I love Toy Boy and Zaharoff Rose but my favorite rose scent is Cartier Declaration D'un Soir. I think it's amazing!
Declaration d'Un Soir is one of the best masculine rose fragrance for me.
I love Toy Boy. Definitely not a feminine rose. Its a fresh watery rose. Definitely not your typical designer. Very unique with niche quality imo. I'm surprised it doesn't get more hype in the community being as though its so unique for a designer

100% agree on Toy Boy. I was literally stunned by how great a fragrance it turned out to be. The silly bottle had put me off, but then I was sent a sample of it-completely changed my view. Another strong rose scent you might tackle is Bond No. 9's My New York-it can be reserved for special occasions but is not so overwhelming that it can't be an everyday scent.
Declaration d'Un Soir makes me feel like a man. I love it during summer evenings or rainy autumn (spring) days. It is so sensual yet dominant. Hermann A Mes Cotes Me Paraissait Une Ombre from ELDO is for me smoother and heavier version of Toy Boy. I hope these two will remain in my collection as long as it is possible.
I've been on a big rose kick lately. Toy Boy is definitely among my favorites. Also BDK - Nuit de Sable, Jusbox - Siren & Sailors, Electimuss - Rodanthe, Initio - Atomic Rose, and Argos - Adonis Awakens.
Nuit de Sable is soooo amazing!! Underrated!

My favourite rose fragrance rn is Dunhill's Arabian Desert. I do not have many rose scents, but this is what i really love.
My brother tried Byredo’s Rose of No Man’s Land from my collection. He fell in love with it so I gifted it to him and he wears it all the time. Far more than any of his other masculine fragrances. And it smells great on him! Give it a try, guys :)
I have tried a few rose fragrances and own Portrait Of A Lady and Promise. Promise is my absolute favorite rose fragrance, and one of my favorite perfumes period. Noir De Noir is also another amazing perfume which I hope to eventually own.
I love Noir de Noir, to me it has one of the best dry downs ever!
My favorite Rose is definitely POAL, in second place a very underrated one in my opinion: PDM Akaster, those two are intoxicating to me. I NEED that Habit Rouge! Thanks for the video Chris!!!
Habit Rouge is perfection. 3 more of my favourite rose are Amouage Imitation Man, Guerlain Santal Royal & MFK L'Homme A La Rose
I'm no perfume connoisseur, but I recently bought an air fresher that is rose scented. Got hooked on the smell and immediately wondered if there were rose men perfumes. Will definitely buy some of these. THANKS.
Declaration dun soir is my fave rose scent. Too bad it's discontinued and super expensive to find now.

Gris Dior ist my favorite Rose bssed scent and on my skin the Green elements shine though a lot so the rose is bslanced out. Definitely a great one if you aren't scared of rose in perfumes.

I recently purchased Toy Boy. If you have a big collection and no masculine based Rose you are missing out. I started with Lattafa Amerhyst which is an inexpensive Rose Oud combo. Toy Boy I prefer. Only problem my wife likes to wear it too 😅.
Roses on Ice had been a fun discovery, but can't say it's an element I look for in a fragrance

Been really digging toy boy recently wasn't keen at first but given a chance the dry down is absolutely stunning! Another good one is Molton browns absolute rose I use it for layers with other fragrances good tool to have in your collection in fact Molton brown have some hidden little gems give them a check chris ✌🏻🙏🏽

D&G one mysterious night is another rose oud banger fragrance and for price its amazing. Performance is solid
A nice winter cheapie I can always rock with is Vince Camuto Smoked Oud. I guess the scalpers have snatched it up lately and it's harder to find at its old price but you might get lucky.
Thanks heaven for including Tom Ford Noir D Noir it is a beast it literally can turn heads its a room filler and uplifts the evening.
Love the review/recommends. Rose Noir is good but man it's strong. For me, it's an hour or more before I can actually enjoy it. It starts off as strong as furniture polish im my opinion. For that reason, I prefer Rose All Dae, also by Gallagher as an everyday wear. ❤👍

I had Lumiere. I never understood why it got discontinued. Pretty unisex.
Another great rose fragrance is Les Sables Roses by LV, absolutely blew my mind.

