Mario is gaming's biggest mascot, but what is he hiding? Is he really the hero everyone thinks he is? Have we overlooked one too many of Mario's heinous crimes. In this two part series, we put Mario on trial to see just what is going on inside the head of this "paragon" of the video game industry.

That's what Nintendo wants you to think Mari. They try to hide it, but no more. If Mario really was pointing for Yoshi, wouldn't Mario at least be pointing with his finger? He keeps his hand in a fist when he "points". When Mario clears a level, he shows a peace sign with his fingers, so the creators of the game could've had him pointing with a finger.
But hey, it's just a theory...
Maybe there will be stronger evidence towards Mario's inner evil in part 2
Until then though I am still thinking that Mario is probably still the hero here.
There's another dark part in the Mario series, specifically Super Mario 64. There's an area in the Hazy Maze Cave where Mario can ride Dori, a giant blue dinosaur that happily gives Mario a ride. But have you noticed what you have to do to make her stop moving when riding her? Mario ground pounds her back. Now since she's so big you might think that the ground pound doesn't hurt her, but it shows that it does. When you ground pound on Dori, she roars with pain! It's also possible that she puts her head down because the ground pound hurt so much that she must rest. When she regains her strength, she continues to swim again until Mario decides it's time to stop.
But hey, it's just a theory. A Game Theory!

From MatPat’s voice, to the graphics, to the memes, to the background music, and to the general vibe of the video, this video is better then most videos in the future of The Game Theorists.
Something about this is charming nostalgic and feels real now it's high production and too smooth animation which would usually be a great thing but idk doesn't feel like a human worked on it this feels very human and fuul of character

Yeah it's kind of strange watching older theories, because hes still the same person, but he seems almost like he isnt. I think the persona from older vids was definitely from the old TH-cam, before everyone was aware of some of the things going on across the platform. Now it feels more corporate, and peoples personas have changed go fit that, sometimes unintentionally. Not to say his new, enthusiastic TH-camr voice persona osnt interesting or anything, it just feels more forced to me. Haha, sorry for the small rant, just been thinking about how this has been happening more often on peopels channels recently.

Also want to add that in "Bowser's Inside Story," a DS game, Luigi doesn't even get called by his NAME. Bowsers says, "Mario and Green 'Stache" Woooooow they don't even know his name. Poor Luigi

it's after Mario saves the day again. Everyone is celebrating the return of Princess Peach, and praises him. Luigi, who had helped save Peach is thrust to the side as all the attention is put on Mario..
and he snaps.
Luigi begins screeching at Mario before running off, leaving them there all shell shocked. Mario shrugs it off and continues to bask in glory, but it is later revealed that Luigi has joined forces with Bowser, and that he is going after Mario.
*Cue epic music*

....He's embarassed, that's normal for Luigi. Luigi is a timid character by nature. That's why everyone loves him. he's the underdog.

Mario is obviously a dumbed down easier copy for the smaller oblivious kid. And Mario himself is jealous of Luigi's physics. Sliding is awesome when you can handle it.
