Both are fine. The centrifugal blowers are probably the easiest to install. I went with a turbo application so I could adjust the boost in the cab so the truck could run 87 octane to 104.
67-72 had the "bump" along the side of the truck. 73-79 is when it has a "dent" going along the side. the front of the f2000 looks most like a '72 grill. a 67-69 grill looks alot different than the 70-72 grill so it is based off a 72.and just fyi, there isnt a such thing as a '69 f150, its f100 :) . F2000 is still my dream truck!
You are correct re the F100. Just habit saying f150. Re the grill, the black area is shaped from a 67-69. Then we re-shaped it to reduce its height and gave it a slight crown to make it more current. Then we used 72 grill inserts.
This I beam set up is actually more expensive than had we built an A arm. Had we center mounted the a arms, the engine would be in the cab. It is a pre-reunner with a small cab so we opted for the twin I beam which offers more travel than the a arm in this situation. Try $70k motor

@VALsacount2 its a manual shift automatic. There is no drive gear. Several reasons. One is that with this hp and the loading and unloading of the rear end over jumps, a torque converter reduces load on drive train.
Not a stupid question. Its a common misconception. The turbo comes after the air cleaner. The turbo doesn't like dirt as much as your motor. So as long as you protect the turbo like you would a naturally aspirated engine, your ok. In the end, the turbo only cost hundreds of dollars to rebuild from damage, the engine is thousands.

There is no definition for a Trophy Truck, except that it is a class designation. As such since this truck has no rear frame rails it would fall into a TT category. TT's have changed over the years, early trucks were set up very much like this truck newer ones have 39" tires etcs. So by class rules and wheel travel, motor etc, it would fall into the TT category as defined by the rules.
4x4 means extra shit to try to carry gracefully through the air...for example, my 8000 pound cummins dodge just cant fly worth a shit, but man, can she pull. Not a ford guy but fordish twin beams from hell look like they are really doing their job, not to mention the rear suspension is sick too. that thing looks sexy smooth while eating little hills at a prodigious rate
Its such a sick ass truck, the only thing that bugs me is the i beams. If your gonna build a super sick looking truck like that why would you put i beams on it? Put some A arms on that thing and link it all the way around with Kings, damn thats such a sexy thought!!!! yeaaa!!!!!!

It's still a good truck. someone needs to make one of these with an engine that has overhead camshafts and EFI. Plus an independent rear suspension.

It sits level in a static position. When your on the gas it squats in the rear. This helps keep the nose up going over bumps
i've seen this truck in lucas oil expo and its a one of a kind.
Oh, and the shot of the turbo spinning, was accomplished by putting a camera after the air filter in front of the turbo.
