    Bought my son the xfx swft 6800 for £380 from Ebuyer three days ago, couldn't resist it at that price. Was tempted by the 6700xt but as he had a 5700xt the 6800 felt the better option.

      The Radeon RX 6700 XT is already a lot faster then a Radeon RX 5700 XT, but

      you made the right choice.

    Installed a sapphire pulse rx 6700 xt last week. I mostly play indie or older stuff at fullHD, so no gigantic change from my RX 480 8gb. I honestly expected more.
    But! I can now go to 1440p without excessive worry, and rock this card for probably 7-8years :)
    That powercolor also looks quite sleek... could have gotten that instead of sapphire, but felt safer with the pulse for fan mgmt and general reliability.

    i got the 6700xt and have been really enjoying it. At the low end, every 5-10 dollars matters hugely but once you get to the 6700xt that gap widens substantially and you get out of "budget buy" range. unless you get some insane aftermarket deal on a used/refurb, nothing can beat the value of this card

    I have just got this card and it is really good apart from the coil whine, which is really loud in high FPS games e.g. CS2 etc... If you have it in a case that has lots of fans you won't hear it, but if you have water cooling etc you will..., so I would go with another manufacture of the card. Thanks for the video... and here's my upsell: I was going to buy this exact model until I saw that I could get the 7700xt for 50 quid more. The 7700xt is a lot better at raytracing and about 25% faster at raster. I'm at 1080p atm, and Cyberpunk with everything maxed out, AND ray tracing all set to max (not path-tracing, it can't do that), and it's getting 57fps average in-game... The only thing is ray tracing isn't really that big of a visual difference tbh... I suspect the newer card is a better bet for longevity for a bit more money.

    I have this exact card paired with a 5600x. I think the real trick with this card is to use rsr within the adrenaline software I can play starfield and rdr2 with all graphics settings maxed out (although water physics in rdr2 at 75%) if I set the games resolution to 1080p it scales it up to 4K may not be "Native 4k" but its pretty good in my humble opinion. Starfield requires a bit of trickery as to enable rsr it requires you to change windows display settings to 1080p and the ingame resolution to 1080p I get on average about 56fps and it drops to the 40s in side new atlantis. I can certainly live with that. I do tend to use a 4k tv though so maybe that helps.

It will OC to 2950MHz core stable with good temps. Add in my 5600X3D, MSI B550 Unify professional overclocker's board that gets my 3200MHz B-die RAM kit to an insane 3800MHz CL16-16-16 stable (I could get much higher RAM speed but it decouples from the AMD Ryzen Infinity fabric clock speed limits giving negative results above 3800MHz) . Intel/4060Ti owners get dropped in high fps, CPU limited, competitive shooters like a rain of death. Its truly a thing to behold when they find out I did it with last gen, 3 year old, mid range tech. That 3D V-cache puts the 5600X3D in the top fastest gaming CPUs currently available matching the 7700X, great for Fortnite, CSGO, Valorant, MW3, etc.

    Great video, man. Was thinking of pairing that bad boy with my 65" TV. I mean, i'd love to get 6800xt/3080ti level gpu, but they are costly. Talk about ~22-25K roubles vs 40-42K. The difference is massive😢 Maybe i'll save $ and upgrade down the line in like 3 months. And yeah, this thing smokes 3060ti/3070/3070ti. So, if you are here, you gotta buy it, no remorse😎

    • @ProYamYamPC
      @ProYamYamPC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would recommend a more powerful GPU for 4K (that’s if your TV is 4K). However, I suspect if you enable FSR, you might be good playing at 4K

    • @AmigaWolf
      @AmigaWolf 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not now, now the Radeon RX 6800 XT have never been this cheap, and is now the
      best graphics cards for price to performance.
      And a Radeon RX 6800 XT is a great graphics card for 4k high settings, and 1440P
      also looks great on a 4K TV or monitor, and yes you can always use FSR2 or 3 to
      always get 60+ in about all games, and still looks great, absolutely on 4k, not for
      1080p, absolutely not on a big TV, but yes even DLSS 2 and up does not look that
      great on 1080p.

    My reference model unfortunately gets around 90 to 105 hotspot temps rn. Like i commented earlier i recently replaced thermal paste and cleaned it but i might have gone too easy on the amount of paste and my cable management is really bad so that might add to it.
    Other than those worries amazing buy overall in terms of price per frames.

    • @svenwort2055

      Solved it just now with more paste and better cable management.
      Edit: Also undervolt to 1050 MV is possible very stable.

    Sorry but for $330 the performance is awful. AMD cards are bad in generak. A $70 1070 or a 2080 for $150 is better value

  • @AmigaWolf
    @AmigaWolf 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Funny, i bought a Radeon RX 6700 XT a few months back, to upgrade my Radeon RX 6600,
    that has only 8GB GDDR RAM, because there are now games already that has not enough
    RAM to already play some games normally, and so i bought the Radeon RX 6700 XT that has
    12GB RAM, so i can play all the games i want for 3 a 5 years without getting RAM problems.
    And yeah it is a great graphics card for playing games on1440P.
    BTW if a graphics card get really hot outside a case, then it's a REALLY bad graphics card,
    and 81c on the hotspot, will by way in the 90s or higher in a case.
    A pity you did not run all the games on High/Ultra, so you can see the real difference between
    all the other graphics cards you test, that is much more precise, and much better to compare
    faster and slower graphics cards, now you have low setting in some game with this card,
    and high/Ultra settings with much faster cards, and is then hard to compare, and a pity you
    do not have a much faster CPU so it almost never can be a real bottleneck, absolutely at 1440P.
