You really need to start doing/testing these theories with weaker teams... I noticed all your videos are with a top tier school.. which gives you a significant handicap in all aspects of scouting/recruiting.. js..
I rarely schedule a visit after the first year or 2 depending on what i started with because you get to winning and lots of coach points by then makes it so easy
I like to do visits with four offensive players at the same time or defense they get an extra boost! With a hard sell and blow out the team you playing against you’ll sign all 4 recruits
It's the only way to schedule tbh.
But I've dumbed down my recruiting to actually make it fun again I go after 15 4 or 5 stars and the rest 3 stars to be somewhat realistic and not cheese the cpu
Early visits are necessary for elite prospects you don't have a pipeline on, or a low pipeline. Get those guys in on week 3 or 4. I always make roon to get four visits in on an esrly week because the sokner they commit the faster you get more points back to recruit other players
Used this technique this season.... about am 80% success rate which I'll gladly take.
Ive found its usually 2-5 prospects per class that need visits
I'll be honest, I've been ahead in the commit stage on a 5 star.... had a visit that week, won the game.... lost the recruit that same week.... granted I was Kennesaw st and it was Bama... but damn 😂
In an online dynasty they’re so useful. Stole a couple 5 stars just because I could get visits in so early
I rarely schedule visits during the season. My hard sales do very well unless I am up against a school with a top tier pipeline and it's close.. Most of my visits are during the offseason since it's very condensed period of time
If you are in a 32 user online Dynasty, make sure you set a visit asap !

So you've never heard anyone from east of the Mississippi pronounce the state's name. Because most people east of the Mississippi pronounce it the way that he did. And yes we know that it's not the way that the people from Oregon pronounce the word. That's just how language works. Most people pronounce Louisville incorrectly

@@MrBobbyz24 it was an observation. But I’m aware of how people pronounce other cities differently like Louisville, New Orleans, and St. Louis…etc. Just never heard Oregon pronounced that way, clearly I’m from the other side of the Mississippi River. Lol
@@creamabdul-jabbar6722 I’ve heard it that way too. It’s usually pronounced that way or like organ because it’s easier and a tad shorter. lol. But it shows how USA is such a big country and it shows the different versions of English.
I feel hard selling lately has screwed me
In year 4 of my OD I decided to do no visits at all. I ended up with the #5 class with Virginia. If I could go back I WOULD have scheduled visits in week 12/13 because by then I had points to spare. I will not do visits early.

@@tstumpf75 true but just another strategy then next step is to hard sell and soft sell and lock up him for sure :) all depends on having a lead on other schools :)
I like your videos a lot (I'm an avid watcher!!) but I think some of the examples in here don't work. For a number of these, you might be neck and neck, but you aren't maxing out hours and you have a ton left to spend. For some of these, you also have a higher pipeline than who is immediately trailing you, meaning simply upping the hours per week on the recruit would likely do it.
I did like the anecdote re: taking hours from the 4-star to ensure a visit with rhe 5-star; I think those are the important trade-offs to think about and ultimately shifting hours is what it comes down to when trying to schedule these.
Visit really work when you upgrade the skill for visitors 1st slot is good enough 3rd slot they commit 70%
In an online dynasty I am tied with another user in all ways and I scheduled a visit probably about commit week. This is how you use a visit.
Early visits can win the recruitment much earlier. So if I can in the first 5/6 weeks I like to schedule visits to guys I must have and to get them to commit earlier so I can regain weekly points to put on other players. A 40 point visit is much cheaper then 40 point hard sell for 3,4,5 weeks. Also if another team puts visit before you they can easily steal them even if you have lead. Only put 10/25 points on lower ranked guys at beginning and can then put 50+ on them once must haves commit. Also say you are spending 60 point on someone and change to 20 point soft sell for one and schedule visit. That visit can gain you more influence then going 60 points.
Also if the ideal pitch doesn't align fully good grades but you have 1 that does other teams will outpace if there grades align once you hit top 5 so visit may be only way to get the player.
Offseason Recruiting Visits can be very important, especially for transfers. Otherwise, seldom ever unit.
Yeah you have too!! If your college isnt 4 star, im rebuilding my cal bears and usc and oregon have taken peope that had cal number 1 the entire time. Lost the number 1 dt to bama lost the number 1 qb 2 years in a row to usc and oregon. And top rb to oregon while leading the entire year
Good explanation on visits are not worth doing just because but sometimes can get you over the top and win a recruit.
Your 2 examples of recruits you weren’t gaining as much as Ore and Texas, you did not have max hours used for the week either or you would be out pacing them.
I use them as a tie breaker, or if I'm falling behind and I have no other options.
I have the #1 recruiting class @ The U in year 2 with no visits scheduled
My guys usually always commit right before they ever visit unless its like week 3
5 stars I schedule anywhere from week 7-12

Visits r for transfer portal and I feel like your more likely to lose if you make a visit
Have you tested what is more valuable, an average visit vs. just a hard sell?
Obviously there is a ton of variance here, win vs. loss, quality of opponent, in addition to how well your school lines up with their hard sell interests.
I’m just curious if in a situation where you are in the lead, with a good chance to lock up a recruit, would it better to schedule a visit INSTEAD of hard sell?

No you shouldn’t.. unless you are in a close race and the timing of the visit has to be immaculate

@@cutigeralum1 users are more likely to schedule visits really early than the CPU is (in my experience)

@@cutigeralum1 it won’t decrease because you have other actions that are gaining like the visit pitch. You just don’t gain what you could have if that makes sense

1:40 yes that guy is locked up but if you schedule a visit with some complementaries you’ll save points locking him and others up faster. It’s still situational but it’s better to lock them in quick.
In Offline dynasty I never use visits it's a waste of hours!!
