I've had a 2020 Tacoma trdor for a little over a month now and you are exactly right. The pedal commander and seat jackers are must haves. I saw the seat jackers on amazon and thought it was an over priced joke until I read the reviews so I got one and WOW!!! It's hard to describe but it feels so much better.

I have a 2017 non power seat and these seat jackers is a game changer . I actually went to their shop in Las Vegas and the owner was really nice and gave me a tour of the shop. Great product !! Great quality
My 23 pro seat feels like the rear needs raising to me. Anybody else feel the same? Good video Rob. Glad you are more comfortable. I cant find a comfortable spot.
My previous Tacoma was like that. I put spacers on just the rear for that👍
I got 2 sets for $30 total on ebay. Same quality. Time to go see if my legs hit the steering wheel. Crazy what every little company wants for these mods. About to take off my emblems so I don't have to buy a black emblem cover kit. Still have to get a new head unit and rock sliders. New wheels, all terrain tires, front grill, and paint matched bumper ends so far. You buy a truck and spend 6k on upgrades immediately lol. 3rd gens.

Definitely a game changer. I installed the seat jackers in my Tacoma less than 500 miles into owning it.
As many videos as you do, you really need to buy a few torque wrenches!

A must have mod, put these in my 2019 , made all the difference on longer trips.
I installed the seat jackers on both front seats about two years ago. Make the seating positions much more comfortable for me and a passenger. It truly is a must mod.
For passenger did you add the rear spacers also?

I got mine in the mail today, can’t wait to install them tomorrow, these leather seats in 2023 don’t adjust high enough in front either, my 202 with cloth seats seemed ok, like they went up a tad higher and so did the lumbar, maybe having heated seats now messes with how far these things can be adjusted. Can’t wait to get mine installed seeing your face on this video afterwards tells me I’ll love it just like pedal commander.

These are great besides the steering wheel not being able to telescope much. However, Toyota definitely addressed this in the new 4th gens!

We’ve noticed that the passenger seat is Way too low so I bought some spacers for the rear of the front passenger seat as well as the front seat jacket for both of the front seats.
I bought the front seat jackets before my new Tacoma even arrived. I did it for the same reason. I read a lot of reviews about the angle of the seat - even with the powered seat and realized I would need them so I could be at a comfortable angle. They are great.
I experienced exactly what you described in that the front of the seat just does not raise enough. I test drove a 2023 Limited a few days ago and within 15 min, my lower back was getting sore. I explained to the sales person that I just can't get the front of the seat up high enough. It was electric of course with the Limited and I sure had it cranked all the way up. If I decide to pull the trigger on the 2023 instead of waiting for the 2024, I will order these ASAP. I sure hope they have addressed this issue in the 2024 and made it more like chair height seating. I test drove a Frontier and it was like that. Much more comfortable. And.......I am only 5' 9"

Just installed seat jackers on my adjustable seats too. So much more comfy. Harder to get in and out of truck now though. Less room between seat and steering wheel 😂

I have had seat jackers on my 2019 trd sport for a couple of years now. My truck as you probably know doesn't have power seats. Toyota cheapest out on the quality of the seats. I also had the foam upgrades for comfort, because after a hundred or so miles on a trip my back hurt because of the seats position and the lack of proper cushion. Lots better since I did the mods!!! Still could be better. Love my Taco otherwise.
Some run about a hundred bucks a pair and some half the price.

This is one of the reasons I'm waiting for the 2024 Tacoma. With the seat all the way up on the third gen, my head was in the ceiling. On the fourth generation they raised both the seat and the ceiling 1.3".

@@RobMotive you're going to be surprised then because the guys from TFL who are 6'3"ish said it was a lot more comfortable than the third gen. I'm 6'2" so I made sure to look out for that part of the reviews and they all said it was more comfortable and their head wasn't in the ceiling any longer.
You should have been invited to see the 2024, you post a much Tacoma content as anyone else.

Well that is a big difference and definitely will give you a lot more play with the electric seat. You'll have to do a review down the road. As much as I hate to admit, it took me a long time to find the perfect sitting position even with the power seat and I still adjust every now and them. Nice install, looks like a non fear one for me 😅

I was going to install these but there is no way I can remove my driver seat bolts. I've used a 14 mm socket and 3/4 driver with long handle applied all the force I can, not one of mine move. To try any more pressure could create a problem by breaking or stripping I'm afraid. After researching the net I see some have indeed stripped bolts creating problems. I'm thinking some Tacoma models may have permanent loctite and I'm not about to take a torch to the bolts in my new truck to melt the loctite.
I’m looking for seat jackers to raise my passenger side seat by about 2-3” because it sits too low.
I’ll be buying a set for the front of the driver’s seat as the power seat is fine, but when the seat is raised, the front of the seat actually lowers.

A big part of the reason I got rid of my 2016 Tacoma was the horribly narrow seats. This product wouldn't help with that. Full-size trucks have so much better seats.

Ouch. $102 for two of these things. I could understand if it was a set of four to do both seats. But these are severely overpriced. Not sure if it would actually make any difference in my 2006 Tacoma.
Ok Rob Im 5-10 and w/o the Jackers and the front raised up tp where I like it my legs always hit the steering wheel. If I put in the Jackers and adjust Im afraid I wont be able to get out. 2022 TRD 10 way seat. I already did the passenger seat both front and rear and the wife loves them. Are your legs hitting when entering and existing? This is even when the steering wheel is in the up most position.
Mine do not. Keep in mind we’re all proportioned differently and adjust the steering wheel differently as well. Plus adjustment of the electric seat.
They(not Seat Jackers) make an extension for your steering wheel adjust. Gives you more leg room.

If I only install the front jackers, is there any concern about bending the seat rail in the back when I tighten those back down after installing the fronts? Just didn't want to bend the brackets

No need. Pedal Commander eliminates throttle lag and makes the Tacoma what it should be 👍
I had one, and I agree. It did. But I switched and got a KDMaxx tune, and it made it much better.
Then I put an Anderson Engineering Manifold Spacer on it, and that made it even better.
Depends on your goal I suppose. To eliminate throttle lag, Pedal Commander is all you need👍

I did. I see no difference with the naked eye.
I did the Jackers on the passenger side (front and rear) for the wife she likes it. It raised her up so she doesnt feel like she is sitting on the floor
I also currently have the front of the seat maxed to the up position. What adjustments did you end up having to make after the install?
Not sure what you mean? I installed the Jackets and then adjusted the seat to suit my needs👍
I think you had mentioned in the video that you may have to adjust the front of the seat down after the install as if it might be too high at that point. I may have misunderstood.@@RobMotive

After the mod, how do your legs / knees fair with the steering wheel clearance?
I actually lowered the seat a tad (just felt right). So, it’s a wash👍
I’ve had my seat jackers about a year and i drive around 70 miles a day the jackers really help on comfort and circulation
My legs hit w/o the Jackers....so Im wary...have them on the passenger side though!
