Since I haven’t seen anyone mention this at all, if you need multiple of a super rare drop but only have 1 to upgrade equipment and don’t want to farm more of it and have the money, making a forgery of a crafting material just gives you a working copy of that material to upgrade with.

@TBDS1990 Doesn't matter what the quest name. That means you have not gone through far enough. If you done his quest, or at least remember him, you would know at least. I am not on my PC so cannot check. It's nearly the end game. That's all I can tell you. Cause that's where I stop at the moment to see if I have any other side quest I miss. Turns out, it's his quest and there is another home to buy.

The dragonforged sells all that stuff plus can upgrade your vocation and a single skill all in NG+, dont have to rush back into the endgame for it. He can also RESET AN ARMORS UPGRADES for 1 crystal.
Ayyyyy upgrade resets are huuuuge
a nice thing to know if no one is aware of, for the sphinx if you can't remember or find where you got your 1st seeker token for the finder's token, she accepts forgeries of the finders token, and you can forgery the forgery, you can have a friend or good samaritan summon your pawn, then dismiss the pawn and give the pawn the finders token
For every playthrough, your best bet is to always grab the same seekers token first. I use the one on top of the forge in the first fort.
and btw, when you visit the dragonsmith in newgame+, you will notice that he has more options, for instance u can upgrade vocations (it says more stat growth) and even one skill of choice for an upgrade as well, temporary buffs like double xp, discipline for 24 ig hours...and still not a single video about that :D
want to know a cool trick, if you use recovery arrow at your feet or face first into a wall, you can heal yourself, pretty neat tbh.
A hidden achievement called "Im in" you can use the cart that passes by the boarder town to get into Battahl. You just hop in, the carriage driver will gripe, but they'll let you through. Neat way to get through if you want to avoid the caves. Though if you leave the cart in eyesight of the guards after passing they become hostile. Dunno if they cover it in this vid, I just wanted to pass that on since I haven't seen guides mention it.
So I did this very early in game, and the guards went crazy and started attacking. I ran down the hill and a griffin showed up. I fought it at level 10, won but my team was dead and I was out of heals. Right outside the gate is an inn so I went back to sleep.. And vergil attacked me. He's right at the inn. I killed him and now can't progress the sphinx mission. I didn't even know. I was just screwing around. I also didn't have a single wakestone and didn't know he was important until hours later. At that point his body despawned.
He did cover it before but good reminder for people!

I got in and started texting… looked up and i was in battahl 😂😂. But soon after doing this I saw them mention this in a video!
And to go back u can jusr wait by the gate and people walk in all the time! But like he mentioned you will be a enemy for crossing the border so just run away from the guards (out of town) and when they deaggro you can go back into the city!
@@Ricky_Spanishhif you go to the morgue the body will be in there u can revive and keep doing the quest hopefully and i believe if a npc dies they come back after a week or a month in game time

Small interaction I found with the pawns is that if you're holding grab as they fall from high places, you can catch them as well!
My pawn has caught me many times😅
More specifically with Forager, you can go to your Map then press Search and tab over to Materials, you can choose your gear, see a list of what is needed for all for 4 different styles of forging, then highlight the item and press left/right to cycle through the spawn points where they are found. However i think it only shows spawn points that the pawn has witnessed.

I use the ring of derision from the sphinx to do 1 damage when I farm Drakes. Just an easy tip.
It seems like I very rarely steal crystals from normal drakes but I saw that someone said they got like 300 from the final boss using thief, I assumed there was a much lower rate of stealing from drakes. Is this not the case?
For Forager spec, instead of searching the map at all resource 1 by 1 {like you showed on the video} you can simply use the search function on the map to show you the locations for upgrade materials and quests (to be more efficiency).
One thing REALLY worth noting about the unmoored world- beating the quests and farming crystals don’t need to be considered separate tasks. Doing the evacuation quests and cleansing the beacons(minus the final one) net you crystals along with xp and gold. I got about 350 crystals from cleansing the beacons and evacuating all 5 towns. Also, beating the “final” boss before unlocking the true ending nets you a straight 100 crystals
Also some upgrade mats are locked to the unmoored world. Specifically the stuff the purple phantasms drop. Farm what you can, so you can dup it later on.
@@failegion7828Not the only source. There's one red spirit west of Sacred Arbor pre-unmoored. And then you can dupe the eldricite with the forgery system.
@FelisImpurrator where at exactly? I ended up dragonforging a different MA bow because I couldn't find this material.
@@Jsobone Legit don't know. I just heard it existed from multiple confirmations but never actually got to look. Currently sweeping Battahl for my last 18 or so seeker tokens, so I'm not at that point yet.

