ive got the mk3 would you know why my keys for the piano are so low where you can barely hear even at full volume but the pads are loud at a normal or even lower volume?
@@nacholasosa1544 Go to Options -> MIDI Settings -> select your mpk mini 3 -> Link note on velocity to -> Press the little button which looks like a line with 2 balls at each end -> adjust to your liking

For those who had trouble with getting their keys and the pads playing at the same time. You gotta press the BANK A/B button, so it will turn RED. Like this comment so others who had the struggle will know. Thank you.

Quick question, If i want to load your template from another tutorial to the MPK professional editor, none of my values change for some reason. I tried selecting different combinations when selecting the input/output but no difference. Everything works fine in FL Studio though

You should download the akai professional editor I think that’s how you do it
At 4:28 I'm stuck. The third one on output doesn't say Sync 1 on mine. Doesn't say anything. That's what's throwing me off

same problem, A bank and B bank are swapped round and also seem to hit multiple drum sounds for one pad. did you fix it?

I was also facing the same problem, when we click on map notes we need to press buttons accordingly in the way we want to map.

I tried what you did in the tutorial as well as a lot of other suggestions, but my pads still won't line up in fpc.

I assume like me you have an Mk3, hes showing an Mk2. They are very different in layout. Hes on 1 and 2 for the channels and it defaults its self to 1 and 10.

@@steezy5230 So I am new and lost but I have a WHAT kinda answer for you... on the left of the controller theres a "full level" button. That makes it play full as if you are slamming the buttons. Seems to be a binding for just the pads. I imagine theres a toggle.

you have to go to the arrow where he clicked to map the notes for the entire bank and where it says layouts, select launchkey

I’m stuck on how to make it where my mpk’s drum plays the FPC and FL keys Play the keys , I followed the directions exactly how they where placed in the video , how do I fix this problem? By the way , Very good video with great pacing 👍🏾

Dank Sinatra I set program one settings as
Pad Midi channel 1
Keyboard Midi channel 2
And Then I set Program 2 settings as
Pad Midi Channel 2
Keyboard Midi Channel 1
So basically, If the piano is playing on the drums AND the keyboard INSTEAD OF just the keyboard then I just switch to the other program

@@Mr.ZombieRIPper the only way i seem to be able to play the keyboard and drumpad is if i set the pad to channel 2 and the keyboard to channel 3???? and when i try to get them to play in "tangent" by doing the alt+down arrow way, it makes the beat pad also play the FL keys? i tried setting it up as channel 1 ( the keyboard) and i cannot get the keyboard and drumpad to work when either is selected
Dank Sinatra your first mistake is changing anything to channel 3

When im on the fpc part and are maping my entire bank. The pads arent going in the chronological order as it shows in your video. Whaaats going on?
