I love, LOVE this one personally. Projects and lasts quite well on my skin. Very dessert-y and addictive
Tried JM in a fancy store. Sampled on wrist. It disappeared in 60 minutes. Salesperson said you could layer it. Not for $350 ... ever.
I like this fragrance, perfect for a date night or close encounter. Something that's not meant to be worn for an extended period of time.
I consider myself lucky seen as the cologne intense line by Jo Malone really projects and lasts on my skin.
I do really enjoy your reviews, I've been watching for some time. I recently purchased 4 from your current line up. Haze and Haze Black small amazing to me. Throughout this year I intend on purchasing 10ml bottles of your full line up. Would love to see you produce a Cardamom forward fragrance, it's one of my favourite notes.
It was an airport purchase for me. Loved it, but once I got home, it’s too sweet for me, and the dry down goes a bit “messy”. I then spray a cheap, but good vanilla oud perfume (Raghba) over it.
aaron, PLEASE do some more work like your original - they were fantastic - celestia, violet delerium, filth/filth xxl, the original patchoulli noire , cholate rose and oud
if you redid these i would restock all of them

Give Nasomatto Nudiflorum a bash Aaron! A very challenging, indolic scent. Love, or hate!
Jo Malone has some great perfumes, you guys have to try these 4, Bronze Wood & leather, Mirka and Tonka, Wood sage &" sea salt, English oak & hazelnut.
They all seem to be marketed as cologne or cologne intense they smell nice but don’t project or last on my skin . Another great review Aaron.
I’m a big fan of Jo Malone her perfume is great and she is a very uplifting person. I do agree the tissue paper looks messy it looks a bit like a inside of coffin lol. The company and its products haven’t died yet!. I wonder if it comes in a hearse or a undertakers private ambulance 😆.
I love the majority of her perfumes actually and have many. But what I really don’t like is that she still after all this time sells them for that price when everyone has the exact same complaint about them not lasting well at ALL. Some are quite shocking how quickly they disappear. Either change it and make the fragrance last longer or take the price down. And this is coming from a Jo malone fan.
I recently sampled this and I strongly agree that it is a western interpretation of an oud scent, ALSO it doesn’t perform well like you said but it smells really nice to me. If you made a fragrance with that certain theme of a western oud fragrance I would totally buy it. Especially bc I know you will make it project and last longer. This one definitely does not. Also I love you niche style fragrances you should definitely consider making more like that! I kno it may be difficult but some of us would love it. Your mass appealing fragrances are a home run for sure. But I do find myself looking for those interesting yet not too offensive scents! Currently Luna is my favorite that I have had a chance to get my hands on! Really love that the oud is easily detectable. Others like daddy and forbidden are beautiful and I see what the oud is meant to do but it gets lost in the background. I like to really smell the oud !
I would love to see you review Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois. It's such a fascinating creation and really unique!
"Flat" is a great way to describe it. I've always said "very synthetic." I've tried maybe a dozen. One or two were nice, but very difficult to get past how artificial they are and lacking depth..."flat." Always thought it was a peculiar brand. A local hair salon has many of them as a staple fragrance. They also got rid of all their private blend Tom Ford recently, don't know why.
I bought this fragrance for my mother and it smells wonderful on her. And surprisingly, performs really well on her - lasts all day and projects really well for a few hours-unlike my BdC parfum, haha 😅
What’s Bdc? Is this a well known abbreviation? I never understand how people abbreviate so many things now and just expect everyone else to know what they mean 😂

I'll Give This A Try, But Yes Lately I've Noticed Most Brands Are Made For Summer Wear, As You Need That Body Heat To Radiate And Project The Scent.
I Mostly Prefer Strong Scents That Make Me Stand Out, Two Foot Radius From Me
The only problem with Jo Malone is their projection. It’s expensive but it doesn’t last long.
I miss the less complimentary reviews 😅

This is basically a clone/inspiration of Rose d’Arabie from Armani Prive collection. I have a feeling Aaron would give Armani a better review.

You should do a line for more expressive/artistic ideas you have. You can make less of them and mark it at higher prices points. And call it as a “private/personal collection”

spent time sampling this one last week and came to the same conclusion - smells nice but phew over-priced. Still had whiffs on my tester strip the next day. Passed on it in the end, may need to get a decant to really test it

Jo Malone always tend to wear “thin.” The fragrances are nice, but weak. It’s a brand for those who never want to offend. I’ve also never seen a box! They always seem to stock and sell the bottles loose without packaging here. Great from an eco-friendly perspective, but it does seem more like a gimmick to save costs on packaging. I don’t keep boxes, so I’m torn. But the thought of all these loose bottles floating around getting scratched and banged up before I buy them isn’t super appealing to me.
I almost thought I got knockout when I unbox it and saw the bottle in the messy black paper

Aaron, what would you add to Jo Malone products to fix the longevity issue her line has? I've always wanted to know
I love a lot of Jo's products but the longevity tends to be trash unfortunately, even the cologne "intense" line that sis supposed to project and last longer dont last much longer than the regular line. For instance Scarlet poppy is one f her best from the intense line and yet it lasts about an hour more than the "signature" line. I'm hoping to get carbon/carbon lotion during your next drop (it will be my first tme getting your stuff), how would you suggest someone use carbon to make her products last on the skin? would you suggest using the carbon spray or the lotion?

That everyone has had the exact same complaint for years and years about the awful and shocking lasting power on ALL her fragrances. Even the “intense” ones that aren’t a instense at all. And she has never done a thing to improve on that huge issue. She should have either fixed the lasting power issue or taking the prices down to be honest. And that’s coming from a big Jo malone product fan.
Jo Malone’s fragrances are appealing but they just fade to nothing.

I Love this smell. Unfortunately the Performance super weak. Maybe hour or 2, this is overpriced for what it does.

I do love this fragrance though - finally came today and surprisingly got a good 5 - 6 hours out of it, but didn't project as much as you'd expect at this price point.

Nice smelling, if not mind blowing, overpriced for what it is, and with very poor performance.