im going hard, 70+ hours and still not gotten past the main 3 intro missions. i'm exploring every nook and cranny of this. the caves are so much fun, and exploring to get the far hidden away quests before progressing has gotten me some really cool items i cant even find guides for online! this game is so good.

At a pretty high level now, and the pawns around me are wielding what I presume to be Unmoored+ gear, and I've only done Monster Culling for Mystic Spearhand.
Same haha, i am lvl 50 and i dont eben have the papers to go to batthal, yet i found a sneaky way inside, i love this game, i did everything the first one does and more, i just wish we had more vocations :)
Careful, if you do certain things or go to certain places. You can actually make it so certain sidequests never show up like they were supposed to
NG+ gear that gets unlocked is miles better I have 100hrs
@@SuperZakaru for sure. but there are also quests and items you cant get if you dont go early. this game has so much, you cant do it all in one play. the times i stumble upon a dead ??? guy and i was never even there for a fight! its actually a really cool system, the saving and having consequences regarding your actions.
Pilfer is also great to use in certain areas.
Bandits in the coral snake hideout have a wild drop rate for ferry stones. I spent a day farming and have almost a full stack.
Pilfer is also good to use against every vendor and import npc. Some have very valuable items for either gold or your own use.
Biggest thing though, don't let a guard catch you doing it.
Do it right and you'll have more money and items you know what to do with.

it helped me get around 40 - 60 WLC from dragons sometimes
I actually got the woodland wordsmith from the elven weapon dealer, which was great as I get a discount from the things she sells as well

The first Dullahand I encountered was while doing a quest for someone at the Volcano Camp. Had to take something to the camp east of it, and on my way, one spawned on a bridge. It was so hard that I thought it was a unique boss encounter, and it kept tossing my pawns off the bridge to their deaths. This was at night though. Going back later during the day...nothing. So I intentionally started wandering through there at night, and never saw one again. Guess I just never went there at the exact narrow window of time I needed to.
I've been using 1 mage (for buffs) 2 thieves (both with plunder) and myself as magic archer with hailstone bolt to constantly knock enemies down with stupid ease (pair with frostbolt to slow/freeze them to make headshot laughably easy) make farming for ferrystones and wakestones easy as all large monsters have a VERY rare chance to have shards on them( is like 0.001% chance and have gotten around 10 full wakestones in roughly 1 hour of farming.
I just used that ring from the Sphinx riddle that makes all your attacks deal 1dmg and let my pawns do the killing as I hack away at it for WLC lol
Fast mobility.... Warrior ravenous lunge can be near endless... Use mage celerity for super speed. Pawns will be porting to keep up with you

The unmoored world is not timed if you do the mission. Close all the red beams and the storm will stop enclosing towards seafloor shrine. Then you can stay there as long as you want. Ive done it
but you only get 12 sleeps, eventually you lose the ability to hard save and respawn enemies so it does eventually try to force you out.
Theres also a dullahan outside the cave in the volcano region that you need to go to for the dulled steel quest chain, the one that unlocks dwarven smithing in Bakbattal.
The first Dullahan I fought was right above the Dragonforged on that landing with the gore harpies. I just decided to try out mystic spearhand and let’s just say he dealt no damage to anyone😅

