- Today I'm going to show you how to record drum parts using the drum pads on your midi keyboard with FPC inside FL Studio.
I'll show you how to setup your pads to record, and then record each part, like snare, kick, hi hat, and toms.
You'll learn how to do things like adjust velocity on notes, quantize notes, and edit the placement of certain notes in the piano roll.

I came to find out how to configure fl studio to allow me to record but you started out playing right away and didnt cover it. I oress record and play but nothing gets recorded

@@gumbsy its pretty easy just choose a new pattern, bring up the fpc to make sure your pads are frontmost and playing audibly, then while on the sequencer i think it's called the playlist in fl, just press record, you play your audition and once you press stop, your recorded track should show up on the next available track

Im havin trouble getting my drum pad to play the sound at the same time i press it yk how to fix that??? I thought i did ☠️
Not fpc how do you route samples from slice x to pads
you gotta name the slice markers, then double click the marker name, right click > Trigger Note. Don't select anything, just press the pad while you're on that Trigger Note menu. Works the exact same way in Edison too.
I’m on step where we click “map notes for entire bank” when I click my drum pad does nothing l
If you go all the way through they will all be mapped. And then make sure you have sounds loaded in FPC.
@@ProductionDen is it anyway to use the midi on the channel rack ? I tried the MPC mode but that doesn’t work
