In the manga it's implied yusuke mom knows the yakuza aka mafia through yusuke's absent dad who does pay child support and thus yusuke smokes and has connections to get him through school even when he misses time later on and of course gets them an apartment later too when their place burns down....the anime doesn't touch on all this cause then yusuke is less relatable
Botan bubbly personality really contrasts her job as a grim reaper and the sad tone of this ep well...she is a breathe of fresh air...most characters in her position are annoying
Yu yu hakusho is at its core about growing up maturing bonds and responsibilities and trust....and being true to one's feelings letting them out...the rest like the lights and fights is just fluff...making most of your second chances and not judging a book by its cover are main themes as well
The thing was they needed yusuke to help them later so they lie about the ordeal and him dying being a waste and that the boy would of lived if yusuke hadn't done what he did
Where there's smoke there's fire...yusuke probably does do bad things behind the scenes without a male strict good role model figure in his home life it's expected..... keiko even says he can't whistle but we see him whistling so she doesn't know everything about him...clearly..and his mom is young lost her education family support and partner while raising yusuke alone so she deserves more love from him and you....she cares..she just doesn't have her stuff together
How fast was that car going at an intersection in the city to kill yusuke lol..75 mph in a 40 zone max lol...that dude needs jail time or else if he was going under 60 it makes no sense how yusuke died when he hit the window not the bumper or tires..he's strong for his age or for humans in general so that should not have killed him instantly
Yusuke put the ball in his crotch area then handed the ball to the boy smdh..also where is his mom he's like 5 and kuwabara reason for fighting yusuke so much gets explained way later around ep 90
