If it weren't for these crazy kids from Washington state I'd be 1/2 the man and 1/4 the musician I am today. Love this band with every ounce of my being
I swear he does all those one-handed guitar poses to show off. As if the fact he can play these absurd songs and sing at the same time isn't impressive enough.
@@davidricart1395I got to meet him after one of their shows in San Antonio recently…he was very quiet and reserved but overall nice dude. He signed my vinyl and signed a bunch of peoples merch that came up to him. I think he might just be a little introverted
as much i love the speed of the drummer, the technicality of thomas's guitar and singing screaming. I noticed the smoothness of Tim's bass playing to compliment the chaos Fall of troy has. I love these dudes so much
you should check out the drum cam footage for "we better learn to hotwire a uterus," uploaded by drummers anonymous. andrew forsman is one of the most underrated drummers, love thomas but damn andrew deserves more credit lol
@@thiswebsiterockssocool8839 I wasnt talking shit I love all 3 alot. Their drummer is really spectacular for real. I was just giving some love to the bassist. But 100% I will check that out =]
Tim Ward is playing a Gibson Grabber II bass. It is a reissue of the 1970’s Gibson Grabber. It came out in 2009. It has a sliding metal pickup instead of a sliding plastic pickup, which is what the 70’s Grabbers had.
As someone who has been to that festival, it had probably pissed it down with rain and everything you're walking on is slushy mud. It was difficult trying to walk around the site let alone make a pit. Last time time I was there it was a 20 metre puddle in the middle of the main tent 😂
To be honest, when a band plays such technical music it is very hard to get it right everytime, yes some of this was pretty sloppy but you cant complain, for all you know they've been up there for an hour lol
It's literally impossible to play that many notes in one bar and not make mistakes. Safe to say these guys aren't a 1 take and done band in the studio, but no one playing music this difficult is. 1 takes are usually songs like Louie Louie lol
The best part about this band, and the best part about seeing them live is that the mix of hardcore punk and with more technical sections is that it’s actually fucking daring. It feels just on the being of being out of control or falling apart so it’s very exciting.
I know he’s on the latest record, but I’m not sure he’s still with the band (part or full time). He hasn’t been able to tour with them since 2016 unless they played locally. Extensive touring gets stressful for Tim… I wish he toured more with them, great backup screamer, great stage presence, and amazing bassist.
cha4kn HAH! Yeah, I mean his voice sounds fine on JLV's latest release, so hopefully a little studio wizardry will be enough. I would do anything for them to bring on a full time vocalist though. I know it wouldn't be classic TFOT, but nostalgia can only get an artist so far.
Every time I wathc video's on these guys, I can't get enough, I did a entire discog sweep, and i'm still craving more, Hell, Thomas Erak is why I started playing guitar, and the catchy ass riff's he makes are genius
well it looks like thomas and tim were both strung out here. the eyes tell all. plus, they kinda said as much too. that explains a lot of their sloppiness tho.
I mean, pretty much, it's mathcore, which is based on math rock. It's commonly considered the free-jazz equivalent of rock due to its odd time signatures and dissonant chords.
@@collie1 no, it sounds blown out which is very different from using a fuzz or overdrive pedal. There’s a specific annoying muffled tone that’s a similar frequency throughout
thomas is a good guitar player but... surelly someone behind the stage did the worst job or some audio playing behind... even with this advace, this guys plays a lot... really fucking professionals...
This is my only bitch about TFOT. Who ever is setting up their mics sucks. I need to hear what you're singing. Don't get me wrong I love the guitars and how dirty you guys are but I also like the vocals on their CDs...just not live.

Ian Muessig my duude
dude this band is goad tier
YES.
And you'd probably only be playing in 1/2 1/4 or 4/4 haha
One fucking hand. Godlike.
lol he plays guitar better with one hand than me with two
😆😆😆

@@drpibisback7680 Thomas is kind of a show off. He can back it up, but he's always given off that borderline douchey vibe like an Eddie Van Halen.

crazy chops
Seriously one of the most underrated drummers ever.
Tim sounds SICK
That freaking bass tho ❤️
I'm in that crowd somewhere dude, lol. I think I was centre front, but the camera never actually shows the crowd from that angle. Fucking love ATG!

the fucking scream tim does at 3:21 is fucking evil dude
More from this set please. Thank you!

Planning on doing the same in a couple days despite covid.

Incredible. Please come back to the UK soon so I can bask in your beautiful glory
The single best gig i've ever seen
holy shit i just realized that he played with one hand this dude is crazy
3:54 oh that bass
It’s very punk how they can’t really play their own songs. Serious compliment.
why do i love this sh** so much..?
Did you just censor yourself on TH-cam?

Garage rock version of meshuggah
It ain’t metal though

Is that bad tapping I hear @1:34? Just kidding, I love these guys.
Phuuuuuck
That is awsome!!!!!!!
thomas's screams in this are kinda cool, very grimey
I like how they just put clone of the drummer to play bass lol
If anyone knows what tim is using to get his bass to sound like that please let me know, I'm pretty sure it's a Gibson ripper and he uses orange amps

Is it me or Thomas vocals are a lot more cleaner than they've ever been...
Screaming seems like it would be easier than singing, but it's really not.
why is this unlisted?
and anymore?
It's unlisted for 24 more hours because Fecking Bahamas have an exclusive on the premiere. An there will be more...
good to hear guys, nice footage
It's been three months. Are you going to upload anymore? :)
Please upload the rest as soon as possible

Aging and smoking for 10 years.
He’s switched to vaping so hopefully that helps a bit
Will always be one of my favourite bands and saw this one live but holy shit Toms screams sound like shit nowadays
