Eivør Pálsdottir is from the Faroe Islands, but she performs in three or four different languages, Faroese, Icelandic, English and maybe Danish. I spoke to her in Norwegian after a show many years ago, she is a very nice person.
I support this request. Beautiful song and video. She also performs in the Series "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix and also transmitted by the BBC. She got this job because of the above requested song. There is a documentary about this somewhere on TH-cam.

The venue and the scenery in this video are amazing, but in my humble opinion, it is far from her best version of this song that can be found on TH-cam. Spectacular nonetheless, though.

I just saw Eivor live, in Aschaffenberg, last weekend and it was everything I could have hoped for. Amazing show from start to finish.
I am so glad you have been introduced to this incredible artist that is Eivor! Together with Floor Jansen and Aurora, they form the “trio of women in my life”! The way their voices/performances touch every corner of my soul is unmatched. Hope you continue the journey with Floor and Eivor and that you get to discover Aurora as well, she is a very special human being although still young.

Spectacular! I’ve only just started exploring her music and I already know she is going to end up being one of my favourite female artists. Sometimes called the ‘Nordic Kate Bush’, she is very open about how much Kate inspired and influenced her music. She actually did a very good cover of Kate’s ‘Hounds of Love’ single.

Just in case it’s not clear from the other comments, the singer’s name is Eivor, as far as I known her band doesn’t have a formal name. She is from the Faroe Islands.

This song seems to be purpose built for couples reacting to it. Definitely check out Trodlabundin too, the video linked already is my fave version. Or just watch all of the Last Kingdom, Eivor features prominently in the music of that show.
If you've seen the show The Last Kingdom (based on Bernard Cornwells books), she sings the theme song in that. In fact, there's a whole album from that show with her singing. I like to put it on in a creative mood in my studio, because it always sets my imagination free.
