    PIA retired all of its classic Boeing 747-200/300 & 737-300. Now B772/773 used to cover international and domestic routes with Airbus A320 and ATR 72 aircrafts mostly in northern terrain areas. One of the world's best pilots. Hope to see once again to regain it's goodwill

    Airframes are old yes, engines not as efficient yes, but more brains in the cockpit.

    The missing link between the 200 & 400 models.

    • @faranbutt180
      @faranbutt180 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Eric Lozen The 300 model was basically a stretched 200. Some airlines before the 300 model came out, were converting 200 models intro SUD (Stretched Upper Deck) models. Boeing saw the opportunity to release a stretched upper deck model straight up from brand new (instead of converting existing 200 models) officially to most airlines, hence the 300 was born.

      My grandpa retried as a DC-10 Captain for Continental in ‘79. My dad was a sim instructor for United and we brought my grandpa in to fly the -10 simulator. He was pointing to the flight director trying to figure out what it was. When my dad finally told him “Well, fine. Turn that POS off.” The old salt could fly it better without it.

    Why the 3rd uncle pressed level contineouly ?
    Is PIA getting lots of profit so they hire 3rd person to just put hand on lever ?????

    • @h.4rry677
      @h.4rry677 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Lol the 'third uncle' is the flight engineer. Boeing 747-2/300 have flight engineers. Nothing unusual here. Also the reason he continously alters the thrust is because the thrust levers have a tendancy to pull back thus cause slight power reduction.

  • @Tune9551

    Once again no seatbelt for the captain. The first officers seem to wear their belts. Why not the captains? Surely they should set an example to their subordinates.

    • @johnduffy5448
      @johnduffy5448 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Captain is wearing his seatbelt. He only released his shoulder harness. All crew members are required to wear seat belts anytime they are in their seat. NOT required to wear shoulder harness except during takeoff and landing.
