Actually, it already happened! :))) During those lockdowns they both did it together online "live from home" - Aurora's famous "Runaway". I saw it, but it just so hard to find this video. Of course, this was just a small experiment from them.
I want to see Eivor and Tyr do something together.
Yes, she is classically trained. She is from the Faroe Islands but studied opera in Iceland. She can do, and has done anything from folk, jazz, art pop, rock through to classical.
I'm amazed it has taken you this long to see this. Eivor is incredible.

Every time I see this video I cant get over how far she backs off from the mic for that last whistle note. The sheer power of a trained soprano in those high registers is alarming up close!
The ”primal” lyric-less section of this song is sung in a style that is very familiar in Scandinavian cultures, including The Faroe Islands. It’s called kulning. Although this song is not a straight up traditional kulning, it’s an incredible example of it and how it can be creatively incorporated into a different piece of music.
She is a Nordic spirit who walks the earth. She has no equal and she literally takes my breath away.

I saw her live last year here in finland, amazing experience. She deserves all the success she has had.
I'm from the Faroe Islands myself. And she is deffinately one of the most talentet (if not THE most talented) artists up there. BUT, also her band are made up of the very best musicans up there
I am kind of obsessed by her voice! And sooo much emotion! I just can't stop listening to her! Just out of this world!

Classically trained soprano with a Masters Degree in Traditional Nordic singing
Eivor is such a wonderful talented singer! I prefer her live and in her native language of Faroese which is the closest living language to the Old Norse spoken by the Viking Norsemen.
She sings the theme and OST music for the tv series “The Last Kingdom.” She also learned throat singing from an Inuit woman and is amazing at it!

I saw her sing with Heilung at Hammersmith in London in January. She was their support artist. I think it’s time you did Anoana by Heilung. The official video. It’s very emotional.

Her guitar work is definitely overlooked, she has studied electronics and applies her knowledge craftily, her pedal board is quite a exquisite piece of work.
at that more primal style when at the end of the phrases she flios her voice up they put the echo and it repeats that high bit, sounds like a bird in flight in a stooorm aaaah lovet loveher
When a woman, or a man for that matter does the' primal thing' you oughta believe they effing mean it! German here, we listen up when this happens. Signal of serious intent, ask the Romans on the other end of the stick of it! When you hear that, seek shelter or stand your ground and you better be a warrior! Walkyries don't mess around...
The very high vocal passages remind me of the young Kate Bush.

You should also take a listen to her interpretation of "Hounds of Love", the music video version, not one of the live ones.
But take a listen to the Kate Bush version first. I think you'll agree, that Eivør does a better version.

The Faroe Islands are a country that is ruled by Denmark, BUT has a unique culture and language --- check out any of her many videos of "Trollabundin" ( Trodlabundin ) in which she sings in her native Faroese......
You should react to ironmouse opera singing. She was a trained opera singer then caught a rare disease cvid. She can't leave her house and was bed ridden for years and nearly lost her voice. She's on round the clock oxygen and medicines but now she's a vtuber and sings and it's amazing

She holds 3rd place on my favorite female singers list, after Angelina Jordan and Aurora. i think that aurora is a bit overrated. she is good for sure and very unique, but i think that eivor outshines her in every aspect. plus: i think that susanne sundfor should also get more attention.

Yes, your videos seem to often stutter a lot. You computer clearly can't handle recording at the same time as watching a video. You can try lowering the YT video's quality when you watch it. It will be easier for your computer to process then. You can also lower the recording settings for the overall quality and resolution. So perhaps you should record in 720p instead of 1080p. Would help a lot. It's always better to have lower settings and a smooth video than higher settings and a stuttering video. Stutter is very hard to watch.

Trodlabundin next and preferly the version from 2013 in Norway and i promise you will be baffeld of how versatile this lady is in her songwriting and skills. It is a top one for sure and sooo far away from this song.
