It’s a high persuasion roll if you convinced him to off himself in Act 2, but he’ll join you freely if you solve the riddle by killing the last Dark Justiciar in Shar’s temple and free him from the contract
You can fight and kill him without convincing him of anything and still convince him in the house of hope but its a very high roll. One thing that always pissed me off about the freeing him from his contract is Raph shows up and makes some claim that the contract never said he could outsource help. I wanted to scream back at Raph and say, yeah and it never said he COULDN'T either. Since devils are sticklers for details it bugged me I couldn't point out that detail.

Your 1st one is partly incorrect. All you have to do is have zevlor alive when you leave act 2. No desicions need to be made and you don't even need to interact with the pods. I know this because I missed zevlor in act 2 completely , but still got the scene and portrait from orin
"children can't die in Bladur's Gate 3" you say as you control Arabella's re-animated corpse on screen lol. I get what you meant, I just thought it was funny watching this zombie child whack mushrooms while you said it :P
This game is easily one of the greatest games of all time I know a lot of people don’t like the turn based combat but the entire game is just beautiful
Got the first two things on my first ever playthrough, didn't even think they were that rare... But the Zevlor reveal genuinely made me gasp the first time I saw it

First, help him in Act 2 so he can be freed from the contract with Raphael (talk him into suicide basically). Then in the fight against Raphael talk to him and there will be an option which will make him side with you against Raphael. If he survive the fight, then you can talk to him and convince him to be your ally. Your journal will mention him as an ally who will aid you in the final battle.

@@Refi_studio you don't need to help him in act 2. I killed him in Act 2 in my first playthrough and still could convince him to join me against Raphael and he was available in the final fight.
I knew everything here except for spore servant Arabella, and The Grand Infernal Painting. Truly insane that they added something for if you interact with the illithid prisoner device, AND DON'T DO ANYTHING
Gerson is probably a clever NPC add-in for when you're playing a multiplayer session. It's not outside the realm of possibility that a player might not be in the Goblin camp when things get wrapped up, so if they have to move a bunch of NPCs, then it seems like a good solution. But this scene only triggers if you're at the front of the Grove, what if you're inside? All the NPCs just disappear? I guess it's not a perfect solution, it should probably activate anywhere in the Grove. Regarding the Secrets of the High Chieftain, you can also convince the Goblin to give you the book if you don't go into the Goblin camp hostile.
I got the grand infernal painting even when I completely ignored the room with Zevlor cause I didn't wanna fight the mind flayers and what the eyes don't see the heart doesn't feel 😂 But yeah, then this appeared in my camp and it really gave me a scare oof
Pretty sure children can die in BG3. Arabella to Kaghas snake Teela and Mirkon to the Harpies. I have yet to reach Act 3, so these tips are super helpful. I wonder how many allies I can get in the final fight, like all at once.
Also I'm pretty sure that if you bring Arabella's/Mirkon's dead body to act 2, and let them become shadow cursed undead, you can then control them with the oathbreaker paladin's ability
The grand infernal painting can still be obtained even if you don't interact with the Mindflayer console (Trust me, I would know )😥 In my first playthrough, I assumed the mission diamond that appears in the minimap for saving Zevlor would be the final encounter with ketherick, especially considering that I entered through the backdoor Myrkulyte labs. I wanted to leave it at the end, so I went for the elevator instead. When I saw the cutscene of The Dead 3, I was too enthralled with the story and Gale to continue. Queue act 3, When I received a grim reminder of my negligence, I was so f'n sad. Several hours had passed, so I didn't want to redo that again. Thus, I resigned myself to move on.
Thanks, so many weird things to discover. In many playthroughs, I stumbled upon 1/3 of those mentioned in the video. I also got Zevlor to join me for the final fight in my first playthrough.
Fascinating, I didn't know the painting was that rare, I got it on my first complete playthrough lol 😅 I let the pods be just because I didn't want to kill Zevlor but I also didn't feel like fighting mind flayers either so I was just like "ah, I'm sure he'll get out SOMEhow". And in a way, I was right 😂 It is quite a gorgeous painting, I did leave it in camp and I admired it every time I passed by it
I noticed people saying they decorated their camp with something. How does it work? We get different camp sides. Is the stuff we put there not disappearing when being in another camp?
@@michadybczak4862 Honestly I haven't the faintest idea lol. I just put stuff in my inventory and when I bring it to camp, I put it in and around the only empty tent. But that was a more recent thing I started doing. As far as whether or not the stuff you put down comes with you once you move to a different camp? I don't think it does? More room for decor from the different areas I suppose lol
I managed to get Isobel and Aylin to join me but I guess the gather your allies quest is bugged because they didn't show up for me. Neither did Mizora and Valeria. Really disappointed
Whenever you convince Yurgir to off himself therefore fulfilling the Contract that Raphael made with him ot frees him from his Pact, you meet him again in the House of Hope and he then Thanks you for his release but at the same time you must pass a saving throw to convince him to fight along side you against Raphael after you kill Raphael he joins you in the final battle.