Rose can absolutely add that touch of mysteriousness. But maybe dial it back to Eau Capitale instead POAL on the first go? 😄 Signature Rose a great call. Was just wearing Aramis 900 yesterday too! Definitely worth a pickup before it vanishes forever. Not a grandma smell I promise. More like a great grandma. 😂 Otherwise, go for Rose Malaki from Chopard. 😉 Here's to memorable bowel movements! 🌹

I definitely get the "smells like a grandma" association with rose fragrances. Moschino toyboy is a strong rose and clove/cinnamon fragrance, if it wasn't for the clove note, it could be mistaken by a woman fragrance. I have Bade'e al oud Amethyst and it has rose but mixed with oud, rubber and something like gasoline.
It (Toy Boy)also has a lot of pink pepper
To me, the 3 best rose fragrances for men are Habit Rouge Guerlain, Cartier dun Soir... and ... the amazing A La Rose by Maison Francis Kurkdjian

The woodsiness in Toy Boy reminded me so much of Royal Oud. Maybe it’s just me-but I picked up zero rose and all cedar
Initio’s Atomic Rose has to definitely be up there on this list. It’s a bomb with amazing performance (atleast on my skin)
Infini rose is a fraction of the price and lasts longer, smells spot on to atomic rose.

I don’t get much Rose off my skin in Portrait of a Lady, it’s mostly Patchouli. And Amber Oud is great too, but again not too much rose. I don’t like rose Oud fragrances and my favorite roses are Toy Boy, MFK rose rose L’homme, and Zaharoff.
Chris how about the very affordable Perles de Lalique (by Nathalie Lorson)? Similar to Portrait of a Lady, but in fact came before it. Some people speculate it's likely an inspiriation for it. I have smelled Portrait of a Lady but not Perles de Lalique yet, very curious about it.
The One Mysterious Night is a great rose fragrance as well as the original Intense Cafe and The Dua brand's A Rose Affair

@@jkfsh9582 it's my number 2 out of the 3 exclusive editions of The One from Dolce and gabbana with Luminous Night being my favorite mysterious Night has just enough of a middle eastern vibe to make it good for those who have not tried anything from that realm

Also considering Cartier declaration D’un soir. This will be the last bottle of my small collection. Something to round it all off

Toyboy is niche quality by designer imo. Not blind buy safe but for me one of the best on the list. I also own Noir de Noir, Viking and Oud Satin mood but you are forgetting one fragrance imo…Initio’s Atomic Rose simply stunning jammy Rose.

Have you sampled Rose de Russie from Tom Ford. I discovered it recently and was pretty impressed. Cafe rose i believe is discontinued from TF but thought it was nice at the time of sampling.
And ive been meaning to get to our initio stockist for atomic rose.

The only fragrance with rose that I like is Northern Cardinal by Zoologist. They’re always so soft and a powdery type of floral. Not my thing

MFK L’Homme A La Rose and Oud Silk Mood Extrait.
I still haven’t found a rose fragrance that isn’t feminine. I thought Zarahoff Signature Rose smelled very good but also very feminine. My concerned fiancé asked me why my shirt smelled like women’s perfume when I walked through the door wearing it lol. I tried Lyric Man but that smelled like a 90 year old grandma (Roses + baby powder). I’m still on the lookout.
Im with you on Lyric Man. My current rose lineup is Argos Adonis Awakens, Memo Paris French Leather, Moschino Toy Boy, Maison Alhambra Rose Petals (TF Rose Prick clone, mostly for layering), and Emor London Oud #1. I also have tried Amouage Incense Rose and loved it on paper but was too dark on my skin, YMMV.
