The Final Game Published on the Nintendo Wii

In November 2019, Ubisoft released their final game on the Nintendo Wii. That game was Just Dance 2020. Many people believe this to be the last Wii game ever released, but that is incorrect. In this video, I show off Shakedown Hawaii by Vblank Entertainment. This game was a brand new port of his game to the Nintendo Wii, making it a totally original Wii game released in July 2020. I think this game is cool, and I wanted to show the world what the actual last Wii game ever was.

60hz compatibility has been a thing in Europe since the Dreamcast days. Pretty standard, in fact, with 50hz-only games being the outliers. Early European TVs couldn't handle the 60hz signal, so it tended to be a boot check when launching the game to check what signal you wanted. That was during the Dreamcast/GameCube era, but that changed a long time ago.

I did notice that Shenmue 2 had a 60hz mode, and when I looked into it like 95% of PAL Dreamcast games did. I was worried that game would display in black and white on my TV.

It was only for Wii U in the US, because Nintendo of America had already shut down Wii publishing by the time he asked. He was able to squeeze it through Nintendo of Europe before they completely shut down Wii publishing though, which is why it's a PAL only release.
