Almost all the original stage elphies have been in London over the filming time of the movie so I think there’s gonna be cameos from a lot of them in some small easter egg form
Anyone who brings up the issue about themselves being relevant is concerned about their relevance. Idina, decisions have been made and it’s ok to embrace the future even if you’re not part of it.
Maybe she didn't comment on it during the trailer drops bc she wasn't watching when it happened. Not everybody watches the Superbowl and not everybody tweets all the time. Of course she's going to say something when she presents with Cynthia E. That would have been weird not to and the presentation pairing was set up for that. I don't think it's that astonishing.
I agree with Idina 100%. She's very relevant. As a matter of fact the movie version isn't impressive for me to go see it. Looks too made up. Wish it was true to the play and or in play form. Even so without Idina I won't pay to see it. I was fortunate to see Wicked live and Idina was the star.
It's too funny to me that people judge a movie that isn't even released yet, or better yet they publicly announce that they won't watch the movie like they seek for attention. Yeah we get it you're bitter, so what?
Cynthia Erivo can't sing. She played the fairy godmother in Pinocchio 2022 and absolutely butchered 'When you wish upon a star'. She lacks the vocal range Idina has and I have no idea why they keep casting her in musicals and giving her the most famous songs. She'll ruin this musical too or maybe they will auto tune her voice or maybe Ariana will let Cynthia borrow her vocals. 😅
