He was supposed to die" and we all started laughing because I literally saved a character by forcing him to love me.
Kaze backwards is Ezak. It is pronounced a-zak. Kaze has a K' game. People say GG when they have a good name. This makes Kazeg... which backwards is Gezak. Gezak can be pronounced Gah-zach. Gazak spotlight confirmed, GG Mangs.
David Stanbra is freaking AWESOME as Kaze! His delivery of his critical quotes in particular are absolutely fantastic. Kaze himself I also found to be pretty useful on Conquest. So yeah you gotta love the guy really!
+TheBreakingBenny He did a freaking fantastic job as Kaze, Xander and Shura and the NPCs that he voiced (Like Sumeragi, and the capturable bosses I suppose!) had pretty fitting voices too. The man definitely has a lot of talent, for sure! Hopefully he gets more work in the future!

Hey a bit random, but I wanted to add a bit of information about Kaze's personal skill. From my experience, Kaze doesn't have to support the other unit to gain the benefit, he just has to stand next to them. I once came into a situation where of my units (supported by my avatar at the time) was 1 hit away from death, and as luck would have it, the enemy hit her. However, Miraculous Save triggered despite the fact Kaze was nowhere to be seen during that fight. Either that or I am remeberings things wrong.
I really like the new layout of the Character Spotlight. It makes it feel much more professional and looks a lot sleeker. Keep it up Mangs, you're one of my favourite people to watch on TH-cam!
i haven't been following the spotlights for a while to avoid spoilers,and they have been improved a lot.Since you can build your characters in different ways in fates,all this information is very useful.
Kaze is the best ninja! He has such high resistance that he wipes his ass with mages and sorcerers! If you have a section of enemy magic units just send Kaze in! He will destroy them and then their mothers. They cannot touch him!
Mangs, I noticed two mistakes in this video, in regards to the skills. First, kaze's personal skill proc rate does not take into account kaze's luck stat, but the one of another unit which he supports in either attack or defence stance... second, in regards to debuffs, if you use hidden weapons and skills for debuffing, they don't stack, true enough, but, for each stat, for example seal resistance and any other hidden weapon (pretty much, i think) the one that debuff the most (most of the times the skill) overlaps the debuff of hidden weapons and takes priority, and effectively counts as debuff for that unit (only in case you didn't notice)... for the rest the video is very well done and written... keep it up man! For the next spotlight I hope to see Sakura or Hinoka! Looking forward to the next video!
YAY Kaze my other bro besides Silas. Very nice, humble and despite girls thinking he is handsome, he sees it as a problem. On the one hand, like most men including Mangs and myself that sounds really dumb but to be fair he is a ninja not in the Naruto case thank god. Plus he is like Luigi with the big difference that both Saizo/Mario has a real mission that is not saving a princess again and Kaze/Luigi is finally cool and not used as a joke. Long story short, I love Kaze.
fun fact: giving kaze dread fighter helps so much with his strength stat if ninja lvl up RNG screws you over. i always end up with so much str on my kaze due to dread fighter. also kagero's dart kaze is too good...
Great job as always, Mangs! Liked and subscribed, your in-game experience with the units far outweighs what a large amount of guides state. As a suggestion, would it work to have the stated growths change on a character, depending on what class you are discussing for them? For example, Mechanist was stated to grow stronger and bulkier than Master Ninja, but how much so? That little information on display may change some people's opinions on how to play a character. Just an idea.
i love my kaze so much, he is an absolute beast. He has Luna and Lethality for combat skills and he triggers them all the time (obviously Luna more though) also because of thr statues he has a much higher strenght cap (30) and evades everything, and /also/ he has strenght taker to gain +10 strenght he is my favorite ninja ♡
Glad that you have new help from that Max guy. I hope he comes in handy in the future. Great spotlight, I don't use Kaze very much but I heard he's good (Your Birthright Playthrough lol). I always use Saizo or Kagero since they have much more strength.
Ok mangs this is a new edit style and i must say it really fits BUT please do the highlights for the stats and skills a bit stronger . Like a diffrent color.That yellow is a bit weak.

Have you considered doing one of the kids? Of course, they change depending on parents, BUT they have default stats, so there's only so much that their parents can shape them (growths before classes are the average of their own default and their variable parent's default). Maybe the Awakening clones? Heck, you could do a double feature, comparing and contrasting a clone vs. the original (Caeldori vs. Cordelia, Asugi vs. Gaius, Rhajat vs. Tharja).
Vantage and Astra also fill the shield gauge though, making them quite useful for Kaze. Admittedly Duelist's Blow won't do much against non-1-2 range enemies, but it can still be useful Also Kagero's Dart is the shuriken version of the Sunrise Katana, so giving him one of those makes him an outstanding dodge tank.
A good spotlight as always but I do think that Kaze benefits from reclassing to swordmaster to get vantage and Astra. The former isn't great but the latter, combined with a solid crit chance, still increases his output. It also gives him proficiency in swords for axes and bows both of which beat hidden weapons and give him some extra damage. Astra is also good to pass down to Midori as it helps her damage output on player phase
Nice new layout, it looks so much better than the one from the wiki, also, enlisting the movement is a bit redundant, as every tier one footsoldier (except for armor knights, those having 4) and generals have 5 movement, then the tier 1 mounted units and great knights have 7 movement, promoted footsoldiers have 6 move, and finally promoted mounted units have 7. (ik there's the outlaws with the +1 movement skill so shush)
@Mangs could you explain what the differance is between the 3 versions of the game? (Still haven't watched you lp's cuz I'm not shure if I shoudl buy it or not (I was a bit let down by Fire Emblem: Awakening))
I only ever saw Kaze use Miraculous Save once, in the battle against Silas in Birthright. He was supporting My Unit, and Silas got extra strength out of nowhere and nearly killed her! Had no idea of the ability at the time, so it was a pretty awesome moment :D

