The last dessert you ate is called Halva. There are a few different types of Halva. But this one is made from toasted semolina and a honey syrup. Usually we put almonds and cinnamon on it too. I make this at home it is pretty simple. I love to add some orange zest.

The dessert in the end is halva, and it's amazing! it's such a multicultural food and it's apparent in many cuisines: Greek, Turkish, Pakistani and many more! This particular one is made from semolina, there are many many more kinds of halva (for example the one that's made from sesame) and I hope you'll get to try them all! The “Stuffed grape leaves” are actually Tolma (or Dolma) and it’s an Armenia dish, so as an Armenian I’m really glad you liked them. We also make other versions with the same filling put in eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper, and also wrapped in cabbage!
