This was awesome and many young men are eating this type of doctrine that is strict but true, leading and directing and if followed it is so good and hopeful! Imagine being obedient and listening to this guy and rejoicing? We all can do it! Jesus can help!
I love to listen to Elder McConkie. In the 70's there were lots of talks on the prophecies of the last days. Ppl really thought it was imminent. We have been warned for at +least 50 years.. Now we can see all the signs increase. But President Nelson has spoken clearly. Wereat the last hf of the 9th inning and the reserved team has been called out! !
If only the church would understand Revelation in the Bible and truly preach the end times!!! and answer questions like... "What is the mark of the beast?" "Who and how will anyone get the mark of the beast?" AND MORE IMPORTANTLY "What is the seal of God?" "Who and how will anyone get the seal of God?" This is what should be proclaimed to everyone!!!
Answers to those questions certainly are important, but they aren't what will get us to heaven. It's through faith in Jesus christ and living after his example, becoming more like Him, and repenting that we will return to the father. We are to teach nothing but faith and repentance unto this generation. Even if you know about the anti christ, Mark of the beast etc, those things aren't going to bring you to the fathers kingdom...
@@jaromjones7087 you are definitely right! Just knowing the answers to those questions will definitely NOT save anyone. But knowing the answers will definitely help the person to not be deceived by the devil, and his agents, as we go through the end times and get ready to meet our Saviour. The devil is ever working to get everyone to lose our focus, and take our eyes off Jesus.

President Nelsons talk was literally "the Lord Jesus christ will come again" how much more plain do we want it??

Which talk was that and when given? I d love to read the whole thing.
It was given April 1980. It is entitled "The Coming Tests and Trials and Glory". It is the most prophetic talk I have ever heard.