Mangs, Kaze benefits greatly from the Swordmaster line due to Astra and since his skill rate is high, he will have have a high critical rate meaning he will probably make a critical during the Astra. Furthermore if Kaze's final class is Master Ninja, Swordfaire will boost damage on the use of swords
TBH Kaze is the best ninja in the entire game. he has high speed and decent Str and skl. that's all a ninja needs since he can avoid alot of attacks and hit back and do some damage back (not mention later debuff and poison strike it) also he frequently activates lethality which is a one KO as long he deals aleast 1 dmg which he always does. also I always put vantage and Astra on kaze because it makes him almost unstoppable if he is paired with another unit. just be careful to not get him in range of bows or axes unless he has equipped the shuriken does inverts weapon triangle (forgot name) and if your thinking why put vantage and astra? well kaze always can support aleast one hit which makes him a good mixed phrase unit as long he has a pair up (you could use replicate to pair him up with himself to not lose exp with other units) with all of these and his amazing speed, he can avoid alot of attacks and attack back or even kill them if he activate astra,lethality, or a critical which isn't hard for him to activate due to his decent skill and if he takes damage he's always get the first hit unless it's a spy weapon (unless you have him equipped with a spy shuriken which can be useful since he can activate all his skills and crits with it) that being said if he activate astra or lethality while at the same time activating vantage, which again isn't very hard for him to do. he either kills the enemy or has enough guard for pair up to guard the attack if it was gonna be an unlucky hit. yeah he's like one of the best unit in the entire game.
Fates is some of the best thieves in the series with Kaze being the Best then Kagero then Saizo then Niles along with Shura being a pretty decent pre promote with Niles, and Saizos kids being decent to amazing
7:49 Yes my favorite thing in FE, the Dragonskill Skin. Good job consistently mispronouncing things once per Spotlight Mangs! Having both Astra and Vantage on Kaze while being the lead in Defense Stance could be useful if he's in such a position, as his high Skill could save him from a lethal hit since Astra fills up the guard gauge. Granted, I would never rely on it since Proc isn't reliable in general, but it's a good thing to have just in case.
Well, if you happen to have an Aether skill, you can use it on Kaze, and it made him stronger A LOT! Aether and Lethality Skill made my Kaze a formidable opponent!
After Kaze died one time when I first played it, I think I accidentally let him die again. So I was like: "Never again shall this man die on me!" Ever since then, he never died.
I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but Kaze's name means "wind" in japanese and the way you say his name properly is when you pronounce the "e" at the end of his name it sounds more like a uppercase A
Ah Kaze, he tends to be a good unit for me, I benched him on my Lunatic Conquest run cause my Corrin had more strength and 1 point of speed less than him so yeah. On my first run I used him and he capped strength as a master ninja, plus I believe he has the highest speed cap of any playable unit in the series (that is not a child character) at I believe is 41, there are very few characters that would be able to not be doubled by him unless they have wary fighter.
Ahhh Kaze who I always tend to leave behind(his low damage output makes it so easy for him to fall behind) and in my latest Birthrights walk thru forgot about the A rank part is now dead....

Hey, Poison Strike's effects can also be affected by Resist/Immune Status. They halve the effects of this skill and negate it, respectively.

Yes, but that's PvP where everyone has max stats. Through normal gameplay you rarely see it activate.

Having both Astra and Vantage on Kaze while being the lead in Defense Stance could be useful if he's in such a position, as his high Skill could save him from a lethal hit since Astra fills up the guard gauge. Granted, I would never rely on it since Proc isn't reliable in general, but it's a good thing to have just in case.

Well, if you happen to have an Aether skill, you can use it on Kaze, and it made him stronger A LOT!
Aether and Lethality Skill made my Kaze a formidable opponent!

I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but Kaze's name means "wind" in japanese and the way you say his name properly is when you pronounce the "e" at the end of his name it sounds more like a uppercase A

Ah Kaze, he tends to be a good unit for me, I benched him on my Lunatic Conquest run cause my Corrin had more strength and 1 point of speed less than him so yeah. On my first run I used him and he capped strength as a master ninja, plus I believe he has the highest speed cap of any playable unit in the series (that is not a child character) at I believe is 41, there are very few characters that would be able to not be doubled by him unless they have wary fighter.
Ahhh Kaze who I always tend to leave behind(his low damage output makes it so easy for him to fall behind) and in my latest Birthrights walk thru forgot about the A rank part is now dead....
