Originally came across Saigon Social while scrolling through Yelp and Im finally able to get a deeper look into Helen's type of food through your videos and it looks bomb! I got to connect with her and asked her about her food via DM and she is so nice and she has such a gentle voice based off your videos😭Definitely going to check her restaurant out when corona cools down in NYC, hopefully soon!
It really warms my heart to see American-born Vietnamese and Thai (along with ABC of course) building on some of the greatest food in the world. Traditional Vietnamese and Thai restaurants try to recreate the food of their homeland but it's never the same; sometimes close and other times not. It's not possible for these restaurants to make truly authentic food outside of their homeland. But the new generation is taking the best from the West and combining it with the best of their parent's heritage. The results are stunning and they're building some of the best new food trends in the US. Thank you Fung Bros. for not only bringing these places to our attention but also supporting local restaurants that are really suffering during these very hard times. Your videos are fun to watch and bring a lot of folks a lot of happiness. =)

I'm digging this proper future Asian food. When I hear Asian fusion I usually roll my eyes because it's a white owner adding kimchi or one element of Asian flavour such as soy marinade with a major price hike. This is legit asian fusion
I agree there's a ton new Vietnamese and Thai places opening up in the past year especially in Brooklyn with Bricolage, Di and Di, Falansai, High Low Beverage Company and Mao Mao. Please make part 2 in Brooklyn
Any true Vietnamese especially from the south still refer it as Saigon and really never acknowledge it as Ho Chi Minh. We pretend that the fall of Saigon never happened even though it did.

First off great video Brothers. I really think from what I see living in AZ, that Asian Fusion will grow and expand positively. Eventually my thoughts are it will replace the Traditional fast food Asia restaurant style.
Damn! The 3 places looked pretty nice to try, the fusion food can be great or terribly bad but it seems those restaurants have made it good. But the price u paid, was it balanced? Was it worth it?
