There is SO much to do in Salento and the area around it. I stayed at El Viajero hostel in Salento. Took a day trip to Filandia to visit the secret double waterfall. Hiked the 5 hours loop in the famous Cocora Valley and visited one of the many coffee farms in the area.

That was excellent how colorful it all is there and the light is different there. ..Also when you opened the door in the morning it looked like paradise abosultly beautiful the waterfalls and the walk were really nice it was definitely worth the effort!

Please don’t miss out “reserva natural rio claro” in you way in or out Medellin. This natural reserve is one of my favorite places in Colombia. It’s gorgeous!!

You can find good quality of Coffee in Colombia of course in fine places such Juan Valdez But not in those cheap places. The expectation is to find the best coffee everywhere in Colombia it’s a shame that isn’t the case.

Buen video soy colombiano 🇨🇴👍 siempre que voy a Salento recargó energías en el valle del cocora fue declarado patrimonio histórico de la humanidad en el 2011en el valle habitan gran cantidad de fauna y flora en las palmas de cera habita el loro orejiamarillo que es el loro un alto vuelo y a veces también aparece el cóndor y es el inicio del parque nacional de los nevados pero toca con equipo de alta montaña

I loved Salento when I went a couple of years ago! Did you go to Brunch cafe? They had the BEESSSTTT milkshakes, omg I still think about them today.
I also did the cocora valley but it seems like we went another way I did the short way up

Cocora Valley in Colombia is famous for having the world's tallest palm trees. It's more commonly known in Spanish as “Valle Del Cocora”.

The cheap colombian coffee is called "tinto" here. It became part of our culture and it is usually offered to anyone when visiting a house. High quality Coffee like Juan Valdez is still a market on the rise here but you can find lots of organic coffee here in Colombia which taste delicious 😋
Tinto es black coffee ☕served in a small cup. Demitasse, that is, regardless what brand of coffee it is

Hey, something I didn't find on any Colombian coffee region is what are the general payment methods accepted? Do we need to go to ATM to have pesos? Or we can use credit card? Thanks
