I have the older 20" Tactical HB in .308 with a 4-16x50 Burris Eliminator 3 digital scope, but I want that stock on it!!!!!! S-E-X-Y!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure my magazines and OEM Steyr stack of butpads to increase the length of pull will fit just fine.
The only thing Steyr left off on this stock is an adjustable cant on the end of stock, but that can be forgiven.
My only other plan is to have the end of my barrel threaded so I can use a silencer on it.
My only complaint with this rifle in 338 lapua is when rounds are ~$8 each 😅😂 oh, and wanting a scope for it that costs nigh as much as the rifle itself

I bought the SSG 04 300 Win Mag in 2008. A bit heavy but still on target at 1200 yards 15 years later. Why pay a lot more for the SSG 08 that is extremely expensive and has little use?

Why didn't you try jumping? I know that Valve nerfed jumo scouting a while ago, but it's still possible if your aim is good enough!

In my opinion, the SSG-08 is one of the most satisfying sniper rifles yet.
Any success in getting the muzzle brake off?
I got the same Bipod, it's called Fortmeier Zweibein. Gun's from Austria, Bipod's from Germany. That's why all these strange names...
So, when you want to make it more sticky, remove the two screws per foot an replace it with longer ones that you made spikey. Works perfectly.
Does your bipod fit the factory spigot?

Got one in .300wm and factory camo paint.
Hunt gray&ringed seals with it and it works phenomenally as a long range varmint rifle with a Delta optical stryker 4.5-30x56 scope and 178gr hornady eld-x bullets pushed to 3150fps.