So far the best method I've found for farming wyrmlife crystals the most efficiently can only be done on the final boss. Use thief stealing on it with carve until it dies, attend the feast and have the pathfinder take you back to the fight and then rinse and repeat. You only need to do this maybe 5-6 times to have enough crystals for every weapon and armor piece from the dragon forged. Takes maybe 2 hours. So much faster than wandering unmoored world or pre-postgame hunting drakes.
Im 50+ hours in and haven't even gotten a story quest to get to bakbattal, i absolutely love this game and just spend hours exploring and hunting big monsters
dullahans spawn at the volcanic forge as well, seems to be pretty solid, right out the door.
So I think it was stated in a previous video you can cut off medusas head now I thought this was just a cool items you can use as a reward for beating her no there is a quest in Battahl the requires you to use the head the person giving the quest also sorta hints what you need to do it’s the sculptor quest if that helps i don’t wanna spoil if you don’t know what I’m talking about
You do not "need" it for that quest, it just makes it much easier. You can also just drag out the fight long enough for the sculptor to finish, which is not very difficult if you command pawns to wait to prevent damage
Something really neat that I haven't seen anyone cover yet, the trebuchets can be fired if you put rocks on them. If you shoot them 3 times it will break down a rock wall.
I know there are two trebuchets near the broken fort north of the ancient battlefield, one of which opens up an area that has a seekers token + wakestone shard. The other opens up a path on the east side of the ancient battlefield. If you follow that path east, you'll find the 3rd trebuchet next to a single tower. The 3rd catapult breaks down a rockwall with a chest behind it that has a really good early game thunder mage staff call "Tintreach".
I'm not sure if there are any more trebuchets, but it would be good to keep your eyes open for them.

Just a heads up, if your looking for a specific upgrade or crafting ingredient, an you just need a few of them, you can get a forgery of this an it will work for enhanchments. Just make sure to always keep one extra just in case you need more

01:56 The end game item was sold in pre post world, only we can buy it with gold, it is not the end of the world if you don't get to buy it from Enmored World. There is an NPC that sold it in Batthal, dwarf smithy apprentice named Sara, you need to unlock her quest first, in order for her to sell it. Also Volcanic shop vendor also sells some of it. Including from the road dwarf that almost break his back.
i havent gotten much luck with procing bump and lift. in the whole time ita taken me to max the profession and 3 griffons later ive only bumped like 2 items in total since getting it.
When it comes to carving for mats, the sphinx gives you a ring that lowers your damage to 1
Wait, Im in ng+ and never knew about the unmoored world or the alternate ending. However, in ng+, the dragonforged guy sells all weapons and armour you can only get in unmoored world in the initial playthrough. So, no need to go to unmoored world to spend WLC on them. You can farm drakes, buy and upgrade all endgame armour and weapons before stepping foot in the unmoored world in ng+!!!! I might have just avoided catastrophic failure by jumping into endgame too soon this run!
Time to just farm drakes and aim for all weapons and armour upgrades! My ng+ play time is gonna be 100hrs + easy haha At least I'll definitely be ready for endgame when it comes 😉
The Dullahan or Headless horseman boss can be found roaming freely in the Unmoored world as well
Definitely going to abuse the save / load tip. I've had drakes fly off with their wings completely torn which is frustrating.
I ran into the headless horseman after dragonforging my weapon. The road back towards the city by the near bonfire and small huts.
Dullahans are fairly common in postgame, so don't fret if you can't find any for materials.
Still on my first play through I'm grinding exactly 790wc to get everything I want for me and my main pawn it's been fun and has been getting me alot of xp
If you go west of Sacred Arbor, apparently there's a single source of Eldricite before postgame. That way you can get a piece to dupe with the forgery shop.
I just dragonforged a different bow because I couldn't find this material.. maybe ill look into it or just wait for the postgame bow.
Game is so good I played through once and now am playing through with mods its awesome

You get to keep the ring, don't need to make forgery.
You can get the same ring from traveling npc in bakbathal to. I have enough for everyone in my party :D
Put the ring on that kills your damage output and solo the dragon to farm has much has you want with a few allheal elixirs

Heeeeyyyy I think I know how I got the Mystic Spearhand weapon Dead Ringer now. I was playing a Thief and likely had Bump and Lift on
I spent 2 hours on thief only using carve on wyverns and only got 15 extra wyrmslife crystal from bump and lift I had 2 other thief's with me (literal definition of bad luck)
U can use wayfarer and use daggers and still steal from all just keep some daggers on u.
Most of the dragon I fight ran away is there a reason for that ? Or is it a mechanic like monster hunter you fellow him to the other spot ?
Would it be possible to use the Sphinx ring that drops ur damage to basically nothing with bump and lift?
I depleted 4 full lifebars of a dragon alone with nothing but carve normal attacks and bump and lift did not proc once

