Perhaps because I've been on a Cypress kick, I have absolutely enjoyed this scent. I got the Fragrance and the Body Wash gift set. The body wash helps fill out the fragrance.
I think I’ve only found one Jo Malone that I liked - mostly because it is light. That works in an office environment for sure. Maybe the best plan is: collect the Tom Hardy photo, skip the fragrance.
Ya know, I tried this and at first it is too intense. But after an hour with a single moderate spray, it actually becomes quite nice. It’s just too heavy at first.
i hope theyre paying alot of money for Tom to be the face of it.....i would have loved to see Toms reaction when he smelt it, probably said he wanted 10 million to even wear it.
Hey Dude, you didn't say much. You can't because you got it for free, thus making you gagged. I bought it for 108 at the duty free, as well as the tonka bean one and two smaller sets of different Jo Malone (s). I would say they are average but cannot really tell whether they are EDP, EDT or parfums. I know they are definitely not the last. If I were more strategic, I should have saved the purchase for a Ganymede, B683, initio side effect, or one of the Rojas like Elysium, Apex eta.
I would like to know why you release videos on Joe Malone if you don't like it. It is unfair speaking always so brutally you continues saying in your videos all JM Cologne intense are synthetic. What do you have against synthetic? It's almost 100 years labs create molecules. If you don't like this brand it would be better for those who love it, not to comment or share reviews. My personal thought. As an Italian I prefer to hear nice things about perfumes. It's not fair what you are doing. Thanks
Thanks for watching. It's worth remembering that the reviews on this channel reflect the full spectrum of opinions, from the positive to the negative. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with synthetic ingredients, in the same way that there is nothing intrinsically 'right' with natural ingredients. The important thing is to know how to use them in order to create the required effects. Modern perfumery would not exist without synthetic ingredients: a fact I have repeated many times on this channel.
@@Persolaise That's why I mentioned "the pickiest" :) It's not like chanel doesn't make nice scents. They are nice, pleasant, but they are just not WOW. Something in their DNA isn't WOWing me. And if a scent isn't wowing me, I will not reach for it. It's as simple as that in my case. To be wowed, I need a proper Amouage, TF, LV*2 (both Lorenzo Villoresi, and Louis Vuitton), Thameen (now that Christopher Chong is there) and a few more. That's why I can not collect that many bottles. 99% of the perfume out their are not good enough for me (but it's good for my bank account :). I only have a few dozens. There is one exception though - Dior Eau Sauvage, the eternal and quintessential after shave scent for men. Although it's not a wow scent - it's eternal imho (Roudnitska, what do you expect? :).
What is the point of reviewing this when there are loads of great scents around you could grab and introduce to us ? The fact they treat influencers with a complimentary full size bottle should not guarantee them a video 😂
Thanks very much for writing. I can assure you that on this channel, nothing guarantees a review, neither a full bottle nor a small vial. The brands are aware of this. There are lots of factors that go into deciding which scents I review. In this case, I wanted to offer a less 'gushing' viewpoint on a piece of work that I know is going to be strongly pushed by a forceful publicity machine.

Ha! You may be right.
Which one?

Who knows. Perhaps he really likes it.
Thx for the review !
Thanks very much for watching.
Can confirm the scent is the same as the previous release. As you say, it’s unpleasant. Loud and silly, I thought.
Sorry, I didn’t smell the original one.

The way in which the review sample was obtained has no bearing on the content of the review.

i was expecting to buy it cause of Hardy, haha, you saved me and my money. thank you!
Thanks for watching.
Best fougere I’ve smelt in a long time
Good to know. Thanks very much for watching.
The 5 minute longevity and the 20 cm projection always kept away from this brand.....
You're not the only one who feels this way.
Does anyone know of a good Jo Malone London Cypress & Grapevine clone?
Perhaps someone reading this will be able to help.
Yes, I produce it

Scen doesn't last long at all., but smells great
So many of them have poor longevity.
Thanks for watching.
Myyr and Tonka was the best, but like many others was ruined by reformulations. No strength to their fragrances anymore.
Thanks very much for watching.
It's a boring brand. But then again, for my picky nose/skin (the pickiest?), brands such as Creed and Chanel are boring as well...
I’d agree with you about Creed.

Genuinely curious why Jo Malone would send you review bottles.
I guess they're following a marketing strategy of some sort. I'm not always as negative as this about their work.
Cool cool shirt 👕
Thank you!
Moreover C Nagel who has created scent for JM is a great nose.
That’s absolutely correct.
Your facial expressions alone bear witness to the very abhorrence of this fragrance. 😂
The face doesn’t lie.
That was the longest introduction for a review a lot of in consequential information
Thanks for the feedback.
Perfect fougere by Jo Malone London. Many many compliments getter.
Good to know.

Sorry but Viking is fantastic....imho.
No need to say sorry. If you enjoy wearing it, then keep wearing it.

It looked eye wateringly bad.
Major disappointment.
I'll tell JM to give you money to speak better of it
I do not accept payment for reviews.
Wow..😂 sounds so bad..
Well, I’m certainly not impressed with it.
Anything compared with Viking Cologne is.....yeah. 🤭 Shame about this one. 🪰
Agreed.
