    Full marks to the foreman for joining in. About the roof, do the plastic covers between the polycarbonate sheets unclip, is it metal bars underneath the plastic covers? I need to work on my conservatory roof, but as i didn't build it I don't know! Thanks for the excellent series, all the best

      The plastic covers will probably break removing them, however, varico Ltd is where I bought the roof from, they have vids on there too. Also they sell self supporting bars like I have £80 quid each for this size and bars you run on top of beams for 20 odd instead. Both come complete with caps...

    superb job but i cant find the part where you put the roof on

      Thank you , I do mention in the next bart after the roof is on that it was terrible weather raining etc when we fitted the roof so filming was just not possible . It's not that difficult . If you are capable of the roof fitting is easy . Fit the self supporting beams, then a roof panel , left most capping , then the next beam , next panel left capping and work across like that .

    Nice work, your build has spoiled my plan 😂. Now I’m planning build one.. I’m just wondering how high is the front wall? Best wishes!!

      Thanks for watching . 90 CMs , otherwise all the glass has to be toughened . !!

      @@dadsworkshop thanks for a quick reply, sorry, what is the overall head height at the front? Thanks

    • @dadsworkshop
      @dadsworkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Familygarden88 2 m front , 2.5 m at the rear by memory , I know the back is definitely 2.5 , and it has an 11 degree slope , double minimum required for roof material

    What do you reckon the total cost was on the whole project?

    • @dadsworkshop
      @dadsworkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Can't remember now , think it was around £2500 , one of the vids had a breakdown of all costs in the description .

    Looking fantastic Jim! Even got the wife to shake her booty for the camera. These videos are getting spicy! I’ll have to come back later to see if anybody tells you that you’re doing it wrong. 😝
