model what a player should be, both mechanics and mindset.
A quick question: I see that you (most times) have counter picked their mid laner. Are these cases isolated or do you do something in the lobby that magically makes all low elo players to swap with you and give you last pick?
I've uploaded every game I've played (at least as of these recordings). I normally do try swap but I don't do anything special to get my role like I don't link my opgg or anything. I guess maybe I've just been a bit lucky?
Hello shok! Amazing video, I've seen from another video or yours that you said you do some kind of stretching every day so as to prevent wrist problems, can you link a video or smth so we can see those exercises?
It's linked in the description of my mechanics guide, but I'll put the link here in case anyone else is looking for it: th-cam.com/video/EiRC80FJbHU/w-d-xo.html
Like Shok has talked about in a few of these videos, you can use TP to generate a solo lead pretty hard through back timings and wave management - denying enemies from crashing waves, getting a back and also catch your own wave, set up a freeze etc, nevermind how much gold and xp you get from sidelaning which is way worse without tp. You can also use TP to get back onto the map to get a roam off, which can be much more valuable than just ignite. I think unless you have a very particular goal for your champion matchup you should not take ignite. An example would be ignite garen, where you take ignite to push the QER combo over the edge of what is reasonable to play into in many matchups. Same with assassins who can take ignite like Zed or Fizz, if you know that ignite makes a difference between killing and not killing for an average case early lane all-in you can choose to play for that but you HAVE to generate a big lead from it otherwise you lose so much by not getting to play proper splitpush. I'd say often it's just easier even on a burst champ to play with TP, and like we see in this video if you get strong you oneshot anyways and now you oneshot and you have TP.
Punish hard with auto W auto level 1, QW trades level 2. Level 3 onwards focus on dodging his Qs (at least one of them) and play for WEQ trades when he is on CD. At 6 just be careful of wasting your ult, as long as you can dash away you should be fine.
Hello. Maybe it's not your type of content but I want to ask you if Can you talk about professional league of legend. How can you be pro, how the system works, the contracts, your profession career ext, I think it would be really interesting because not a lot of professional gamers talk about their career or maybe I didn't found the infos
hey hello my man i hope you did not forget your ever best friend :) its okay if u dont remember me but i llove your vids keep it up i have a lot of things to learn again but thanks to your videos its gonna be easy have a good day sir :)
@@ShokLeague Ok makes sense, but I've found that with champions that can get close to you, the time of pulling the 2 chains, you also suffer a lot of damage. Not as bursty.
so rare to find someone like you who can honestly analyze their own mistakes instead of making up coping excuses
This series is so satisfying and just shows how amazing fundamentals and focus can win even games that feel doomed. Clean LB bro
7:15 I'm hearing: "Nocturne also is good at sex and the sidelane" HAHAHA

Yone after nerfs with defensive runes destroying Leblanc and other team and people say hes is overnerfed HAHA. He was beyond broken now he is strong
Hey Shok, do you ever take ignite on someone ? I know that TP is OP, but isnt ignite a better choice in soloQ? especially low elo on high burst champ.

I think if you don't know how to use TP well then ignite is gonna be better, but if you can use TP well I think it's a way stronger summoner
how would you recommend playing laningphase against zed with leblanc

around minute 23 you say that Jhin as a champ 'does some stuff'. What stuff does Jhin do?
Makes me upset

Double chain? why?
Double chain is the best gank setup and the most total damage (because of all the autos you get to weave in)
