Beautiful and amazing plane. Awesome takeoff and landing that sounds amazing by these great pilots. Beautiful view outside these windows with amazing landscape, terrain, and skies. Love the taxi; you can see some other amazing planes. I do enjoy listening to and watching this video. Awesome video, I love it.
It is amazing how ridiculous and ignorant this comment section is. Yes, what happened to that PIA A320 is sad and unacceptable. But that crash should not be a reason to bash Pakistani pilots because whatever happened does not apply to every pilot in the country. From a very young age, I have always heard that Pakistan has some of the best of pilots in the world. In terms of pure piloting skill, to this day they still have one of the finest Air forces in the world. Many of the PIA pilots are ex military. They are so good that when Iraq was in its prime, they used to send their fighter pilots to train with Pakistani air force. And Iraq back in the day was just second to US, in terms of their military power.
The other thing is, the pilots in the video are getting bashed for doing an automatic landing. For you information, this automatic landing might just have done to re-certify the aircraft. The aircraft needs to automatic landings periodically to ensure that the systems work as they should, so when the time comes for a real automatic landing, that it is ready to do it.

For training purpose, sometimes pilots have to perform full autoland procedure. It's completely normal.

Autopilot was disconnected before, it's just not in the video. The aural sound at touchdown was not the autopilot disconnecting.

As for the ongoing license scandal in Pakistan, the facts were highly exaggerated by the aviation minister who is now facing an enquiry in court over the reckless statement he made following the crash of PIA A320 in Karachi. Not denying the fact that there are many loopholes in the licensing system of Pakistani aviation and some pilots use unfair means to obtain licenses but that does not apply to all the pilots neither should their abilities be questioned. Keep in mind that these pilots undergo currency training in USA mostly where FAA approved examiners clear them. If they're so bad at their job then how come the FAA revalidates their currency? It's impossible to do so without meeting the FAA flight standards.

PIA is not a safe airline to fly with, either due to the airline itself or the airports it flies to. It's accident report speaks for itself.

lol no , the autothrottle wasn't even off before the plane touched down so yeah no
that’s a standard technique. when he pulled the thrusters , the main gear had already touched down and teh nose gear was slowly coming down.
@@Owlventure_Aviation To tell the mean gear touch down is the speed brakes being deployed since its weight on wheels. The speed brake wasnt even deployed yet and he is already moving his hands on the thrust reverser and pulling them.
