What are the noise levels like under full load for this powercolor model? I have choice between this and the ASRock Challenger Pro OC which is a three fan design for the same price which makes it very tempting to get that instead as it probably runs quieter, but there's virtually no in-depth reviews for both cards and powercolor is an exclusive AMD partner while I kinda heard mixed things about ASRock gpus.

Not now, now the Radeon RX 6800 XT have never been this cheap, and is now the best graphics cards for price to performance. My reference model unfortunately gets around 90 to 105 hotspot temps rn. Funny, i bought a Radeon RX 6700 XT a few months back, to upgrade my Radeon RX 6600, that has only 8GB GDDR RAM, because there are now games already that has not enough RAM to already play some games normally, and so i bought the Radeon RX 6700 XT that has 12GB RAM, so i can play all the games i want for 3 a 5 years without getting RAM problems. And yeah it is a great graphics card for playing games on1440P. BTW if a graphics card get really hot outside a case, then it's a REALLY bad graphics card, and 81c on the hotspot, will by way in the 90s or higher in a case. A pity you did not run all the games on High/Ultra, so you can see the real difference between all the other graphics cards you test, that is much more precise, and much better to compare faster and slower graphics cards, now you have low setting in some game with this card, and high/Ultra settings with much faster cards, and is then hard to compare, and a pity you do not have a much faster CPU so it almost never can be a real bottleneck, absolutely at 1440P.

hello i buy this card, can i put in on psu chieftec crosair 650w?
This is a 1440p card. It says so on the box. It was never meant for 4K gaming. So all these 4k tests for this card can be ignored. Its good at 1440p but a phenomenal 1080p card. Nobody really uses or cares about Ray Tracing. Thats's Just a gimmick.
I felt the need to include 4K, same with RT. It’s ok me saying I don’t recommend both of them, but I wanted to provide the data to back up my claim.
Unfortunately, we cannot get these anymore in Australia. They are only available on the second-hand market
There are only Powercolor Fighter and XFX (refurbished) on sale new at Indonesia.
The sound under a gaming load was fine so I have no issues. I’d recommend getting the Asrock card for the triple fan cooler if they’re the same price.
Powercolor is my favorite AMD brand. The fighter model and the Red Devil models are really nice
Powercolor is slept on. Definitely one of my favourite AMD AIBs.
it is better this one of RX 7600 XT?
This should outprform a 7600 XT slightly (about 8-10%). Which one is looking like the better value in your area?
@@ProYamYamPC The 6700xt costs 369 euros. The 7600 xt costs 379
@@ProYamYamPCif the 6700 costs 10 euros less than the 7600 and the 6700 better 8-10% than a 7600 is, it means I have to buy the 6700 🤷🏻♂️ can I with both gpu videogames like the new silent hill 2 remake in 50fps at 1080p play and record on obs?
secondhand rx 6600 is the budget king right now
You might want to stick around as I literally ordered one today👀
The fact that the 12400f bottlenecks this card at 1080p scares me ngl. I have a 5700x and this card at 1080p and while I'm happy with the performance I'm scared that it might bottleneck it
I wouldn’t say it bottlenecks it, but it will hold it back slightly at competitive settings in eSports games. But even then, you’re more than likely getting FPS which exceeds your refresh rate anyways.
In short, it’s really not that much of a problem😂
@@ProYamYamPC that's reassuring 😂 Is the 5700x good enough for it at 1080p
@@totaldramasimmer1 Happy to help out!
I would say it’s a great pairing. Perfect for a 240Hz eSports experience at 1080p.
Got my 6700xt OEM-2400mhz core and 1100mv on radeon settings, never gets past 55-57c in gaming with a custom fan curve
Nice setup there mate! Which games are you playing?
@@ProYamYamPC most of them,in 1080p,i just play 2-3hrs a game so i never get bored :)
12400f get any bottelneck on 6700xt?
