Hi Mick Thanks for sharing authentic information. Let's hope. Please make a video for best practices of Dental implants. A very happy new year to you both.
I have watched many of your videos but this was so helpful you gained another subscriber. Thank you! I also enjoyed your food prices in Fetiye. Would love to see one on eating vegetarian, like hummus, baba ganoush and greek salads, pita's and sauces. Continued blessings to you and Trudie.
Hello dear Mick and &Trudie, great to hear from such a intelligent and informed us .You are so inspiring, your words make sense.Thank you so much.God bless and peace grace both 🙏💙🦋💙🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for recommending a nice local guy. That's wonderful to support ethical people. Do more videos on this as I don't want to drop 250USD on a house just yet until some changes happen there. Language is easy I pick them up every country I live in. Chinese was the hardest. Turkish is a doddle
a small correction Mick..the foreigners who has got already a "permit of residence" (blue book) they have a "kimlik no-id nr. " too which starts 99......until they get citizenship (if they apply) they use this nr. everywhere on any official processes online(like e-devlet) or personally in police office,post,bank.. . and turkish phone number is asking because calling the british or euro. numbers (all over in countey-thousands every summer) would be a huge cost for the offices and much easier for communication.I live abroad too as a turkish i had to give always a number of that country where i want to live..and believe me in turkey these things work much better ,friendly than in italy, france and in many countries:)))
Just make sure to not send any money upfront unless you are already here or if you completely trust the people you are dealing with. Even Turks get scammed quite often with offers that look too good to be true. AND NEVER EVER make the payment without being in the same room of the owner. At the registry the officer will ask the seller "did you get your money" , if he says no the sale won't happen. As a matter of fact, just deal with an official realtor just to be 100% sure.
Another way as we did we went to a lovely man called Yakup Yilmas in fethiye he did everything for us for a small fee. He took us to all the relevent places we needed to go to to get all documets sorted.
thanks again for the great info, for me its very usefull. hope that everything works out fine and get my turkish passport soon. just 1 thing, you forgot to mention that if you want a turkish passport, make sure that you still want to hold on to your own passport. (dopuble nationality) very important
Hello. We are retired seniors from Texas and are thinking about buying or leasing in Antalya. We easily meet the requirements from your video. Our primary concerns are living in an English speaking community and in an upscale area of the city. We do not care if the home is an apartment or a single family home. Furnished or not. Our issues for you are getting set up for life. Examples are bank accounts, utilities, drivers license, and getting a new car or SUV. Your video addressed the government offices and the need for an agent. We assume they would be licensed by the state to ensure integrity of the people helping. Otherwise anyone could say just give me your passport and then disappear. So the issues are specific locations with the Antalya area if you know them and the topics above for getting set up. We do not need help in arriving in Turkey. Thanks
Very Blessed Christmas to you Mick & Trudy! All your videos are informative, most of all, its truthful, convincing & create trust in your viewers especially potential people who planned to move to Turkey. I'm wondering if you have a video on information on 1) Cost of living 2) Where do you begin to recce Turkey especially first-timer into Turkey before deciding to settle in or retire in Turkey. Thanks much again for all your wonderful & truthful works! Keep it up! May you be blessed with more!
Hi, I just want to comment on Trudies’ name issue! This matter relates to dual nationality rather than residency, but there may be UK citizens in Turkey who have taken Turkish nationality, and who may get caught out! (Especially women who may have UK passports in maiden names) The UK passport office now require all passports held, to be submitted for a UK passport renewal. You must make sure your name is identical in all passports, before they will renew it! My husband has dual nationality (Turkish and British) An “r” got put in his name some years ago in a clerical error, so his Turkish passport name is 1 letter different to the UK passport! The UK passport office declined to renew his UK passport until this was corrected, and this has been a very long process! This issue could severely delay someone’s travel plans!
Hi beautiful couple I’m from Sydney I’m izmirli I have been living in Sydney for 50 years I been to Turkey 3 times I love it thanks mick and Trudie for showing it
You two are great. Thanks for your hard work and beautiful&informative videos. Turkey is the ideal country for people who want to move away from western European countries. But still, I can see that products&properties are more expensive for foreigners than for locals (which is totally ok). I´m preparing to move out of Germany myself with my wife and have been looking for properties and land for over two years. The fact that I have Turkish roots makes many things easier for me. I plan to give advice and help others who want to take this step. From finding the right region and the dreamhouse to mastering the whole (complicated) process of buying it and even helping in the integration process. Do you think this could help people who want to take this step but don´t dare?
@@mickandtrudie You´re right but what I have in mind is helping with the social aspect as well as with the technical procedures to ensure a pleasant process for people from Germany and England (those are the only two languages I mastered). You could say, I´m looking for future friends.
