      Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus rex is probably the most known dinosaur because of its massive size. Tyrannosaurus rex is abbreviated to T-rex most of the time. ‘Tyrannosaurus’ is a Greek word which means ‘tyrant lizard’ and ‘rex’ is a Latin word.
      History
The T-rex lived 66 million years ago in the late Cretaceous Period. It was one of the most ferocious dinosaurs that ever existed. There are lots of specimens of the T-rex in Natural History museums all over the world today. In 1997, Sue Hendrickson discovered an 85% complete T-rex skeleton and the Field museum of Natural History in Chicago purchased it for 7.6 million US dollars. The T-rex was a fascinating dinosaur.
      Habitat
The Tyrannosaurus rex lived in river valleys and forests in a part of earth which is now western North America.
      Food
The T-rex was a Carnivore (which means it’s a meat eater). It ate all dinosaurs except its own kind. Scientists think that the T-rex can eat as much as 500 pounds in one bite.
      Appearance
The T-rex was 13 meters high and 4 meters long. It had extremely powerful short, small arms but they could not reach the jaw. It had two strong legs, a long tail and a death- defying jaw. The T-rex had forward pointing eyes. The arms and feet have claws.
      Movement
It walked like a human, on two legs but it balanced on its long tail which was apparently heavy.
      Behavior
It is ferocious because of its small brain. Mothers become very protective of their babies.
      Life cycle
A t-rex lives for 30 years. First the eggs were laid. Then the eggs hatched. The babies grow up with their mother and then live on their own.
The T-rex is really well known because of its size and ferocious behavior. It had a famous history. It was a fascinating dinosaur. (Like that?)

yeah there was a giant sea where the great plains are. Based on that info and where we have found it's bones we can theorize that it was kinda like a marshy wet low-land environment where it lived. Plus the Cretaceous Period (66-68 million, not that far away on a galactic scale!) was much hotter than today, plus the way the plates move North America wasn't actually in the same place, which is so frecking cool if you really think about it

    • @armata_strigoi_0

The hyphenated version is actually incorrect. Scientific names have standardised rules. Binomial names have two (essential) components - the genus and the species. Only the genus is capitalised. To abbreviate a binomial name, the genus is intialised, followed by a period and the species name in full. _Tyrannosaurus rex_ is a scientific name, thus the correct abbreviation is _T. rex_ . T-rex is a corruption (in the linguistic sense) of the scientifically correct form.

    #1 MOST ASKED QUESTION
Q: “How advanced will the AI be? Will animals have any worthwhile or interesting behaviour to look at?”
    A:
“Our AI-building process will be iterational, which means it starts basic and receives more additions to it as time goes along. We obviously do want to make our animals feel as alive as we possibly can, and we believe a proper looking herd and pack behaviour is going to add much to that. Add hunting, a somewhat dynamic fighting system, and breeding to the mix, and you got yourself a lively bunch of prehistoric animals.” - Mau
    #2 MOST ASKED QUESTION
Q: “Will the animals be able to reproduce?”
    A:
“Yes, animal reproduction is something that we’d love to develop in the future. We are hoping to include basic breeding at launch if possible!” - Byron
Q: “Will theropods be possessive while eating like we can see in modern big cats?”
    A:
“Potentially. Animal behaviors are something we still need to ‘flesh’ out completely (haha, get it?), but you can be sure to expect some messy, aggressive eating animations for our Tyrannosaurus, that’s for sure.” - Nathan
Q: “Will albino and/or melanistic animals require special care?”
    A:
“Our plans regarding mutated animals aren’t solid at the moment but we feel that it’d definitely add an additional layer to animal care and management. Much like the real world, we’d like albino animals to be more susceptible to disease and weaker than other members of their species - potentially dying off at a younger age. Because of this, objects like shelters and stricter habitat requirements will be more necessary to keep albino creatures healthy. Typically, melanism has less health impairing effects than albinism so they would be easier to care for but don’t quite offer the same level of park bonuses that might be seen with albino critters.” - Byron
Q: “Will there be a sustainable ecosystem?”
    A:
“That’s something that we would like to do and something we’ve thought about. Ecosystems really come down to balance, at the end of the day. This question is something that we can’t really answer until the game is done, or almost so. Technically, it might be possible, as animals will breed, so as long as you can keep a healthy population of animals going, an ecosystem might be possible! It’s not a priority, obviously, as this is a park building game and not a nature sim.” - Nathan
Q: “Zookeepers forming bonds with individual animals?”
    A:
“Bonds can be created by breeding young creatures and quickly introducing a keeper into their paddock, reducing the chance of an attack from an animal later in its life. Similar effects can be achieved by hiring workers with a higher skill level. This trait may carry over into future generations, though we’ll see!” - Byron
Q: “How do you plan on keeping the game interesting after all objectives of building a park have been completed?”
    A:
“That’s a very hard question to answer as this is an issue with pretty much every park building game; once the park is “finished”, what else is there to do? First of all, it’s in our best wishes that the management features that we will include in the game will prolong your journey and keep it more interesting as you work your way to 5 stars and a finished park. Once you have reached the “final goal”, we’re hoping to shift focus more on to maintenance of those 5 stars. There’s always dangers that can happen to ruin your success, for example, natural disasters, dinosaur breakouts, illness, bankruptcy and more. Additionally, we’re hoping our creativity tools and building variety will keep you imaginative enough to continue to find new ways to build plazas and unique exhibits. Another thing is the animal behaviors themselves, as we’re hoping to keep them varied enough to keep you watching for pretty extended periods of time. Animal behaviors will be especially cool once we implement the genetic traits system, as you’ll be able to have pretty diverse behaviors… imagine a hyper aggressive Psittacosaurus nipping your guests!” - Nathan

We don't know what T. rex sounded. Scientists can only speculate based on modern relatives. It could've roared like gators, bellowed like emus or make deep hellish chuckles like those cassowaries. All we know it that sounded deep & it probably could make infrasound (low-frequency sounds inaudible to humans), much like elephants & cassowaries do today.

    • @armata_strigoi_0
      @armata_strigoi_0 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@i.m.evilhomer5084 Indeed. For some reason people seem to think that one famous simulated vocalisation sampled from other random archosaur calls is definitive. Even worse, I hate how it's taken to mean no alternative vocalisations would be possible. The vast majority of animals make any number of calls depending on the behaviour. It's especially ironic if you've heard the kinds of "roars" crocodilians are capable of producing.

    • @Andrey.Ivanov
      @Andrey.Ivanov 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Technically it wasn't able to roar because in order for the sound to be specifically call a roar the animal needs to use its diaphragm, and only mammals have a diaphragm. So in that sense humans are more capable of roaring than T.rex was. But I feel like some people are to quick to disregard the possibility of dinosaurs still being able to make louder bellows or grolws just because we don't know if or what kind of vocal apparatus they had. The simulated low frequency sounds are more like "what we can suspect with relative confidence" but are most like not the only sound that these animals made.
