We here in US never acknowledged the passing of Judith Durham. That is sad for she is a voice of pure velvet. Sing to the angels, Judith. They and all of heaven will be joyous. As we are when we play your songs like Waltzing Matilda.

This song “I Am Australian” is an absolutely wonderful, brilliantly-written song. As for the singer, the late Judith Durham, she was even more wonderful and had the most stunningly beautiful voice I ever heard in my life. “No words are remotely adequate” to describe her says @twinstu50. I know exactly what he means but I’d like to say that I loved her singing more than I can possibly say!.
Just beautiful I still have wonderful memories of listening to Judith and the Seekers sing those wonderful songs on radio here in the West of Ireland when I was a young boy in the Sixties.

I wonder why there are no Cheerleaders here? Perhaps Australian Rules Football is so good, it doesn't need fodder for the men in the audience only intent on barracking for their team.