I found this quest on accident. I ended up killing Jarle 😂. Got to the part where he wanted to get poisoned by the Chimera. I kept trying to get him to get poisoned but he kept moving, and my pawn ended up killing the Chimera. He ended up getting mad and more or less firing me. So I killed him.
I tried bump and lift on a drake, had it as my only attack the entire time, didn’t get a single wlc, is that just bad luck on my part or can something happen to make it so it doesn’t work?
Dragonforged’s upgraded inventory is also available in NG+ in case you missed the true ending

@@aaronhurdle2643 so if you don’t get the true ending either by not knowing or just not wanting to do it at the time and you start NG+, when you get to the dragonforged guy his inventory will have all the endgame items plus his other vendor options like blessings and skill enhancements
Premature Comment before finishing the video:
On the Griffin. If it flies away, just keep your camera on it. It will eventually turn around and Kamikaze back down to the ground. This works also if you see one flying and you want to fight it. Again, just keep your camera on it. This grabs its attention and it’ll come towards you.
Yea I'm definitely gonna exploit that eagle save hopefully I can do that with the dragon as well because they stay flying away
If I remember correctly, a little kid in the Slums gifted me a Forager tome. I think I gifted the church 1k, and gave the girl the silver ore. Then some random kid came up and gave me the tome. It might be more related to how much the people in the Slums like me, but I can't be sure.

We need a mod that fix the annoying slippery rooftop. It break the immersion sliding off every rooftop like it had ice.
If ur on NG+ with Rogue/Steal can u use the ring that restricts your dmg output to the lowest level?
Only thing that really sucks, is that you can carry 99 and store 99 of everything, I liked storage in the original and carry amount 9999.

Did rent a Thief with Forager,but do not show anything on my map.I know i did rent one before and i did see iron ect,but then i did think it was cuz i did some quest and never thinked about it.But now it do not show anything on the map sadely :(

How did you dragonforge your cloak?
So that save and then exit the game thing doesn’t work. Tried it a couple of times with drakes and once they leave the game autosaves immediately, and then when you try to reload the game, it’s just going back to when the drake already left.
Confirmed on PC. No opportunity to save (greyed out) before the auto save after it’s gone
The elf language specialization is not permanent. If you use another specialization, you’ll lose the language specialization.

Idk if im doing something wrong but the save after fly away and reload did not work for me.
I failed to save Gregor the first time i tried to save him from the dullhan, really wanted to do the quest for the lustrous targe shield but since he didnt make it you don't get it, i did get a really good sword though, steeled something I think one of the best pre-battal weapons you can get aside from the almace. I think the hobgoblins in the area beyond the border have a chance to drop the shield. (you can even see them equipped with them)
I seem to have bad rng when it comes to getting those specilzations scrolls I think i gave the elf inkeeper like 3-5 bundles of flowers and still didnt get it. I also didnt seem to get theone you get from flora the apothecary girl so im attempting to raise affinity with her just to see if its rng based.
You can only increase a NPC's affinity by a max of 1 a day giving them 5 flowers is the same as one you need to pass time
Wear the ring you get from the Sphinx for carve stealing.
Is there a list anywhere for what specific items qualify as a 'rare' or 'expensive' or 'beautiful' (or whatever) type of gift you can give an NPC for favor?

How come you didn't mention that after completing the unmoored World yhe first time, the dragonforged starts just simply selling the equipment in game without having to go back to the unmoored world? I think it would be important to state that, as it would inform others that they don't have to rush through the world trying to get back to him and spend all their crystals in the end game when they can just go back to him in NG+
Is there a way go specifically spawn drakes after killing them? They take forever to show back up after killing them.
Yes, they respawn in 7 days but can take up to 14.
So either sleep in your house or doze of on a bench.
Because sleeping at an inn will he quitte costly for that amount of time.