It will at 1080p. At 1440p, it’s a great pairing.
Great GPU for it's price to performance
100% it will go down as one of AMD’s best🙌
Great video, man. Was thinking of pairing that bad boy with my 65" TV. I mean, i'd love to get 6800xt/3080ti level gpu, but they are costly. Talk about ~22-25K roubles vs 40-42K. The difference is massive😢 Maybe i'll save $ and upgrade down the line in like 3 months. And yeah, this thing smokes 3060ti/3070/3070ti. So, if you are here, you gotta buy it, no remorse😎
I would recommend a more powerful GPU for 4K (that’s if your TV is 4K). However, I suspect if you enable FSR, you might be good playing at 4K
Not now, now the Radeon RX 6800 XT have never been this cheap, and is now the
best graphics cards for price to performance.
And a Radeon RX 6800 XT is a great graphics card for 4k high settings, and 1440P
also looks great on a 4K TV or monitor, and yes you can always use FSR2 or 3 to
always get 60+ in about all games, and still looks great, absolutely on 4k, not for
1080p, absolutely not on a big TV, but yes even DLSS 2 and up does not look that
great on 1080p.
My reference model unfortunately gets around 90 to 105 hotspot temps rn. Like i commented earlier i recently replaced thermal paste and cleaned it but i might have gone too easy on the amount of paste and my cable management is really bad so that might add to it.
Other than those worries amazing buy overall in terms of price per frames.
Solved it just now with more paste and better cable management.
Edit: Also undervolt to 1050 MV is possible very stable.
Um if we're talking about best value, as in what you get for the price, it would be the 6950xt...if they are still available that is
Sorry but for $330 the performance is awful. AMD cards are bad in generak. A $70 1070 or a 2080 for $150 is better value
Of course they’re going to have better value. That’s the whole point of the used market.
What nvidia card would it be better for 300$?
@@nexuqk I've bought OEM 3070 cards for $185 and I'd have a hard time justifying paying more than $200 on any GPU with the gaming performance per dollar you get from a 1070/2080 which still rip unless you need more than 8gb of VRAM.
@@Dale-TND the thing is 6700xt is new at 300$ bro,2080 and 1070 are old, consume alot of power and offer low performance. 185 for a 3070 is a one time thing, normally its more expensive. I got my 6700xt new for 220-230$,sh i only buy low end gpu's cuz i dont know in what condition the card is
I would rather spend $300 for a 2 year old card than $150 for a 5 year old card...
Funny, i bought a Radeon RX 6700 XT a few months back, to upgrade my Radeon RX 6600,
that has only 8GB GDDR RAM, because there are now games already that has not enough
RAM to already play some games normally, and so i bought the Radeon RX 6700 XT that has
12GB RAM, so i can play all the games i want for 3 a 5 years without getting RAM problems.
And yeah it is a great graphics card for playing games on1440P.
BTW if a graphics card get really hot outside a case, then it's a REALLY bad graphics card,
and 81c on the hotspot, will by way in the 90s or higher in a case.
A pity you did not run all the games on High/Ultra, so you can see the real difference between
all the other graphics cards you test, that is much more precise, and much better to compare
faster and slower graphics cards, now you have low setting in some game with this card,
and high/Ultra settings with much faster cards, and is then hard to compare, and a pity you
do not have a much faster CPU so it almost never can be a real bottleneck, absolutely at 1440P.
Never like it when people say" i received this GPU, and i did not pay for it, but this
won't affect my review in any way".
Because now i think is he lying to us now, or not, and if you did not mention that
i would not think that right away, same for hit the like button and subscribe, why
would you say that, that sounds like begging please hit the like button and subscribe.
And most people will do it without you saying it, if they like what you let us see, so
there is no reason (if you do it good) to beg people for a like and subscribe.
literally every reviewer gets free hardware to review and all of them say hit the subscribe button...are you fucking new to TH-cam or something??
