I really appreciate your videos. You don't make false statements about a products. On TH-camr keeps telling people Bonide Copper Fungicide is not organic, and it clearly states for organic gardening. You are very clear about how to grow Dragon Fruit, from start to finish. Keep the great videos coming. I bought my first dragon fruit cuttings from Wallace Farms after I watched the video of you visiting there.

Very cool stuff. I only have three varieties in my garden. This year, two of the varieties gave me fruit for the first time. We even ate the first one. I've been growing them for three years. And I'm learning from my mistakes. Where I live in Jamaica, the sun is terrible. Last year, especially on one variety, it caused a complete massacre. This year I built a net for them that blocks 40% of the sun and zero sunburn. I added automatic irrigation, I water them every other day.
The soil is a mix of pet moss and coconut with perlite. But after these three years, I see that I should top up the soil. If I just add new soil from the top (one foot), won't I destroy the plants? Won't they rot or get fungus? What's your experience? In this video, you mention adding soil this way, but maybe one foot is too much? What you think?

I'm in Florida and need to trellis my cuttings, but trying to figure out the soil for here. What kind of sand should I look for?

I went to Lowe’s and got washed play sand. I didn’t even use hormones. Just stuck them in, kept direct Sun off them and spritz them with water first 10 days. Zone 9 Florida 😊

What is the name of your dragon fruit? Is it American Beauty and Yellow Palora?

Always good to watch and review. So far I have an Australian Hellboy variety that is stubborn growing. It had a stem rot in the middle which I stopped. I recently washed the roots with Hydrogen Peroxide. The roots look ok still waiting on it to wake up.

Paul, hopefully you can answer my question. I have dozens of dragon fruit plants and have been cultivating for about 3 years and watching your videos for almost as long. I have an issue with my physical graffiti plants that continually abort probably about 90% of the fruits; almost always after the bloom, after I hand pollinate with multiple different varieties (sugar dragon, American beauty, purple haze, and even some unknown varieties [H. Polyrhizus possibly]) and setting of the fruit. They typically drop off a week or two after fruit sets. I have about 9 trellises in 20 gall pots and many more on other arrangements but this is the only variety I have that has the issue. The soil was originally fox farms and could probably be replaced, however I have at least 4 other older trellises with the same soil makeup but not the abortion issue. Any thoughts?

Great compilation, do you by any chance sell pollen? Or have any to spare? My Connie Mayer is flowering for the 2nd year and don't have other pollen. If you can, will you help me out? I'm in Socal too, I can drive to you. Thanks.
