- We've come to the conclusion there is no such thing as a normal day on the Forgotten Homestead. But that's not a bad thing. Today it's just about getting stuff done as well as trying a new thing. It's time for Jason to be the Guinea pig :-)
Sunday is flerd day!!
This is why we escaped the rat race a few years ago. We had no idea we'd end up here but we are so grateful we have.
We intend to enjoy the journey in this new life we’re building on the smallholding, not rush through it, so that means changing the way we do things. We try to find a solution that means we can slow things down, enjoy the day, and worry less about where we are going and more about where we are.

Morning. It felt like being under attack :-). I could not believe the sheep and cows - for the first time ever - did what they should have. I thought you’d be watching crazy Jason and Yvonne chasing various animals around the wrong fields - which is usually the case :-). We both hope you and the family had a lovely weekend. :-)

@@HKTeacup I think there was so much momentum to make things happen - possibly at the worst time of year - it's carried on through given a sense of "We Can" I can't tell you have lovely it feels to have the sheep in their forever home and a place we have full control over. I'm sure it will make us very poor but it's worth every penny. :-)
