This girl sure nails it. I've been married to a Pinay for 37 years, and everything she says is spot on. You ask her where are you, and she will always answer "here" not in the kitchen or wherever, just here. Also, where is so and so? She will answer "there" with no direction or range, just there. Another one is eating with their fingers (kamayan style) after being married to me and living many years abroad she still eats kamayan, but only at home. In company, she will always use utensils. As to their infatuation with white skin. They go overboard in protecting their skin from sun exposure. As has been stated above most of us Foreigners prefer brown skin, it makes no difference to them, they will still avoid the sun. Still, considering the all above, I would not swap her for a white girl: been there and done that - 'once bitten, twice shy'. I'm sure many of you think the same. Pinays beat them all hands down.

Personally, I LOVE the natural dark Philippina skin tone much more than the "European" tone. Don't see why whitening is such a big deal myself (cultural, I know...)

@@Hazokny Yes, it's a status symbol. Darker skin denotes a poor farmer, while white skin is a wealthy city person. The Chinese are very status conscious. Also, being overweight is a sign of wealth to them. In America we admire those who work hard outdoors, or are just tanned and fit, and play sports outside.

I think I can speak for most westerners by saying that we actually prefer darker/ tan skin. I can understand why Filipinas wouldn't want it though, since darker skin is associated with being poorer. If you're on a mission to attract a foreigner all you Filipinas out there.....don't worry...we don't care how white you look. It might be the last thing we care about when it comes to the attractiveness of a woman.....any woman.

Every time I go home all I want to eat is authentic Filipino food. I try to stay away from all the fast food because I can get that in SoCal. Never run to family and friends talking about issues you have with your partner or post about it. Always keep it between the two of you and resolve it. This shows maturity as well. Telling others your business could make family and friends think badly of your partner or dislike them interfering in your relationship over something that you both could have resolved especially when you both still love each other or should love each other. 💯

Oh this was a great episode Rubeauti!
I got a chuckle out of this as my beautiful Filipina bride has everyone of those characteristics except the skin whitener.
I won’t even let her bring those into our home. They are made with corrosive chemicals that are often contaminated with toxins like lead, mercury and arsenic.
I get the cultural significance of light skin in the Philippines but to be honest, and most of my male American friends agree, that Filipinas with a nice, almost dark, Morena color are the prettiest.

    • @Mottleydude1
      @Mottleydude1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@valerykalkey Well those are chemicals too but with the exception of Selenium are safe and non hazardous. Selenium can be toxic at high levels but at trace levels they are essential nutrients and most supplements do not have toxic levels of selenium and are thus not harmful.
Though I do agree with your conclusion that the safest and healthiest approach is to accept what you were born with and not have insecurities about it.

I think you missed an important piece of advise to your viewers. Coming from a poor family, we were always told to clean our plate. Eat all you want, but never waste any food. The first time I visited a Filipino family, and was invited to join the meal, I naturally cleaned my plate. Immediately they were wanting to heap more food on my plate. I didn't want to be rude, so I tried to eat all of that as well. I didn't know until later I should have left a bit of everything I enjoyed, but if I cleaned my plate, that said i wanted more. Maybe this isn't the way things are now, but it was when I was in the Philippines.

I was stationed in Korea twice and my aunt is Korean, use to the shoe thing. If you think about it it makes sense especially walking out and about...but it is also done in the States.
We use our hand, in the States, to eat certain things. Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn, etc.
The wearing long sleeves at the beach is just funny... but I didn't have to ask my Filipina why they do it.... it definitely is a social class type of thing... darker skin means you do manual labor outside... glad my Filipina doesn't get wrapped up it that type of thinking.

I go to Costa Rica, another tropic country quite often and going back to the Phillipines next year with my Filipina wife. So, us older guys will wear cotton, loose long sleeve shirts when outside in the rain forest or the jungle when it's hot and sunny just to protect your skin from the tropical sun. Also, I wear a broadbrimed hat. But, it the early morning or when the sun is getting low, I bring out the T Shirt or Tanktop just because it's more comfortable and the sun isn't an issue. I hate going to the dermatologist and having to burn off skin damage from the sun.

My ex was from Mindanao, near Ozamiz, and we went there during my vacations.
After my first visit, she told me I should have brought "slippers". I thought she meant for when we went inside her parents' house.
On our next visit, I proudly pulled out a pair of "Dale Earmhardt Jr" (house) slippers. The look on her face was priceless. A combination of embarrassment and shock.
It turns out, by "slippers", Filipinos mean what Americans call "flip flops".
Thank God her family liked me so much. Probably more than she did, looking back. :)

Foreigners like exotic Morena skin. Most are not looking for white Filipinas. Rubeauti many of the women in the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America have skin like yours. My last Cuban gf was Morena just like you. Your skin tone is beautiful.

