The Tiefling that is paralised can be cured using Lesser Restoration, she'll get up, thank you, and say that you're free to take whatever you want except the chest she was guarding, i don't remember correctly but maybe there's a check you can make to make her let you loot the chest too.
For some reason, despite doing all that, she got quite mad at me whenever I tried to interact with anything in front of her, must be some bug.. But once the tieflings leave, you can get all the stuff anyway!
4:39 - "That everyone missed" meanwhile I grab it every playthrough since finding it in Early Access (around Patch 2 or 3 iirc). Same with Timber and the rat's "evil thing" (first full playthrough at launch as my Ranger and had Speak with Animals active at all times). Not to mention helping all of Ethel's victims because I blew her up in her cabin. (Usually try to because it is funny.) With Pardina, cast "Lesser Restoration" and she can walk again, letting you grab the chest (as long as you don't do it when she is looking).
I always sneak next to her (there's a small area between the chest and the container against the wall) and lockpick the chest while she's paralyzed. The "Evil thing" is the key to the container that usually has some poisons in it. Padirna typically only reacts to stealing the soul coin book if she doesn't see you pick the chest or loot the container.
Feather Token: This is a real D&D item from the Eberron books, it is a one-use consumable that casts Feather Fall on you once. This is in the game as a D&D reference.
Cool, didn’t know how to safely wear whispering mask, thanks! Even rarer to rescue Sazza from Emerald Grove, Goblin Camp and Moonrise Towers in one playthrough- no cool dagger, but does unlock an achievement.
Funny watching these videos to discover I already found them all but then realize he said after 1k hours playing and im on hour 3000 lol.... I need help apparently... Just a tip for everyone. Always speak to every animal you find you will not be disappointed.
You can heal Pandirna whit lesser Restoriation, theres an amulet whit that spell hidden below a rock nearby a bear fishing and crying for halsin on the grooves coast. Edit: sorry for my bad english
@toyhouse i found an interesting way to get the noble stalk easily by using the other fungus guy as he doesn't setoff the green fungus. You simply ungroup and use move on the noble stalk. Just keep doing it until it's where the party is. This also works on the backpack.
Assassin's Touch is made to be used in tandem with Drow Poison, which is fitting since it's a drow weapon. Dual wield and use the offhand weapon coated in the poison to put someone to sleep, then use Assassin's Touch in the mainhand for a big combo hit (since the necrotic damage is a damage dice, it too also crits so it's actually a 2d4 enchantment in practice since hits on sleeping targets are auto crits). It's a neat little combo that is inconsistent due to enemies on higher difficulties having boosted saving throws, plus it gets powercreeped by the Ritual Dagger of Shar.
Pandirna is easily cured with Lesser Restoration(bonus points for using the free-casting of it from the amulet of sylvanas). Pandirna will even mostly ignore whatever you do in the shed after that.
To get the achievement with Shazza, you need to rescue her 3 times: in Druid Grove, in Goblin Camp (from Minthara), in Moonrise Towers. Only then the achievement will count. This is highly unlikely in natural playthrough and that is why so low percentage of players unlocked that. However, probably a lot more saved her, so the reward is not so rare as described.
Little point out to the statues and priestess gut, you can actually destroy the statues yourself and get the animation. I use it alot to kill all the goblins by luring them under it
I feel special when you say that 100% of players missed something and a couple of the secrets I have been doing since my first playthrough, like the dagger on the boarflank.
Swapping a dagger for the pact weapon in trade window still works. I started an Honour Mode run with the express purpose of cleaning out every vendor in the game. 😄
Saving Saaza is a rare achievement because it's for saving her 3 different times throughout the game. I reckon many players do help her out in the Grove.
Imagine coming to someone else's channel and trying to tell them how to speak or post. What would make a person like that think their opinion is important enough for him to change the way he markets his videos? Maybe entitlement? Answers we'll never know.
When I saved Sazza on my most recent durge character, the quest never updated after I spoke to Sazza and Minthara but when I walked out of the camp Sazza was about to be tossed to the spiders but I couldn't interact with her or her captors.
0:30 Something I found on my own if you feel this is too cheesy: you can drop a backpack into a trader's inventory and move all their stuff into it. Then, if you kill them or knock them out, you can take their backpack off them with all their stuff in it. I don't know if it's always reliable, but I've done it twice and it worked both times. Idk if this is a known exploit or not
Legit way to get all their stuff. Best is with traders who you will interact regularly. Aaron in the grove for example. Every time you level up a character ( happens a lot in early game) he will get new stock. So level up ONE character. Check Aaron, move all his stuff into the bag. Level 2nd character... ditto. When you finally decisde that you are not coming back to the grove. Kill Aaron, or knock him out, and take the bag.
The paralyzed girl in grove you can just cure it, with druid spell lvl 2. Or any cleric with same spell. Also there is an amulet behind an rock where a bear is catching fist that have the spell.
It appears the Feather Token was expended by the skeleton(person at the time) when they fell into the tomb. They couldn't get out, so they died within leaving an expended Feather Token.
the coin's description said that the magic would be expended upon use. maybe whoever that skeleton was had used the coin and then died with the coin in their possession later on.
If you kill Laezel on the Nautiloid, she will appear on the beach, allowing you to ressurect and thus recruit her before even fighting the brain thingies.
You can JUST bypass ALL Ethel’s house straight to Mayrina, knocking the hag out with non-lethal in human form and then switching to lethal (dont forget to FIRST kill all read caps in the area). In death she auto-reveals her true form, talk to the corpse, take the info regarding babe so that Mayrina wont freak out. Done. Hag dead, corpse looted, all victims that you could save are saved, Mayrina free, no battle.
Theres also a spear i havent seen anyone mention, when you come across the siblings that the owl bear killed there brother hes holding half a broken spear, if you go kill the owlbear the other half i lodged in its head, you can combine it to make a new spear, a uncommon one, i cant remember its name its the absolutes sonething or other.
Do the masks allow you to see where the real hag is? (Not that it's all that difficult to figure out anyway, but it would be a neat interaction since it seems they disrupt the hag's illusions).
0:30 I don’t think that would work, as far as I can tell from the testing I just did after hearing this I don’t believe you can equip something in the barter menu.
I didn't know the trader trick, but that was the only one.. and why I didn't know it? I'm playing on console and it's NOT possible, was never, because of different UI.. we cannot drag and drop and using the interact menu does not give us an equip option.. The rest are more things that only like, idk, 10% of players missed, bcs they rush through the game instead of looking around
Don't speak about the trader glitch as if you know what your talking about, saying console can "probably" just equip to do that is so naive and just shows how little you know. No console cannot do that and the UI is completely different, so no the pact weapon glitch is fixed and PC players don't even need that glitch because the backpack glitch exists.
Ok so as console player, i never had a problem with gold. Every lootable small location will net you uo to 4k gold. i found a container book on the blighted village, to the right of the windmill outside the outerwall where you rescue bracus, its hidden in a hole.
Yeah, I always use that book to store scrolls.

Since Pandirna can't move, you can easily have another party member sneak behind her and open the chest while she's sitting right there.
Pandirna can be cured with a lesser restoration.

The ongoing war against trade menu exploits is one of the fun recurring bits in the Larian patch notes.

Pandirna's paralysis might not get cured automatically, but it can be easily removed just by casting Lesser Restoration on her.