New mention: This a basic game mechanic but a powerful one to understand and nobody has mentioned it for tactial info on BG3. During combat you can see the 'order of initiative' broken into several groups because initiave itself iike a D4 or something like that. Within each group you can select who takes a turn, if its your turn, This can alleviate frustrations like party members blocking other party members at doorways or simply wanting a certain spell cast before anything else. Ive also done things like "movement first, actions later before ending turns" It was a game changer for me to discover, that and the "highlight all actors during combat" hotkey. cheers man love your vids!
Not to discount you but that was kind of something that TH-camrs covered about a year ago. It's one of those widely known mechanics that most seasoned players know (especially if you've also played divinity original sin 2, which is still an amazing game and I'd recommend picking up) but still obscure enough to new players to not know. So it gets left out in this kind of limbo where everyone that knows, assumes everyone else knows
@@0-kingsloth-020he means you can select a different character at the start of combat or in a different order other than the character you snap to in turn AS LONG AS they are the next in line to take a turn. If your character has to wait for an enemy to take a turn then you can't choose them yet, but you can choose anyone that takes a turn before said enemy

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but if you choose the "purge" option on Zevlor's pod the bodies will get dumped into the hole underneath the prison. After defeating Ketheric you can just go there and pick up the loot (If I remember correctly one of the Fists has an unique sword).
The zevlor thing will actually trigger if you don't interact with the device in act 2. I kept missing the fact that zevlor is even there for my first 3 runs and i got the pic with dead zevlor in camp.
With Arabella in my first Playthrough. I saved her and found her parents AND I did tell her about it, in a calming good way. After that she always told me to go away even after multiple long rests. In Act3 she was gone and left a letter and Withers told me HE had told her about her parents because I DID NOT. So the quest can bug out and I had her not in the final fight.
Gerson, or the character looking like him, shows up suddenly near the entrance to the Last Light Inn, when you skipped meeting with Isobel and go outside the Inn. He sprouts warning that we need to go to Isobel for blessing, because it's too dangerous outside without it. My suspition is, he is a random character shouting certain messages and appears only if needed. In the last playthrought I slaughtered the grove, so he is not with the group of tieflings by default.
Many thanks. I've been looking for that inspiration for a good while. Looks like it also works for clerics of Selune. Not sure if it works for Yondalla but I'll keep you posted. Update: It works! Now if someone can figure out how recast speak with dead works.

