fun fact: i actually went into chinatown w my family mb a couple weeks ago, and we got ice cream from the chinatown ice cream factory, and they said the fung bros were there only an hour/45 min before us 😭😭😭

It is, I used to walk from City Tech in Downtown Brooklyn across the Manhattan Bridge to Chinatown just for some food. My freshman year I had a 4hr gap in classes due to enrolling late, man I used to have fun walking that bridge at night in search of food, I miss it.
You wanna laugh? I used to hang over there EVERY Saturday religiously, & I felt it was tiny. But now watching the videos & them invade each and every shop, makes me feel like I missed out on a tremendous gold mine now that I am gone :(

Yes to part 8!!! Went to some of the places you guys recommended. I’ve seen all the videos for chinatown eats. They are great. But why are there some franchise stores you guys visited like the bubble tea place or the dessert drinks. But small stores like sweet house desserts and some hole in the walls on east Broadway you guys haven’t visited. Go try them!!!!! They are great.

I live in Manhattan and always learn so much from you guys. Bravo! Have been going to Nha Trang for decades and it's among my favorite restaurants in the city. I love so many dishes at Nha Trang, but keep coming back for their Pho Suon Nuong Rice Noodle Soup with thinly-sliced barbecued pork chop on the side. It's simply incredible, and for under & 10.00, an incredible bargain. Also, the staff at Nha Trang are the absolute best...and the owner is warm and personable. Per your suggestion, I tried the Watermelon drink. Awesome. That's now a staple at ever Nha Trang visit.
Fun stuff. I was raised in the PNW but i spent lots of time on the East Coast to go to school and beyond. I like myself and life better when I live on the best coast, but who knows where life takes you. Power to you for doing both and staying true to yourselves. My family is in and around Seattle and the Big Island. I gotta explore Kent next time I'm back there. Value Village and Fred Meyers plus a couple of Asian supermarkets are my go to. Freddie's!

8:15 Mì Quảng hải sản rocks (although I prefer mì Quảng cá lóc) but salad greens need to be mixed in the bowl with the broth. I use to go for a 50% noodles and 50% salad. Mì Quảng broth is much stronger than phở, there's a lot less in the bowl and coats everything all so well. Salad greens and warm mì Quảng broth make for a great combination.
You guys are so amazing. I keep rewatching and drooling. Just bought Yee Li roasted meats for dinner (again) such a great find thanks to you! Gosh the Nepal one was so great. Been a fan since I lived in LA when you guys were in the 626. Please do a report for absolute best crispy fried Chow Mien. Its such a specific fave and haven't really had it great since the SGV. Used to be a phenomenal place on E bway and Market.. gone for a few years.. that place was the BOMB. Keep up the good work
These are such great videos, this whole series is just incredible. I now have a huge list of all these great places in Chinatown I have to try out! Part of the fun of these is playing the Fung Bros. Drinking Game: every time the Fung Bros. say something in unison (usually with their chopsticks raised up towards the camera, with food), and then begin eating, that's when you take a drink. But after seeing your videos ( im now addicted to them btw) I've now made it as part of my tradition to visit every location on your videos 🙂. Me too! Trying to get to all the reviewed sites. So tasty & fun. Went to King Dumpling last week. Got their frozen pork/chive 50 dumplings for $11.
