    DID you ever make a more permanent and good looking exhaust bracket for the z900? I wanna eliminate the passenger pegs but need a hanger

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, we actually ended up selling the bike and getting a ZH2

    Can you Show me how to renove the Front Mask? I will Change the Upper Front mask fairing, But it seems is has hidden bolts inside? And 2 in the sides can u help?

    • @BLRTUNING

      Yes removing the whole front end of the bike requires quite a bit of bolt removal. I haven't shown a video on how to do it yet. I will be showing a video on that when we switch everything over to carbon fiber though

    Thanks for the video Bill, between this video and diagram in the box the install was pretty easy on my '22 z900

    I wish they would make an exhaust for the ryker.

    I plan on not getting headers for mine and I own an 08 Z750 not a 900. But if freaking sounds so good! it's so hard to judge sound on a video while looking at exhaust options for a motorcycle, lol.

      These exhaust systems with the headers sound absolutely amazing

    Where did you get your wheel stickers from?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They were just some cheap ones on Amazon and eventually they peeled up on their own anyway so ended up taking them off. We actually ended up having the wheels powder coated blue later on.

    do the header flanges need to have to numbers facing the bike I noticed you said that just curious why? I may have installed mine the opposite way

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was just going by the instructions from Leo Vince. So I actually don't know how significant that is for those on the right way. I would assume they want them on that way for a reason.

    So what was the deal with the fabricated hanger? Is it possible install and use without having the fabricated your own bracket?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can fabricate your own

    • @stonehouseguitars3869
      @stonehouseguitars3869 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BLRTUNING is that necessary? Like out of the box it won't work without fabricating your own?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I guess your previous question I had misunderstood what you're asking. You don't have to fabricate your own exhaust hanger. You can but you don't have to. It will hang from the factory rear peg setup. I got rid of the rear pegs so I made my own exhaust hanger just something temporary to get me by.

    Did you assemble the headers before installing on the engine or did you put the pipes on the engine then install the link pipes to the slip-on? I found that the fit wasn't 100%. If I put the headers together first the connections to the engine weren't clean but if I put the pipes on first the stupid mid pipe wouldn't line up with the hole under the bike.

  • @az_pit_viper4270

    Was that Austin racing setup a slip on or full exhaust and did it fit loose because it was more of a universal setup?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was something that someone had fitted to this bike before we got it. We got the bike used it only had 500 miles on it whoever had it before just made something work. It looked like they used a piece of fence post to make that exhaust work. It was just a slip on and they cut the cat and use the mid pipe from a different bike..

      @@BLRTUNING oh, that makes sense. I bought myself a '21 Z900 for my birthday recently and considering a couple of different exhaust options. So far I really like the sound of the Austin racing exhaust.

    • @pmudri
      @pmudri ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@az_pit_viper4270 Austin Racing makes semi full exhausts, where you lose the breadbox but you keep the catalizator, so you gotta cut the pipe midway to fit the AR one. Not the best solution since you destroy original pipes.