Fun story in connection with the praying for the fist soldier: With Shadowheart, I casted Animate dead on teh corpse she was praying above, then the fist started a fight, used non-lethal attack to knock her down, then (SOMEHOW) I was able to target the corpse (which was a ghoul now next to us) and PICK UP the corpse. Then I put it into the camp chest, and after a long rest, the first soldier apperared at my chest, on her knees, praying to the chest. This only however work for the first - outside campsite. Since then every time I open the camp chest, I must say the same prayer: "Great god Helm, allow us peace in this plane and beyond; teach us care when we would be reckless, teach us certainty when we would have doubt! So it is spoken, and so is it done."
The Gerson npc is meant for multiplayers it seems. So NPCs move and to let players who split up from the ones killing the goblin leaders and letting them know the story progressed
In Act 1 Waukeen's Rest, there's a room that's usually locked and barred from the outside that cotains a panting of the Red Prince from Divinity OS II, i only found out on my third playthrough this game is bonkers
with the first one you don't actually need to click on it at all if you just walk past it you still get the painting that's how i found it out in a durge play through
1:11 the Zevlor piece, you don’t need to interact with his pod at all in act 2. Just did a durge run and honestly I’m not sure I ever once spoke with zevlor and got the painting in act 3.
Is that a recent change? 4 months after release this scene would not trigger at all if you didn't interact with the pods. I should know it, I accidentally ran straight past them. I always though Zevlor just ditched the Tieflings as I never saw him again lmao.
honestly, I couldn’t say for sure. It’s not an aspect I paid too much attention to and only made note of it because it happened shortly before I saw this video.
The Thisobald one isn't necessarily true, you just need to acquire the ingredients from the stache, and the purple worm guts to unlock it, but story wise yes the recipe you find in his lab will give it to you if you don't discover the stache before.
I'm surprised you talked about Antuwun and didn't talk about his dead werewolf lover who took his own life with the acid and who's body is found in a hidden room between the chamberlain's room and the room where you find Antuwun's body. Not sure if you've talked about it in the past? You've covered more secrets and rare interactions than anyone else after all.
Youre wrong about the Zevlor painting. I got it on my very first play through as a tav because I missed the mindflayer pods entirely. You don't need to be a durge and you don't need to interact with Zevlor's pod
10:41 - There's no real explenation though how you can get him inthe final fight. do you have to promise to kill rapheal or something? yes I could look it up but I think if you say get X to join you. You should definitely explain the how. Otherwise it's a great video with things I haven't seen myself, kudos!
So I'm not sure if you noticed this but in act 3 there's a dead Badger and a "mysterious hole" by the destroyed house in the back in the outside camp. Ya know anything about it? It seems like ya can't get over there from what I've tried
At the start on the ilithid ship, I accidentally clicked on the other intelect devourer. (The one that's running about between the tutorial chest room and Shadowheart's pod room. It responded to me with "you are beautiful" lol. (I was a high elf dark urge at the time)
The one with the spore servant, is it possible to use other children as well? I kept the one who died by the harpies because I thought I could revive him. He's still in my inventory because you can't put him in a chest like others. Would be nice to know
I know how to make Yurgir join you in the final battle (convince him to join you in house of hope against raphael and then talk to him at the end of the fight) but in this video it looks like you are in the sewers with him .... i don't get it
Children can't die in BG3??? The Tiefling Child in The Grove that was attacked by Harpies would like a word.😢 My first campaign I Long Rested while in Grove before meeting them, qnd they were gone already when I got there
saving zevlor is not an 'easy to miss' moment. it's literally a chamber most people find. Thisobald's potion recipe is also pretty easy to find. I reckon with regards to content 99% of people miss, it would be carrying the brain in jars from the Nautiloid in the prologue all the way to the Mind Flayer Colony in Act 2, to listen to the memories within on that machine.
14:35 actually i got that inspiration point by selecting the history option and choosing the subsequent "i hear it's against the law to harm spiders for followersof lolth". So there's 2 options at least
How to get urgir to join you but you don’t explain how to recruit him !! lol but you always make dope videos so I’m not hating. But I do wanna know how to get it

