Geth. I hear Geth - which means (at the least) Geth minds survived the crucible wave. It’d be an EPIC plot point if Tali slipped them info on the crucible so that they could prepare and be at a safe distance. How? Well Geth are master hackers and the plans for Ark Hyperion’s engines had to be stored somewhere…. Or even Geth aboard the missing Quarian Ark sending communications.
As I see it, one way they might have saved themselves would have been to engineer the destruction of the Mass Relay that could have transmitted over to where they lived. If the chain reaction is stopped, then Geth around at least one relay are safe.
Or they were simply rebuilt, the star child tells Shephard if he picks destroy that their children will continue to create synthetics and that the chaos will come back.

Haha, I am loving the possible implications of this. Because that means I called it, granted even I considered it wishful thinking. Because in 3 in the Codex, I think, it said something about the crucible only affecting Reaper tech. So I considered that the geth COULD have survived since it was a code change and not hardware. Edi was made using parts of Sovereign so her chances are not as good. But as long as the memory is intact, she could be rebuilt. That was my emotional deflection for years now, but to think it may be legitimate. Ha!
Yes, you've pretty much summed up what I was thinking initially. However, when we learn of the way that the Geth's neural network and EDI's unshackled AI begin to become more organic, there is a path to them escaping the red option. On the other hand, the Reapers were "programme locked" and they had not moved forward in hundreds of thousands of years. Misinterpreting the Leviathan's programming because of the bloody word "perfection" was their downfall. Leviathan said as much in the DLC. That theory of mine would be my dream outcome. I've seen a lot of little breadcrumbs that may point in that direction, but that could be just me being hopeful. As long as Bioware don't allow EA to eviscerate the story, I'll be happy.

A part of me wonders in the aftermath of the Crucible blast and the destruction of the relays if galactic government has totally collapsed since they wouldn’t be able to travel to the other parts via relay. I wonder if Shepard and the squad have to rebuild society while fighting off splinter factions vying for power (reborn cerberus for example). Dang, this is going to be interesting. I fully believe they released the Legendary Edition so we could upload our Shepards right into the new game and start with our OG characters

I know "Indoctrination Theory" was said to be false by the developers, but I think its true. Makes me wonder if the new trilogy will start off at the climactic moment the Reapers are destroyed and Geth were never actually wiped out because the 3rd game's ending was all in Shepard's head after he got smacked by that laser. I think it's a backup of some kind that it takes place outside the Milky Way just in case something happens with the Geth. I don't remember what Legion specifically says but, they have something to go off of that conversation.
I'd honestly be very surprised if the Citadel Council is still intact as a galactic government. Heck I'm expecting the various races to split apart too. With the relay network down (along with most capital worlds being ravaged), there's going to be a lot of smaller powers. In particular I'd expect a lot of colonies to want independence after being more or less abandoned by their own governments as the Reapers advanced. Going to be a lot of local warlords with their own fleets too. The Templin Institute had a video that explores a possible post-Reaper galaxy. It was very believable.

Theory: Based on the overlap between the Geth voice and Liara's voice, I think this isn't Liara talking to a Geth, but a Geth testing some kind of voiceover algorithm to imitate Liara. That could be a sign of the Geth being turned into "sentient" individuals after Priority: Rannoch (or however it went, I don't fully remember), or they could have some kind of malicious intent.
She's not talking to a geth. Its a geth transmission OF Liara talking, as in something they intercepted and and is now decoded from the geth "language". My theory: the original Shadow Broker was the benefactor trying to play as many cards as possible with his knowledge of the reapers coming and wanting to ensure all bases were covered, so he made the andromeda initiative a thing, but needed to also ensure that all roads didn't come back to him, just in case. After Liara became SB she probably came across that info sometime after the events of ME3 and began putting two and two together and somehow said those words to someone regarding the AI but that transmission was intercepted by some geth and they perhaps went after those ships. Could be how they came across the ship with the Quarians and why they sent out their warning that we hear at the end of ME:A.
@@mrvictorsilva the quarian ark has its own SAM, and even if the Ryder's one is the most developped, we know all SAMs are sentient AI, so the quarians on the ark are probably open to this idea. Don't forget that some quarians wanted peace with the geths.

If anything, it opens the door to that ark being compromised and turning back toward the milky way with Geth that are enhanced by the SAM and not very friendly.

I don't see them bring back cerberus. They were already a major focus in 2 of the games. I think humanity developed a mass relay prototype before the council did and the council is obviously angry.

