My dog looked so depressed when I took her home from the shelter lol, I had to practically drag her into my car and she just sat in the back all curled up and looking miserable the whole ride home. Now she’s cuddled up next to me in bed. It took her a little time but she got there haha

I am 1000% adopting my dogs and cats when I have a place of my own. Seeing them all breaks my heart but seeing them so happy in their forever home makes me so happy.

I was crying so hard watching this video my dog was was kissing my tears. There's still so much love in these dogs eyes despite the horror that's been done to them .

P.S. please find the monster who did that to Baron and lock him up in very dangerous prison and let the inmate's know what he did to Baron. He'll be looking for a new nose very quickly..

O...M...G...!!! When I saw Baron I got so angry that I started to shake and cry. The person or people responsible for doing that to that beautiful animal need to be removed from society permanently. It made me so mad that I would have been 100% capable of murder if I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt who did it. #JusticeForBaron

Mochi Pan me, too! I cried tears of joy, sorrow, and then got touched all over again...and then Baron...such a loving, precious pooch! I shudder when I think of the pain he he went through when somebody deliberately cut away his nose. Dogs can sense 40 times greater smells than a human being can, and their nose is the most delicate part of their body. I'm sure whoever did that new these facts and that person needs to be put away for life... they are a danger to society and they are a danger to ALL LIFE!
I was crying so hard, because all a dog, or a every pet needs is a bit effection and love and than they will never ever leave you.. I cant understand how people can live with themselves after hurting such a precious creater.. Sometimes I'm ashamed that I'm a human..

I have rescued a few dogs over the last 15 years, one thing I can tell you is that they really, really appreciate having a forever home! It's visible in the way they act and learn how to get along with the other dogs in the house. Of course , there will be some trying times, but well worth it in the end!

I wonder how my dog reacted to being rescued. He was surrendered to a shelter after two years of horrendous abuse and was supposed to be euthanised at the shelter. He reacted so well to being adopted! He was such a happy, yet shy boy. Now he’s a jerk and just really loves cookies. xoxo Love you PJ, always and forever. 💕💕💕
I can't pick a favorite. All touched my heart and made me so thankful for those who rescue and those who adopt these precious and innocent babies. Just last Sunday, our hometown newspaper announced that our animal shelter is going to pursue no-kill status. Such great news.

Im also a foster parent and its the most rewarding thing ever 🥰🥰🥰 my current boi (greyhound) came in last week heavily injured but now hes thriving, making more friends and snoozing like a champ 🥰

My family rescued a mill dog. She was taken by the National Mill Dog Rescue society along with I think 200 dogs. Poor girl was almost forced into breeding since she was the right age, but they saved her at the right time. It’s so sad to hear what happens with dogs like that, but I’m glad she’s with us now. It’s so great to a see a dog who’s never had love before then from one who hides from the sound of people, to being my cuddle buddy when I’m in my room. Hazel is a gift, I’m glad we got her last year, she’s really turned around. Bless you guys making this video and showing just what love can do ❤️

All they do is love everyone they come in contact with and certain spineless a__holes make themselves feel big by abusing an innocent animal. I wish I could just once catch on of these people. I would chain them up outside with no water in the sun to get eaten alive by ticks and bugs. Maybe it may get through to them how it is to be an innocent animal. PEOPLE CAN BE SO CRUEL.

Our rescue dog, Eddie, pretty much danced with joy when we left the shelter with him. He was pulling on the leash and his tail was wagging so hard it shook his body. He wouldn’t stop licking us. I’m glad he’s part of the family. He’s a perfect addition.

Lay Ariel Anybody that does that to an animal should be tortured with an iron maiden that has had acid poured on the spikes with molten lava on the floor of it and electrical wires on the top that activate even if the person hair touches it and it should also be placed inside a metal enclosure that has gamma radiation going through it with needles on the spots inside that don't have spikes and not only is it placed inside a box of gamma radiation but it is placed inside ANOTHER enclosure that heats on all sides like the brazen bull and also have 1 spike on the bottom that slowly goes between their legs and if they are alive after it will slowly impale them like between their legs through their brain and you could see it coming out of the iron maiden(DEEP BREATH)

Yea my Pitbull Harley freaked out when I came back to pick her up. I would have taken her the day I meet her but she needed to be fixed.
I first met one of my dog's, Brandy, when she was found wandering lost at the high school I worked at. I didn't get to meet her for very long as she was taken to an animal shelter. After 8 days waiting to see if anyone would claim her I was the lucky person who got to take her home and I swear she remembered me, jumped all over me even though she's not a jumpy sort of a dog. She was so excited but also a bit scared of the car ride home as I don't think she'd been in a car before so I sang to her all the way home (About a 40 minute drive) and she just calmed right down and seemed to drink it all in. She never made a sound for 6 months after I adopted her then suddenly one day she heard a noise outside and barked for the first time. I never knew she had a voice but from that moment on, she just let go and a cheeky little personality blossomed forth.

That's great, she sounds like a top pooch. I've had 5 dogs over my 58 years, my first when I was 5 yo, Suzy Ringa, Panda, and Rundi all lived long and happy lives. Now my best little mate maggie, who is 16 years old, is happy, healthy and surprisingly full of life, considering the old sheila's age. The funny thing is, I didn't look for or find any of my dogs, they all found me in their own different ways. Cheers to you, Brandy and your other pooch (poochies maybe?). Rob.