with the first one you don't actually need to click on it at all if you just walk past it you still get the painting that's how i found it out in a durge play through
Out of all the things you listed, only 2 were new to me. I'm not sure if this makes the title clickbaity or if I'm just too obsessed with this game...
When I saw the title, I thought, "I'll bet I haven't seen any of these." Surprisingly, I'd seen two of them.
I also imagine that's a slight nod to Romeo and Juliet.
You forgot to mention on how to get Yurgir.
I noticed that too! 😮
He answered in the comments
I ignored him and the pods altogether on my Playthrough and I still got that
You actually can get Viconia to join you if both Shadowheart & the Nightsong are no longer living.
I never interacted with the pods but I still got the painting with zevlor :0
That painting is pretty cool
Youre wrong about the Zevlor painting. I got it on my very first play through as a tav because I missed the mindflayer pods entirely. You don't need to be a durge and you don't need to interact with Zevlor's pod
10:41 - There's no real explenation though how you can get him inthe final fight. do you have to promise to kill rapheal or something? yes I could look it up but I think if you say get X to join you. You should definitely explain the how.
Otherwise it's a great video with things I haven't seen myself, kudos!
In the Yurgir section you describe what he does, but you cut the explainer on how to get him to join you.
So I'm not sure if you noticed this but in act 3 there's a dead Badger and a "mysterious hole" by the destroyed house in the back in the outside camp. Ya know anything about it? It seems like ya can't get over there from what I've tried
Yeah I'm really interested in that area, now that you mention it, I might try shapeshifting into a Badger to burrow over there!
Yeah I tested it and I don't think there's any way to get over there!
@Toyhouze Well crap, sounds like we might have to use bugs to get over there. Cause it's been bugging me since last night
At the start on the ilithid ship, I accidentally clicked on the other intelect devourer. (The one that's running about between the tutorial chest room and Shadowheart's pod room.
It responded to me with "you are beautiful" lol.
(I was a high elf dark urge at the time)
Somehow I get thisobald's poison without reading the book! I wonder if it's from finding it in other saves.
Yea, these are actually stuff i've never seen.
Hey! Yurgir is powerful, I would love to know how to get him in the party!........ You forgot that part and only talked about what he can do.
The one with the spore servant, is it possible to use other children as well? I kept the one who died by the harpies because I thought I could revive him. He's still in my inventory because you can't put him in a chest like others. Would be nice to know
jokes on you i got the grand infernal painting on my first playthrough. i wish i didnt lol
Anyone know what helmet they have equipped in the first two sections? Looks sick as hell.
I got the painting on my first playthrough but I didn't even see the pods
i'm crying pls stop calling her "korga" it's "kahga"
I know how to make Yurgir join you in the final battle (convince him to join you in house of hope against raphael and then talk to him at the end of the fight) but in this video it looks like you are in the sewers with him .... i don't get it
''Children can't die''. Clearly you didn't killed the goblin kids in halsin prison
Children can't die in BG3??? The Tiefling Child in The Grove that was attacked by Harpies would like a word.😢
My first campaign I Long Rested while in Grove before meeting them, qnd they were gone already when I got there
Aren't there are 4 Spectators? Flask, Underdark, Scholars guild in BG, Last fight ladders to the brain?
There are also two spectators in the House of Hope, I think...
Omelum also sells a book "On Ithillids" that is a guaranteed inspo on gale.
I got the Grand internal painting in my 3first playthroughs
Mirkon can definitely die to the harpies!
Ingot the zevlor death in my first playthrough but i was in baldurs gate already so there wasn't a painting
I ACCIDENTALLY FORGOT ABOUT ZEVLOR
"Whenever you would want to cast feign death"
does that mean if we twinned spell it, we get infinite power word kill?
So many things i still didn't encounter even i am over 3k hours in bg3. Well it includes EA from the start of it. 😊
Has anyone tried to see if you can pickpocket Gerson the bent?
Power word kill while holding blood of lathander. Do you still lose the spell???
You never actually said how to get Yurgir!
"let Arabella die" The Community Disliked that...
half the stuff you named is something most everyone did. i did half of the things u said on my first play
saving zevlor is not an 'easy to miss' moment. it's literally a chamber most people find. Thisobald's potion recipe is also pretty easy to find. I reckon with regards to content 99% of people miss, it would be carrying the brain in jars from the Nautiloid in the prologue all the way to the Mind Flayer Colony in Act 2, to listen to the memories within on that machine.
The Arabella one
Korga?
You mean Kagha?
Given the spoilers in this video, I guess I'll watch it LATER. 😑
So how to get yorgir to join you 😂?
14:35 actually i got that inspiration point by selecting the history option and choosing the subsequent "i hear it's against the law to harm spiders for followersof lolth". So there's 2 options at least
How to get yurgir to join you... doesn't say how
Korga
How to get urgir to join you but you don’t explain how to recruit him !! lol but you always make dope videos so I’m not hating. But I do wanna know how to get it
Ok I rewinded because I thought I was crazy hahahahaha
90% of this video: How will XY join you