Liara is talking about SAM, an A.I. created for the Andromeda Initiative. The Geth recognized what SAM was when it tapped into the Geths long range sensor array and pointed it to Andromeda. This is the conversation they are talking about
MR7 "mass relay 7," operated by an organisation called "green dagger" according to the text. These stations look to be only partially built, which means this "green dagger" organisation is finishing what Cerberus started. From what Liara said, it sounds like humanity has gone rogue and will most likely be the threat in the next game.
I think I would be mad if they made Geth the main vilain. I do hope they found a way to survive. I read a comment that let think the geth would imitate Liara's voice, but for what purpose? I hope it's a well intended one. That would be over lazy from Bioware to use the Geth again as vilains. That would also be disrespectful for the player's choices even though it never really mattered. I have high hopes though!

There is a different voice in there beside Liara. Could be another alien. I listened to it slowed by 50% and got most of it. Some is just too scrambled but this is what I got. I think it is. The Geth voice does seem to mirror her tone in a few places, possibly the Geth are picking up her transmission or broadcasting it. Theory I haven't seen yet is the Galaxy is using Geth technology sold by the Quarians in exchange for farming equipment or pre-fab houses or something. So this is a "normal" conversation except it is happening in real time from opposite ends of the galaxy or something. They are using a derivative of Geth comm equipment so the static sounds like Geth language.
It's not a Liara. On the right corner of this video you are able to see full name of capitan and the ship. Based on uncoded video and this information, the voice belongs to Quarian, female Capitan - Soa Rhai Zhilan - Jones from shipp called "Navarch". Probably she's an observer. She is just watching how - maybe forces of The system Alliance - studying leftovers of mass relay. That's my theory.
If the Geth are still around, then the destroy ending must not be cannon, unless the Geth managed to store some of their consensus in a place that could protect them from the Crucible.

The Geth were always sentient, they've shown true AI behavior since ever, i.e., "does this unit have a soul?" in clear phylosophical ability display.

@@mrvictorsilva the quarian ark has its own SAM, and even if the Ryder's one is the most developped, we know all SAMs are sentient AI, so the quarians on the ark are probably open to this idea. Don't forget that some quarians wanted peace with the geths.
@@mrvictorsilva Given the nature of the message we get at the end, I don't think those geth were friendly and could have potentially taken over their SAM. If anything, it opens the door to that ark being compromised and turning back toward the milky way with Geth that are enhanced by the SAM and not very friendly.
@@pkidawmbt I also believe that somehow these geth managed to find a wormhole that would make their way to Andromeda faster than used by the arks that went ahead and found the Nexus using the Mass Relays. This would explain, perhaps, a way to link Andromeda 600 years ahead with the Milky Way post Reaper war.

I don't see them bring back cerberus. They were already a major focus in 2 of the games. I think humanity developed a mass relay prototype before the council did and the council is obviously angry.

These stations look to be only partially built, which means this "green dagger" organisation is finishing what Cerberus started. From what Liara said, it sounds like humanity has gone rogue and will most likely be the threat in the next game.
I think I would be mad if they made Geth the main vilain. I do hope they found a way to survive. I read a comment that let think the geth would imitate Liara's voice, but for what purpose? I hope it's a well intended one. That would be over lazy from Bioware to use the Geth again as vilains. That would also be disrespectful for the player's choices even though it never really mattered. I have high hopes though!

It's unlikely that Liara is seeking help from Geth to find Shepard, but this isn't the Geth Legion.
There is a different voice in there beside Liara. Could be another alien. I listened to it slowed by 50% and got most of it. Some is just too scrambled but this is what I got.

Could be the second line is the correct one and the first line is too jumbled and the third is just a repeat. It certainly makes more sense that way. I think this is a two way conversation between Liara and another Asari talking about the humans doing something uppity and defiant to the council's wishes.
The Geth voice does seem to mirror her tone in a few places, possibly the Geth are picking up her transmission or broadcasting it.
Theory I haven't seen yet is the Galaxy is using Geth technology sold by the Quarians in exchange for farming equipment or pre-fab houses or something. So this is a "normal" conversation except it is happening in real time from opposite ends of the galaxy or something. They are using a derivative of Geth comm equipment so the static sounds like Geth language.

It's not a Liara. On the right corner of this video you are able to see full name of capitan and the ship. Based on uncoded video and this information, the voice belongs to Quarian, female Capitan - Soa Rhai Zhilan - Jones from shipp called "Navarch".
Probably she's an observer. She is just watching how - maybe forces of The system Alliance - studying leftovers of mass relay.

Part of me truly hopes that Shepard is just...dead. I don't want see him the the part of the endless Zombie commander. He did his part and all player will always remember the original trilogy with a lot of respect, but i would say it's time to move on. Ryder was actually good, game problems excluded, and also Andromeda was a good game. Ok now you can take your guns and stones and point them at me.
