  • The ABS stopped working on my 2016 Indian Roadmaster due to a wheel speed sensor. I also talk about mental health and journaling in this video.

That sounds exactly like what my father told me. My sister said that our dad pretty much said something very similar to her too.

When I needed help I just spouted off to my brother, sister and my husband, it helped a lot. My brother just lets me talk and listens to me and then inserts an uh-huh now and then just to let me know he's listening and my husband and sister is also a good listeners. It helps to talk to somebody sometimes. My brother, sister and my husband are better listeners than any psychiatrist I have ever been to. And a plus is that my brother, sister and my husband doesn't start off with "well I believe that you believe" crap like the psychiatrist have always done to me which pretty much lets me know that they're not going to believe anything I say and they're only listening to me because I'm shelling out a crapload of money that you can barely afford and that they really don't care about me I'm just a paycheck to them. So I definitely choose my siblings and my husband over any psychiatrist because they actually care about me and my feelings and the psychiatrist don't. I'm lucky to have such awesome siblings and husband.

I always advocate that people should see a therapist. Not only is a therapist better equipped to deal with what you are telling them and more qualified to help, but also telling your friends or family about your issues may put an undue stress on them and make them think they have to fix you.

Now matter how you feel, get on the bike, take a ride. You will feel better afterwards, even if you did not record anything.

There are times when my wife will tell me I should take a ride. I never regret riding, even in bad weather, and while it is far from being a cure, it does provide some temporary relief.

You have better days ahead, Gene. Hang in there. And ignore those family members, they don't know what they're talking about. And you're not wasting your life.😁😆 keep it up. Also, people who think like those family members are highly unhappy themselves. Just listen to psychiatrist talk when they talked to some of these so-called successful people and how depressed and unhappy they are with their own lives. I guess that's why they judge others because it makes them forget that they're depressed. It makes them forget that they are unhappy with their lives for a bit.

Thanks, and for the record, a psychiatrist mostly only provides medication and makes sure the medication is correct and helping. Psychologist or therapist are the ones who talk you and provide therapy to help you work through the issues.
