I noticed you are selling the car on Craigslist. After all the work I would think you would enjoy the car. You did an awesome job, thanks for all the video information.
@@DailyDrivenE36 I lived in your area not long ago and Dealt with Schatz and Krum BMW, did they help with any of your wiring or smog referee issues? I have a 96 factory Dinan M3 but I am seriously considering the swap you did. Did you make a video about the referee station and what they actually needed? The price are your car is very reasonable and tempting at $15K.
To delete EWS: MSS52: Search for "64 00 46 00 00" and set the first "00" to a non-zero value MSS54/HP: Search for "64 00 5A 00 00" and set the first "00" to a non-zero value You would use a properly modified ODB2 FTDI cable and BMW Flash to read tune part of the ECU. If you have any questions I will share.
You still need to get wire harness adapter so if you get it from them its free unless you just doing EWS delete then its a good way of saving money. Its good to know that you can do it your self. Thank you for the info.
Elie Chemaly i don’t know, probably yes but I don’t think it’s going to be cheap and you will still have to do something with the original harness, you can get same harness i got from ebay and have seller ship it to you jut talk to him b4 you buy it
Hey Mark, I contacted Jonathan from Redline and I can't tell you how helpful the guy is. I think I've sent him about 25 emails with questions from the most stupid to "hey, is your harness working fine?" and they guy ALWAYS fairly fast, even though I am 17 hours ahead of his time zone. I completely vouch for all your comments regarding his service. By the way, I am putting an m54b30 into a 318ti e36. Check it out at instagram.com/bmwupgradeproject

@@DailyDrivenE36 correct. Though no one should pay for swap coding or ews delete for mss54 anymore
Can i do the swap with a stand alone ecu without any of the original wiring harness because i doubt i can get the harness you have in my country

How did Redline-Motrorsport did DSC delete? How can I delete smg?
Dušan Mišić they didn’t, I had one of the local guys do it, i don’t know about smg but ask redline motorsport they might know how or do it for you.
Does this swap require the epedal swap or a throttle cable conversion applicable?
Chan Nghiem you have to use e46 m3 gas pedal (ez swap) and wires for it come with engine harness adapter.
Nice built, just curious if you had to buy an after market engine mount kit. if so, who did you use?
Perry Hoang thank you, u don’t have to (i didn’t) i used oem s54 mounts with oem e36 bushings
How do you like the swap ?
Chan Nghiem sorry but i don’t like it, i love it 😁 this is one of the best engines for this car
Also all XDFs for TunerPro MSS54/HP coding have been released: github.com/saildot4k/MSS54-XDFs