That's also deep rooted in the Spanish culture pointing by using their lips as far as the women

The pointing with the lips I immediately thought of Jo Koy talking about his mom 🤣

You culture point your lips and say "over dare"...lol I make them laugh here when they ask me a question and U point with my lips. I have to say my dogs train the people here to take their shoes inside the door and place them on the shoe rug provided so we don't stumble going out the door. At times I tale one of each and hide them and tell them the dog was last seen chewing it lol. I really have to disagree about cleaning the house...and rice it only give you fullness no dietary benefit but you have veggies and other healthy things . As far as whitening soaps if they could see an MSD chart and cancer causing agents. The most of the rest of the world loves tan skin....we wait all winter to get one for 4 weeks lol. And the picture picture thing doesn't change even if you go to another country....and your right about keep things personal that are personal ...absolutely . GOOD VIDEO

I've heard from "The Filipino Pea" that pointing at someone with your fingers is considered rude, almost as rude as staring at someone

Actually it depends on the situation sir.. finger pointing is a very strong action it depends on the reason of the finger pointing it can be positive or negative..

My GF Jen does the lip pointing and if I ask where something is I get the "there" reply while pointing in a general direction. A funny incident was when we were driving to a friend's house that I had not been to before but we were close I asked her which house it was and she was looking at her phone. Without looking up she said "the pink one", this really did not help because in my immediate view were 5 pink houses :D

Rubeauti you are a beautiful woman and don’t need to change anything about your skin color, The woman here in the USA wants tanned skin and the woman there wants to be lighter and I think the skin color of a Filipina is beautiful and you are stunning.

I really enjoy your videos. You have a great sense of comedy and humor!
Social media IS toxic, it creates unhealthy narcissists and the creators of social media know this. The creators of social media intentionally make their platforms and products as addictive as possible in VERY unhealthy ways which is why they themselves don't use it and they don't allow their children to have smart phones, tablets, laptops and they don't allow their children on social media. Mature, intelligent, caring people understand these things and they put their phones away when they're with others whom they care for and respect. When you're with your mother or father or village elders, are you constantly interrupting your conversation and presence with them by taking pictures of yourself or texting your friends? I doubt it, because you respect them and truly care for them. If this is true for them, then why do it to anyone else?
Being FULLY present in the moment with someone you care for and respect is MUCH more important than constantly taking narcissistic selfie photos for everyone else to envy and admire whom you barely know. Life is meant to be lived in person, together and to be present with one another...it is not designed to be a voyeuristic stage for everyone to act like preaning, envying peacocks. A woman who can't understand this but who always wants to post photos and videos of herself for all of her social media friends is not only a waste of time and presence and heart, but a waste of life...she is a silly fool who does not understand what real life and love is about.
If I was in a committed, loving relationship with a Filipina (who knows, trusts and feels safe with me) and I chartered a lovely cruise / tour for the day or weekend I would ask that we leave our phones and cameras at home or put them in a secured locker upon departure. Social media has no place in our romantic time together. If she wants genuine love and the presence of her man fully given to her, then this would be fine with her. If she is living her life so she can show off to all of her online friends to make them envious of her, then she will not be fine with this. I want nothing to do with the second kind of woman. If photos and videos of us are so very important to her I would hire a professional photographer she was comfortable with who would join us in a discreet way to photograph and video our time together. She could have all of the photographers work afterwards to cherish and share with her friends if she desired.
I watched an hour long video of a young man courting a beautiful Filipina whom he took on a day tour ocean cruise. It was soooooo sad and disgusting how he spent the entire time behind his camera taking photos and video of her while also talking to his go-pro microphone for his "audience" instead of being present with the beautiful woman he was courting. What a complete waste of love and LIFE. If any woman ever did that while with me it would be the last time I ever spent with her. When I am with a woman she has my full attention and presence; likewise, if a woman is with me she is either present with me or with all of her social media friends on her phone so they can envy her. Not both.
The biggest destroyer of romantic, intimate relationships and marriages now is social media, and anyone paying attention to the facts knows this and respects this.
Life is too precious and short to try living it online at the expense of being present with the one you love.

I was wandering around the shops in Düsseldorf with my Pinay girlfriend and asked her where something was. She didn’t respond and I asked her a couple of more times without any apparent response. I was starting to get a bit annoyed about being ignored until I realised that she was pointing with her lips (which I do know about)….
    The problem?
She had forgotten that she was wearing a face mask! 😂🤣😂

Am glad you aren't bleaching your skin... Morenas should be proud of their natural beauty!
So what is the signal if Filipinas want to be kissed? Do they point?
    😁😁😁😁
As for shoes outside... I often forget and if I go outside at night I often scatter them all over the place! No such thing as putting them to the side of doorway!
Actually pointing can be dangerous if a person thinks you are pointing at them!
