    Helpful as usual. I was ready to ask about majority and plurality, but the slide clear my doubts. Thanks

      I am glad you liked it Kasturi. Did you understand the difference between focus group and facilitation technique specifically JAD sessions?

      Focus group involves a moderator and they are specifically focusing on one particular group. For example if you are working on an IT project which needs input from both security and database team. Focus group will be taking inputs from 1 team individually whereas JAD session will be more structured where you will take the requirements from both the teams together

      I am glad Fatima you liked it. Collect requirements is a very important process from exam perspective. Do you know what is fist of five technique?

    • @FatimaAlicia
      @FatimaAlicia 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      EduHubSpot No, I’m not sure what the fist of five technique is. Do you mind sharing?

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a decision making technique which is mainly used in Agile projects. In this the stakeholders make a closed fist to show their disagreement to a decision. If stakeholders show 5 fingers this means they fully support the decision. If a stakeholder shows three fingers or less then moderator gives an opportunity to that stakeholder to discuss their concerns. This process continues until all the points are discussed and decision is made.

    Why do we need project charter when we already have scope management plan and requirements management plan ?
    In the last process procject charter is used as an input to deliver the high level requirements and description , and then as an output we got scope management plan and requirements management plan ..
    so why we need to check the project charter again and again for high level description when we already have it in the outputs of the 1st process ?

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats a very valid point. Both SMP and RMP does not have requirements. It just has a plan on how to deal with requirements. PC has the high level requirements and that is actually the starting point.

    PMIS is part of EEF right. I noticed it is mentioned as part of OPA. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes it does. In Jan 2021, pmp exam changed its exam outline where they included agile into the mix. Now the old stuff is still valid, only thing you need to know or learn is about agile. What is the difference between User stories and Context Diagram ?

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are very much similar. Think of user story as a step by step interaction of the user with the system. Like if I want to draw money from ATM. What are the steps Varun (User) will take to reach to end goal.
      Context Diagram is little different. Think of the same ATM machine, there are 1000’s of backend things going on just to withdraw cash. Context diagram is two and fro between the machine and other factors where one aspect is user for sure. However other aspects are, how it will help to generate reports, how your back account balance will be reduced: So it will send update to your banking system also, then it will send requests to database also and many more things.
      So context diagram is a holistic picture and user story is user interaction with the system but step by step.

    Whats the point of including the stakeholder that wants the project to fail to be part of the collect requirement meeting?

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      What if that stakeholder is high profile and you cannot go forward until you get his/her approval? You certainly cant bypass that person. Right?

    what is difference between Attainable and Realistic?

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      having an attainable goal means that I have the ability or skill or talent or even the discipline to achieve that goal. Using this definition, a goal to read one business-related book a month is attainable. Realistic, on the other hand means whether the goal in question fits with all of the other higher priorities in my life. For example, my highest priorities are to be a good husband and father, to spend time with my family, and to grow my business

    This process performed ONCE or at predefined points in the project

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends from project to project. In smaller projects it is performed once but if the requirements are changing a lot and it is a complex project then it is defined at predefined points in the project.
