A quick note:k mixing and kneading of the dough can be done perfectly by hand. You do not need a mixer. I make bread, and different doughs almost every day. All you need is a bowl, a measuring device and a jug. It's easy no machines necessary. A spoon helps :) If you worry about the time it takes. Please don't. It takes time to prove etc. My time is only a few mins now and again. Maybe during an ad break when watching TV etc. Or sometimes if I want a fancy shape i.e. hedgehog, do it on a table whilst watching TV. We all watch a little TV most days. You can combine making bread and watching the telly :) Home-made dough, pizza, bread, whatever tastes so much better than shop-bought. Thank you for your video, its a great introduction and you show how easy it is if you have young ones they can join in, have fun, and make it a play time and they are learning without realising they are learning great skills. Well done and thank you!
Unless you have issues with your hands, or standing. I wouldn't be able to do kneading dough because of nerve and sheath issues in my hands, darn it. I've done it before and it was very relaxing.
@@nigel8499 Have never tried making dough whilst in the bath. I guess if your careful with the bubbles and scented oils ( that's how I like my bath) it should be ok. Maybe have a small table to the side :) Not sure if a ylang ylang dough will taste nice :) It will smell good that's for sure. Best wishes.
I have the one with the holes in the bottom. I got 50 sheets for less than 4 dollars at Walmart. Putting the shredded cheese on top of the toppings, protects it from the toppings from getting burned.
I love Olivia"s excitement about Bob. Way to go Olivia! I see an up and coming air fryer cook, in the making. Cathy, great video. Nice to see you involving your kids in the videos.
Indeed she did hit the mark. Her video is very good. You can try many different types of cheese. The most common is probably mozzarella. I enjoy Swiss, Gyureiere. Why not use a mix of cheeses. Some Red Leicester, or double glouster, stilton, Danish blue and even camembert or brie work well. With those you do need to mix them with a gooey cheese or they tend to slide off :) Play and have fun.
Looks so yummy! Olivia did a great job on Bob! About the order of the toppings; I like to do cheese then toppings, however, my Kroger pepperoni's and one slice of onion took flight and some even stuck to the burner! Lol It was a frozen single serve Red Baron pizza that I doctored up. How can I prevent my toppings from flying around?
Hi Cathy!!! Your pizza looks super delicious!!!...I can't wait to try this recipe of yours...I have a Kitchen Aid Mixer but how would you mix it if you didn't have one??? By hand??? You said that but wouldnt that be hard to do???...Thanks for this recipe... Your little daughter is so...pretty. Real nice shirt you have on...Great Video my friend!!!...🦋
Most hand mixers now days come with a dough hook so it’s possible to do it with a hand mixer instead of a stand mixer. I’ve done dough many times by hand before I got my stand mixer. Use regular beaters with your handheld and once it gets hard to mix, bring in the hands to finish the dough.
Thanks Diane! Yes, you can for sure kneed this by hand... just takes a little more time. It's a nice soft dough. And thanks for the compliment on the shirt! It's very comfortable! I got it on amazon here! amzn.to/3Pp4ZsC
See my post above. I use my hands to make many different doughs. Many think handmade dough is nicer than machine mixed dough. Your hands are more gentle and does not damage the flour as much as a machine. The explanation is quite long if you want to understand damaging the flour. I've used both, my fav is by hand and the time diff, if you include finding the machine, setting it up, cleaning etc. I feel hand is less time and effort. That is my personal opinion not an official comment. Using a bowl and your hands is more convenient, as you can mix and kneed whilst watching telly, spending time with family and so on. With a mixer, you tend to be in the kitchen not sitting on the sofa with family, also if you have young ones, using your hands is a great chance to get them involved and have a great time together. Give things a try, play and enjoy food. I do not know the woman who made this video, her introduction is fantastic and her recipe will be very tasty. Remember with pizza, you put anything you enjoy on top:) Best wishes.
I’d really like to see you do a riced cauliflower pizza crust. You can buy the riced cauliflower at Costco or make your own your daughter really enjoys cooking!
Have you tried putting cheese in the dough? Make the dough as normal. With dough, unless you are really good do not mess around with the recipe. Once made and you are needing, add some finely grated cheese. You can also add in some finely chopped onion, garlic, dried tomato and so on, your only limit is what you can dream :) I sometimes add a touch of finely grated ginger. It lifts the flavours of the topping. NOTE: only use a little so you do not really taste the ginger, you only feel the benefit.
Just a word to you about your cheat sheets they need to be water proof I was cleaning air grease and stuff off of mine and found out the fronts are just paper and I found out water and paper don’t mix. Just thought you might want to know
hey Kathy could you maybe do something on chef boyardee pizza sometime? that used to be the best pizza on the planet until they changed their sauce but it’s still good if you get just cheese pizza but add hormel pepperonis but don’t ever get chef boyardee’s pepperoni pizza now it’s not very good!!!
Great video! Your channel has greatly helped my family. Want to take your channel to the next level? Shoot in 4K on a gimbal and use a remote mic like the one from DJI. Cheap and it would make all your audio match up. Easier editing too. You do a lot of zooming into your kids, a 4K camera (pretty cheap these days) would make those not look so 1980's. I think your personality and your happy little taste testers are the best on YT and I see you changed your channel name. Up'n your game with a 4K camera and remote mic would really help! I can't wait until Sat. to see what you are making next!!! (Cheese, toppings, Cheese) You can't go wrong with more cheese!
Thanks for the inspiration you give and tips and lifehacks you share generousely! After i had learned about Cosori Duo Blaze model at your channel, I contacted the local suplier to ask about this model, and the next day they released it here, I ordered it! Enjoying it beyond the level I could have imagined!)
A question to everyone... Do you know of any airfryer that doesn't have the non-stick coating inside? All non-stick are carcinogenic, so I would much rather have pure glass, ceramic, etc. As long as it could take the temperature
@@Bri-nc8yp Not scratching is not enough. All non-stick coating releases toxins and heavy metals due to heat. It's abhorrent that the industry is using it at all!

Those pizzas look so good and your little one is an artist!!!! Question, have you made bread in the A/F??? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Anita! And YES! Just cover it with foil and bake at a lower temp to keep the top from burning before the middle is done!

I like my toppings on and then the cheese😊

I have a double drawer airfryer so this wouldn't fit. Can it be split to make two small?

Kathy will you try the Ninja Speedy? I heard a lot about them but I trust your advice if it's turley go or not. Thank you.
I would think you could do this with the 2 ingredient dough??

Philadelphia makes a Mozzarella cheese that is basically meant for Pizzas and casseroles

As long as you are not scratching the inside coating of the air fryer you should be good to go. Plastic thongs should only be used with air fryer.
