To get a crispy pizza (without burning the whole thing) You need high temperature and a way to deliver lots of heat quickly. Traditional pizza ovens have to be preheated for several hours and they have a huge thermal mass that allows lots of heat to be stored and then delivered for hours. Obviously the ninja does not have a lot of thermal mass to store and deliver heat, so you need to compensate. You need to get the oven very hot to make use of the thermal mass you have, and you need to make a smaller pizza to reduce the amount of heat needed. OR You could also use a pizza stone or a flat cast iron pan which will store more heat than the oven alone, but they need to be preheated for at least 30 minutes. You could (which works well for regular ovens too) put the cast iron pan on a stove burner and cook the bottom of the pizza crust on the stove while you are adding the toppings, then take the already cooking pizza and put it in the very hot oven to cook the top. I have done this many times and it has worked perfectly.
This is a great video for us air fryer newbies, except the audio is questionable and I would have liked to have seen how easy it was to get the pizza out of the high edged pan. I have the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air oven, but it should be the same as your oven.
I am here to get a pizza recipe for my Ninja 7-1 Pro Smart with grill/grate. I'm sure this will work by adjusting the size of the dough for the "Air Crisp" basket.🍕🍕
You need to work on your audio levels. Your voice is too quiet and the music is too loud. Other than that good job! I just bought that air fryer and love it so far.
Love to see it done with pizza dough (there are no actual 10 minute varieties) At least you did not do what almost everyone else does and use fruit pie dough. 🤣
Do you have any questions about making pizza in an Air Fryer? Don't hesitate to ask!!!

Pizza is science !!!

Audio has been the bane of my existence.....Pizza popped with a spatula pretty easily. I also found parchment paper helps it out a lot!

I can definitely try to figure this out. The air crisp basket has holes in it right?
@@wefoodhard Yes 😉

Really appreciate the feedback, still working on the more technical stuff. I am very impressed with this air fryer so far as well!
